Your Story Matters- Mr. Mediocre

Matt Missler teaches us that our story, no matter how "insignificant" it may feel, matters. Our past has power in other peoples' present.

Discussion Questions:

1. BRAINSTORM: Reflect on your life and jot down a few notes that might apply to the following categories.
   1. Heritage- How did your upbringing influence who you are?
   2. Heroes- What relationships have been pivotal in your life?
   3. High Points- What points in your life have you felt closest to God?
   4. Hard Times- What have been the most difficult times in your life?
   5. Hand of God- When have you seen God at work in your life?
2. ORGANIZE: Think chapters, NOT a biography. Using your notes, arrange them into the chapters of your life story.
3. PRACTICE: Share one chapter of your story with a friend, family member, or someone in your community group.
4. TAKE ACTION THIS WEEK:  Who do you know that needs to hear a chapter of God at work in your life story?
