Discussion Questions:
- Have you ever prayed and felt like God was silent like you weren't getting any answers or direction? How has that feeling affected your prayers going forward?
- When you've experienced painful seasons of life, have you been more likely to cling closer to God or to push away from God? Why do you think that is?
- Describe a time when something difficult has ultimately produced good character in you.
- What practical step can you take this week to begin feeling grateful amid your unresolved circumstances? If you took that step, how do you think it would change the way you worship?
- Spend a few moments praying (on your own or with a group). "God, I want an 'even if kind of faith. I may not be perfect at it, but I'm choosing to trust you and worship you, even if I don't understand or if I don't get an immediate answer to my prayers."
