Mind Your Busyness: It's time to Re-orient

- The message uses the analogy of a pilot recovering from an unusual attitude. Have you experienced a time when your life felt "upside down"? What led to your time and/or schedule getting disoriented?
- Jesus made it a habit to "prioritize times of quiet." (In Mark 1:35, Jesus sought solitude early in the morning to connect with God.) When can you carve out intentional quiet moments in your day to reset and refocus? What obstacles might you need to overcome?
- Jesus also made it a habit to "protect his schedule" and often said no to good opportunities to stay focused on His mission. How do you decide when to say yes or no to additional activity in your life? What helps you feel confident in those decisions?
- Jesus often prioritized purpose over public approval. How do you handle the tension between living purposefully and meeting other's expectations and/or needs? Do you find it difficult to say no to the people in your life? Why or why not?
- Pastor Andy introduced the idea of "editing our schedules" like a storyteller. Are there any "scenes" or "characters" you could remove to make your life (story) more aligned with your purpose If you freed up space, what (or who)could you add to your story to make it even better?
