Ask Mister Brown Kids Edition
I’m Mister Brown — yes, Mister is my first name, and Brown is my last. And for years, I’ve shared one simple message that works for kids, teens, and adults everywhere:
When you make better choices, you will live a better life.
This podcast is designed especially for parents who want to help their kids grow in responsibility, confidence, and character — without more screen time. Whether you’re in the car, at home, or winding down for the day, this is a listen-first podcast that gives families a healthy alternative to scrolling while still helping kids think, reflect, and grow.
Each episode tackles real questions kids are already asking about:
- Choices
- Attitudes
- Friendships
- Emotions
- School
- Life challenges
While you can’t always control what happens to you, you can always control how you choose to respond — and that’s what we unpack together in a way kids can understand, and parents can reinforce.
💬 Got a question?

Can We Just Take A Moment? The Mister Brown Show
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
On this episode of the Mister Brown Show we are going to ask the question, “Can we just take a moment?” Because on the Mister Brown Show, we do “Real Talk, Real Life, Real Choices.”
Sometimes our society moves on too quickly when bad things happen. Can we take a minute to grieve and process our pain from the shooting at Oxford High School in Michigan that left 3 people dead and 8 injured? Tragedies like this are so quickly politicized and everybody immediately starts pointing fingers. People instantly jump to the gun control argument or blame teachers, parents, schools, etc.… for the tragedy. This tragedy was caused by a human being who made an incredibly sad choice. Life is too short, can we just take a minute to grieve the loss of these teenagers' lives?
Thanksgiving Reflection: “Do you still have an attitude of gratitude?” Thankfulness and gratitude should not stop after Thanksgiving!
Quote Of The Day: “Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.” Your past may not be beautiful or it may not be what you wanted it to be, but you learned from it! When you look at your past through the lens of gratitude, it helps make sense of it. You can always be thankful that you have a past to reflect on.
Remember to choose the attitude of gratitude. Oh Yeah!
