Ask Mister Brown Kids Edition
I’m Mister Brown — yes, Mister is my first name, and Brown is my last. And for years, I’ve shared one simple message that works for kids, teens, and adults everywhere:
When you make better choices, you will live a better life.
This podcast is designed especially for parents who want to help their kids grow in responsibility, confidence, and character — without more screen time. Whether you’re in the car, at home, or winding down for the day, this is a listen-first podcast that gives families a healthy alternative to scrolling while still helping kids think, reflect, and grow.
Each episode tackles real questions kids are already asking about:
- Choices
- Attitudes
- Friendships
- Emotions
- School
- Life challenges
While you can’t always control what happens to you, you can always control how you choose to respond — and that’s what we unpack together in a way kids can understand, and parents can reinforce.
💬 Got a question?
Kids, teens, and parents are invited to submit their questions and hear Mister Brown’s perspective — practical, encouraging, and honest — to help your family talk about real life and make better choices together.
🎙️ Listen together. Talk together. Choose well.

On this episode of the Mister Brown Show I will be introducing the first Books With Mister Brown segment where we will be talking about the book “Leadership and Self-Deception.” Because on the Mister Brown Show, we do “Real Talk, Real Life, Real Choices.”
The Worst Type of Deception = Self-Deception
Self-deception is not doing something you know you should be doing, and then justifying yourself for it. You enter self-deception when you do not honor your own values. Choose to honor the person you want to be. We will never find real solutions to issues we face if we keep thinking we never contribute to the problem. Diminishing other people’s humanity only increases our self-deception. Let’s treat people like the human being they are! Sometimes you need to take a deep breath and remember that God made each and every person for a purpose. Remember that next time you disagree with someone or they ‘get under your skin.’
