In Beyond IPAs, we examine the amazing craft brew scene throughout New England. Our aim is to showcase the wonderful breweries that are constantly producing some amazing beer. We hope to help build the craft beer community by sharing what we know about brewing and educating local craft beer fans about what they are drinking. The show is co-hosted Dan Lattuada, an experienced and award winning brewer from Coppertree Brewing, Scott Lussier, a University Professor with a Craft Beer course in Boston and Brian Wonson, a leader in the New England craft beer social scene. 42nd Brew Co.
We've got a new brewery in the south shore - 42nd Brew Co. We sit down in their wonderful new taproom in Kingston with co-owners Stephen Darby, Paul Schiele and Matt Ward and get the scoop on the brewery, their Kill the Keg action, their emphasis on design, the bell, and their future plans. In some ways, their origin story is familiar (homebrew guys and a firepit) and in other ways it is definitely not (listen and find out). In any event, you'll be hearing more about this brewery from us for sure and probably from others who know a good brewery when they see one. These guys are onto something big. Cheers!
