In Beyond IPAs, we examine the amazing craft brew scene throughout New England. Our aim is to showcase the wonderful breweries that are constantly producing some amazing beer. We hope to help build the craft beer community by sharing what we know about brewing and educating local craft beer fans about what they are drinking. The show is co-hosted Dan Lattuada, an experienced and award winning brewer from Coppertree Brewing, Scott Lussier, a University Professor with a Craft Beer course in Boston and Brian Wonson, a leader in the New England craft beer social scene. Harper Lane's Mike Pasalacqua
Harper Lane's new brewery is open and it's awesome! We sit down for a few pints with owner, head brewer and genuine nice guy Mike Pasalacqua in his new brewery and discuss how it all came to be. Until a few months ago, Mike had been a Tenant brewer for 6+ years and has finally realized his dream of opening a wonderful brewery in the South Shore of Massachusetts, Middleborough to be exact. We discuss his journey, transforming a garage into a beautiful brewery with his father and their 4 hands, his brewing philosophy, the challenges of 2-2-1, and the importance of quality ingredients.
