The WOW Podcast with Jude Kelly
Featuring actor Liz Carr, a look at fertility treatment during the pandemic & a performance by Fehdah
Just before lockdown, Jude Kelly interviewed one of WOW's longtime friends, actor, comedian and activist Liz Carr. Listen now to hear about her life and career, why she thinks women find it hard to shout about their talent, and her role in the forthcoming Hollywood blockbuster Infinite.
We then move to explore what impact Covid-19 has had for people undergoing or in need of fertility treatments. Family lawyer Emma Willing, from law firm Mishcon De Reya, discusses the subject with Jude. We end this week with a performance by producer and songwriter Fehdah, who performs an acoustic version of their single Day in Shock - accompanied in lockdown by her younger brother on the guitar. Watch their performances and hear more from our WOW Sounds programme of female musicians here
