Personally Speaking ep. 324 (Aaron Lazar)

In this episode of Personally Speaking, Msgr. Jim Lisante is joined by actor and singer Aaron Lazar. Aaron’s film and television credits include, “The Wolf of Wall Street”, and “J.Edgar”, and recent television appearances include CBS’ “The Equalizer”, and “Yellowstone”. Aaron has starred on Broadway 11 times from his debut in “The Phantom of the Opera” to “A Little Night Music”, “The Light in the Piazza” and the first revival of “Les Miserables”. Since January of 2022, Aaron has been in the fight of his life against ALS, a neurological disease also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, that progressively steals a person’s ability to walk, speak, eat, use their hands and breath on their own. Aaron made a decision “not to live afraid” and instead has focused on healing himself emotionally, spiritually and also physically. He talks about his life, his career, fatherhood, his faith, and living with ALS.
