Is “Merry Christmas” really good news for hearts weighed down by grief, guilt, and pain? In Isaiah 52, God answers with something far deeper: “Your God reigns!” On Christmas Day, we shout with the watchmen that Jesus was born not to cover sorrow with cheer, but to redeem ruins, comfort the broken, and announce victory where all seemed lost. Because our King has come and has won, we rejoice! Merry Christmas from all of us at Trinity!
