Jesus meets a Samaritan woman at a well and gently breaks through every barrier—cultural, personal, and spiritual—to bring her the living water of God's love which brings freedom from shame. Through the gospel, Jesus grabs our attention in much the same way, so that he can pour God's grace and mercy into our hearts by giving us his Spirit and the Truth. Praise Jesus that he's willing to break barriers -- even making us a little uncomfortable if necessary! -- to show us how refreshing God's grace is.
