Jesus had every right to claim glory, yet chose the path of humility: serving people, loving them, helping them. Because he chose submitted himself to humiliating service --even suffering on a cross!-- your status as a forgiven child of God is secure. You can live, and serve, as on who has nothing to prove to anybody -- because you've already gained it all in Jesus.
