EP041- Peter Donegan talks about DIY SOS The Big Build Ireland -RTE

A bonus episode of Master My Garden podcast with garden designer Peter Donegan. We talk about the recent RTE show DIY SOS The Big Build Ireland presented by Baz Ashmawy a superb show that transforms the homes of three families around Ireland.

Peter explains how these homes are transformed over a period of 9 -11 days and the scale of the task involved in doing that. We talk about his own role in designing the gardens within these home all with specific briefs and taking the clients needs into account. All three gardens and homes finished and lives are changed for the better as a result.  The hard work, peoples good nature and generosity all shine through in this show.

In terms of the gardens all three are different and have different features that will be enjoyed for years to come, least of all the spaceship which is part of the garden design in the last episode.
