What opportunity is God putting in front of you right now?

In this message, Pastor John Huseman walks verse by verse through Luke 5 and reminds us that Jesus still meets people “on their worst day, in their worst moment.” When Simon feels like a failure after fishing all night with nothing to show for it, Jesus steps into his boat and invites him deeper, saying, “Put out into deep water and let down the nets for a catch.”

Simon’s response becomes the turning point of the story: “But because you say so, I will let down the nets.” And when he obeys, God does what only God can do. “They caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break,” and the blessing was so big “they filled both boats so full that they began to sink.”

This message will encourage you to trust God’s timing, take the next step He’s been putting on your heart, and believe that “every good thing comes from God.” Because when Jesus knocks, it is an invitation to more.
