Speaker 1:

Welcome to US Phenomenon, where possibilities are endless. Put down those same old headlines. It's time to expand your mind and question what if? From paranormal activity to UFOs, bigfoot sightings and unsolved mysteries, this is US Phenomenon?

Speaker 2:

From the Pacific Northwest in the shadow of the 1962 World's Fair, the Space Needle. Good evening, good morning, good afternoon wherever the case may be for you on God's green earth. I am your host, mario Magana. This is US Phenomenon and welcome as we get close to the end of Holy Week. For those in the Christianity community, tomorrow morning kids will wake up and for some of you it's just another day. But for those that are celebrating, tomorrow will be Easter Sunday. For some of you, across all of our platforms, whenever you may listen to this radio show, maybe it is an easter, maybe easter has already passed or it was coming up, or yes, it just depends on where you're at, with one of our radio stations or if you're listening via the podcast. We appreciate it. Thank you so much for uh sharing this time with us and sharing holy week with us, as always. I mean, it is a time of, of renewance, and which is always a great time of year to you know, having spring here and as we navigate through this time of year, it's a renewance for those in the community, for those that are Christian and for some who aren't. You know, maybe you're atheist or whatnot, and you celebrate. Maybe you go easter egg hunting. I I've always never been a fan of going to easter egg hunts uh, via my past traumas, not that anyone cares to hear about it, but yes I, I remember being a kid going through, like des moines over there by the waterfront and going to the Easter egg hunt. And you know, going through the Des Moines park there and hanging out It'd be wet and damp from the dew of springtime and going to go, you know, waiting for the whistle to be blown so we can all run to grab eggs. And there's little Mario with all his little hair slip, fall and hit the pavement well, not the pavement but the grass and just be all wet and soggy and tears coming, big tears coming down, maybe six eggs. Just a travesty as a little boy to go on an Easter egg hunt and trying to find those eggs. Do you remember those times? Maybe you were way more lucky than I was during the Easter egg hunts of your time. You remember those? Send me a text. 775-990-5151.

Speaker 2:

I just never was a fan of going to. I mean, I even as an adult taking my child, who now is too old to go to easter egg hunts. But again, very, very lucky to have spent some really awesome times and it made some really great memories with her going to different easter egg hunts you know, in west seattle, the high u? Um over there in the in that area, playing with the little kids, or even going to the thrift way uh easter egg hunt, which is one of the big ones in west seattle um, or even at the old retirement home before, uh, it turned turned into ages of living off of Admiral Way, there was a really fun little Easter egg hunt that Sophia and I would go to. So if you're out there, maybe you're getting ready to hide your eggs, or maybe you're outside late at night this evening hiding eggs for your kids. Good luck, remember where you placed all those eggs and remember at least we stopped hiding real eggs out there because those became stink bombs.

Speaker 2:

Remember those days when, back in the 80s and 90s, when your parents would like hey, hide real eggs out there. Oh, that was always a treat. They're like did you find them all? How many eggs do you have? Nope, there's still like six more out there. You're like well, I don't have them, I don't care. And your parents are like no, you need to find them, you're the ones that hit them. Well, maybe go check in that area, do you remember those days? Well, as we continue to celebrate Holy Week here for those who are partaking, let's remember that Palm Sunday, through Easter, tomorrow Sunday, marks the final.

Speaker 2:

This is the final days of Holy Week and the rise of the resurrection of Jesus Christ will happen, and remember the celebration of what was Holy Thursday is when Jesus Christ had his and his disciples had their last supper. During that meal, jesus Christ washed their feet, if you remember those days, and as we all know, tomorrow we will observe Easter and celebrate the resurrection, symbolizing hope and redemption for Christians around the world. So tonight, or wherever the case may be for you, as you're listening to this via the podcast, or maybe you're well, you're not watching because there is no visual this time, not on this show. Tonight we're going to focus on listeners, viewers, listeners of the show, who have sent us text messages that have been piling up, and we're going to get to those text messages to share their stories, and that's why we're here. We're here for you and maybe you have a story you'd like to share with us 775-990-5151. You know, as we, you know, ponder through life and continue to be like man. What, if you know?

Speaker 2:

I just I love this time of year spring, the air. Did you go to the spring fair? Did you go down to the Washington State Fair? For all of us who are Washingtonians, the spring Puyallup fair, as I do my air quotes come on. I mean, I know it's the Washington state fair, the Washington state spring fair, but if you're from here, you still call it. You know the spring fair and we had a chance to do that over the week. Uh, you know, we had a chance to go check out the spring fair, um, you know, we had a chance to go check out the spring fair. Um, stopped by the booth and hung out for a little bit as well. So, if you don't, tomorrow is the last day of the spring fair. So, depending where you're at now, this is the end of the uh, the washington state spring fair.

Speaker 2:

So we we definitely had a good time as a family doing that together. We will not be doing an easter egg hunt. We're too old for that, um. So, uh, hopefully kids aren't listening to me like, what do you mean? We're too. Your kids are too old for that. Yeah, they are. Well, at least she is, um, but still enjoys receiving a easter basket. I mean, isn't always nice to get an easter basket? Yeah I?

Speaker 2:

I think so. Uh, you can send your text in with your stories. We do have a ton of them that have piled up 775-990-5151. How have you been doing? How's life? I mean it has been an interesting time.

Speaker 2:

A lot of people have been really sick lately, right, I mean I know that I have had some really bad. I think I had a really bad cold that either I caught from somebody else, had the flu, you know, got the why didn't you get your flu shot? Type of situation. And yeah, you know it's like when are you supposed to do that? You know. So for those that I mean I hadn't really gotten a flu shot in such a long time, you know it's always been hit or miss and you know when is the right time to actually get a flu shot, if that's what you're into, that kind of thing. So, yeah, we're going to get through our text messages. We do have some voicemails that we'll get through as well. We do have some voicemails that we'll get through as well.

Speaker 2:

So you know, it's funny when we talk and sit and have a conversation about paranormal experiences. I don't really have any that come to mind, although, when I was living with my fiancé at the the time and I was doing that story or we did that interview that you know, we I don't even know if it actually made it on air because there were some anomalies in the podcast or in our recordings with them that showed up and it was like someone else was talking in the background. So we were doing because of the time schedule, we couldn't get them to do the show with us, so we had to record them. And what's so interesting to me is I went back and listened and none of the audio. You could definitely hear a faint voice in the background talking while we were talking or answering questions as we were talking. Just very intriguing to me. I was like man, maybe I should play this, but it being so meticulous about, I was like oh, we can't use this audio.

Speaker 2:

We can't use this, but we should have. I probably scrubbed it. It's probably no longer around, but I I that was probably my only encounter. And then, coming downstairs, my fiancee at the time said, oh, that picture fell off the wall. I was like what are you talking about? Yeah, that thing, that picture fell off the wall. I was like what?

Speaker 2:

At the same time I was interviewing these ladies and they were called the ghost girls. Um, they, they've done a ton of tv on you know, bravo, and things of that nature and uh, we were trying to book them to have them come back. But, man, what an interesting story. And that was probably my closest encounter to someone of the extraordinary or paranormal world. But I've never had like an encounter. I know I've been in rooms like at the historical Everett Theater, where I felt something, you know, and it was like no, it was not the HVAC system, it's hard to describe, but it felt like this cold thing came, not like you felt it, but it's almost like it felt it go through you, very, very intriguing. So, yeah, I was like man, those are my encounters. And so I thought that, because this would be a great opportunity to catch up on emails and people sending text messages to us, and we really appreciate that.

Speaker 2:

Maybe you are listening from a different area. You listen to the podcast. Send us your text too. You know, maybe you're listening to us. Let us know where you're listening to us in a radio station. You think we should be on? All right, that's my self-promotion. Um, yeah, just an interesting time of year to just. I love spring, you know, don't you? It's just, you know, the weather starting to get better, the air smells so good. You hear the birds chirping in the morning. It's just, it's something about it, man, just something about it. All right. Well, let's get into our text messages if you'd like to send us a text or you want to be chirping in the morning. It's just, it's something about it, man, just something about it. All right. Well, let's get into our text messages If you'd like to send us a text or you want to be a part of the show. 775-990-5151. Our first one comes in from Karen. Karen sends us a message. Let's get to Karen's message here. Uh, karen, karen's listening via organ. Uh, podcast listener. Hey, mario, love the show.

Speaker 2:

A few years back, while camping near crater lake, I saw what only describes as a massive figure walking through the fog? It wasn't. It was at least eight feet tall and covered in dark fur. It wasn't a bear. Its movement was eerie, almost human-like. To this day I can't shake the feeling that I encounter bigfoot question mark. I'd love to hear your thoughts. You know it's interesting because I'm looking at the map right now and you were near crater lake.

Speaker 2:

There have been sightings of bigfoot uh, encounters or bigfoot sightings near crater lake. I typically I mean you're the one that saw it, so I would definitely. If you haven't made the connection, let's. I'm looking at the map right now Bigfoot sightings and you can always look at this Bigfoot. It's under BFRO database and you can find out how many Bigfoot sightings there are around the world. All right, karen, thank you for sending your text message our way. We appreciate it. You know, thinking about that and looking at the map here, it's intriguing to me because there are sightings around there. Again, like I said, make sure to go to the website or, if you have more information, send it our way or send that information to the BFRO website as well, so they can continue to mark the Bigfoot steps on the map for these encounters.

Speaker 2:

And remember, in Washington State you're not allowed to shoot a Bigfoot. So you know you got to be on your best behavior, right, because we all know that it's illegal to do that in Washington State. I don't know so much about Oregon, but I know in Washington you're not allowed. And fun fact that I was. Where was I? Oh, I think I was doom scrolling, for those that don't know just sitting there, going on Instagram on your mobile phone and just looking at stories and articles over and over and over, for you know, over a certain amount of time 20, 30 minutes and I came across a Star Wars story where, when they were shooting return of the jedi, that um, when they were filming in the woods in california, that they had bodyguards around chewbacca because they were afraid that someone was going to mistake him for a bigfoot and shoot him. So they wanted to make sure that he was clearly marked in case there were avid hunters out there saying, oh, I found Bigfoot. Could you imagine the headlines on that one? Oh.

Speaker 2:

Chewbacca shot and mistaken as a Bigfoot. I mean Chewbacca kind of does look like Bigfoot, but no, harry and the Hendersons, that's for sure. You can continue to send your text 775-990-5151. Karen. Again, thank you so much, karen, for sending your text message to us and sharing your sighting out there near Crater Lake, ooh eerie. Remember to make sure when youing out there near Crater Lake Ooh eerie Remember to make sure you, when you're out there camping, to bring the proper amount of gear and whatnot. All right, we'll continue. So we have a listener. Send us a text message from Montana, josh listening via his. He's a streamer as well. He listens to the show. You know what's interesting, Josh. You'll have to let us know. We've got to find a radio station out there in Montana for sure.

Speaker 2:

Hi, mario, I had the weirdest experience in the woods last fall while hunting. I heard a deep gruntal grow that gave me chills. Moments later I found massive footprints leading to a cave. Something about the entire area felt wrong. Have you ever heard of bigfoot sightings near glacier national park? You know it's funny you say that there are and have been sightings near Glacier National Park. Again, if you guys are having these encounters, we will have links. Use the resources that are available. We'll put them on usphenomenoncom or, if you go to onairmariocom, which takes you to US Phenomenon, we'll have a page where you can do these reports. We'll have the links available so that you'll be able to find them and use them to share your stories with the proper people who will be able to take down the information and put it in the database. This information is so crucial as we continue to get closer and closer to finding Bigfoot.

Speaker 2:

But I've been out in the woods and I still haven't had a Bigfoot encounter. But also I'm not out there as much as I used to be. Maybe you'll catch me on a hike, but I don't know. I'm not an avid hiker. I will go out on hikes, but you won't catch me backpacking and usually I'm in and out. Just go do a quick. You know I'm one of those kinds of guys I'm not like I got to hit six hikes in a year or I'm looking for the next biggest hike. Right, right, that's not me. You're definitely not going to catch me on top of Mount Rainier. Love the mountain, but you won't catch me up there.

Speaker 2:

So, josh from Montana, we've got to find us a station out there. Josh, find us a station. Let us know if you're out there listening. We would love to be on there. We're going to expand. We want to be on more radio stations across the country. And for expand, we want to be on more radio stations across the country.

Speaker 2:

Um so, and for those, that of our affiliates that are now taking two hours of us phenomenon we, you know, I thank you so much for taking that, uh, giving you two full hours of us phenomenon, um no, but again, yeah, make sure you use your links. Uh, if you have them, use them. Go to Go to my website, onairmariocom, and we'll have the links available to report your sightings. Maybe you have a UFO sighting. You know, that's still one of the things that I have not had either. I haven't had that, and that's my biggest thing is like even sitting down to host this you know, podcast radio show man, I wish I had some of these encounters that most of you have had out there. It's fantastic. I mean I wish that I had spent more time looking up and be like, oh, there's one, you know. So thank you for sending your text messages in 775-990-5151.

Speaker 2:

Linda from washington send us a text message. I'm assuming linda is listening. From where's linda? From seattle? I'm guessing you're listening to us on one of our flagship stations. I'm assuming you're listening to us on 570 KVI. Mario, you won't believe this, but my husband and I were driving through Mount Rainier late one night when a car suddenly stalled Out of nowhere. A glow orb hovered over the road. A glow orb hovered over the road. I swear I saw a shadowy figure moving inside of it.

Speaker 2:

Could this be connected to the UFO sightings in the area? I'm spooked just thinking about it. You know, linda, I got to ask you when was this? And we need a little more details on that. Linda, I know that you're not sharing, you're giving us enough, but we need some more context to this. When was this? When was your encounter? I got to look up a map and see, uh, what the ufo sightings were during that. Like without proper information on time and date, I can't. I mean, that's just a stab in the dark, just shooting at whatever we gotta have. If you're sending us text messages, please elaborate more time, date of when this encounter, when your encounter was, so that we can kind of correlate and cross-reference UFO sightings or Bigfoot sightings during that time period. That crucial information.

Speaker 2:

So, thank you again for sharing your stories, but if you would like us to answer, we need more information, time and date of your story so we can look back at UFO sightings websites that may have information Near Mount Rainier. Let's see what we got here. So we need a little more information and context in what you might be saying, because I can be like, oh yeah, there was that sighting back in 1947 with kennel kenneth arnold, but that's not, that's not what you're talking about. So you know, we know that's not, that's not what you're referring to. Um, so we appreciate you continuing to send your text messages our direction because, hey, why not? Well, again, this is the show about the people we're going to do. All listener, try to catch up on all our emails. You know what I mean. So thank you, linda, for sending your text message in. As we continue sharing your text messages, continue sharing your text messages, I'm not seeing anything in regards to sightings on UFO sightings near Mount Rainier. I'm looking at the UFO sightings near Mount Rainier. We'll just say 2024. See what we got to say 2024. See what we got. There were sightings back in February of 2024. Was that your time reference? Send us a text, linda, let us know when that was, when you had that encounter. We'd appreciate it as we continue to go through the text messages. You know what's interesting to me? Uh, as we kind of break things up here, um, so here are some of the headlines right now that are buzzing.

Speaker 2:

We're continuing to see tons of people sharing their stories, but what's interesting to me is there really isn't much information coming up on these JFK files. To me it feels like smoke and mirrors when they came out, march 18th 2025. You're welcome to look at the files which is available at the National Archive which was released thousands of pages, the previous classified documents related to the Kennedy assassination. While these files provide more detail about the Cold War covert operations, they don't really specifically alter the conclusion that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. It's interesting because when you look at these files, the documents have reignited debates about Oswald's activities before the assassination, including his trip to Mexico City and the alleged connection to the Soviet Union. So I mean, to me it sounds like that he's still a key player, or was he a pawn in this whole covert operation. You don't really see a lot of information leading to like the cia or some other covert like like saying that they were a part of this situation and basically saying that, well, at this point it's still leading to Lee Harvey Oswald, and I think what makes this one such a great conspiracy to me is that you have someone who was sitting on a perch well, sitting at the book depository on a floor and was able to pop off that many shots and kill and shoot the president of the United States and the governor of Texas as well.

Speaker 2:

Everyone still talks about the magic bullet theory. And then you see the umbrella man. And then, going back through all this and even going back to the um, the JFK assassination movie, with um Oliver stone stone and the remake or not the remake, uh, the revisited, uh version of it. They probably should have waited till these other files came out, but I don't know. You go back, you have this lone assassin, or was. Did he get help? And then you have this mobster nightclub owner I don't know if you allege mobster or what his full story was but then shooting the alleged assassin of the president. So the story at this point just runs wild right, because now you have no answers. Jack Ruby shoots Oswald, oswald dies, and then you have the conspiracies that just unravel and to this day, we still are looking for answers.

Speaker 2:

I think, even back then, people going back through that, having a young president pass away that way, and I think everyone was just shook, regardless of what your affiliation was, you know, political party, I think the country just mourned, you know, of having, at that point, a modern-day president assassinated. Were there steps they could have taken? Sure, but Kennedy needed that face time with everybody, not not a great, I think, poll numbers were down, president wasn't looking great and so he was like we got it, we got to open. We need, I need to be with the people, I need the people to feel me, be able to feel and touch me, and, um, you know a modern day president trying to connect with, you know, the, the people of texas, and tragic, tragic ending to a president's term in office and him passing away by, you know, an assassin, and I think that's what makes that story just continue to spiral in so many different directions. You got the umbrella man, you got, you know the, the, the secret service, turning around and shooting Kennedy, which that's probably not the case.

Speaker 2:

But what it really boils back to is was the Subruder film edited in any way, shape or form? Was it altered? Is this video in its full entire like? Was there anything changed in this video? Was it modified? I'm just curious, where was the Secret Service? Why did they not jump on back of like the moves that were going? It just seems so fast. In regards to watching the Zapruder film over and over, and even being so young as a kid watching that, your parents being fascinated by the Kennedy assassination of what happened to this young president, I think we all are that way. Right, you go back and you're like wow, even to this day, I'm like what new information do we have? And being the host here, I'm like man, man, there's just so many pages to thumb through. Is it worth it? Is there anything that's out there? That is like giving enough information to say, oh, it was levy, it was the cia of the. You know, you could, you could determine what it was and you know, slam the book and be like, okay, case closed.

Speaker 2:

But it is you know, the case is closed, or is it? That's the question that we all still wonder and ponder. Was Lee Harvey Oswald the lone gunman? Did he act alone? And I think you'll see more evidence in regards to, if you decide to read what's available on the National Archives website what actually transpired. What was his interactions, lee Harvey Alsvall, in Mexico City, with the Soviet Union, his ties? Was he someone who had become an informant for the Soviet Union? I mean, these are huge questions. Was the Soviet Union trying to take out the president of the United States and Lee Harvey Oswald was acting as the person that was going to execute the orders for, at that point, ussr.

Speaker 2:

So you thumb through the documents and you kind of look through it and you're like, to me it just seems like more fluff, more BS. What is the real distraction here? What am I really missing? So I didn't really see anything. That was stuck out to me as a sore thumb. In regards to the files, again, if you're interested in reading these files, these files are public now so we'll have a link that's available. You can go to our website onairmariocom. We'll link you to the National Archives website and you can go and read them. Just give me the Cliff Notes version. I'm not going to go through and read hundreds of hundreds of pages of documents. There's not going to be any information that's going to lead me to anything new now I don't think so.

Speaker 2:

So I to me. I'm like what's? What's the distraction here? And and that's how I look at it I'm like what are we? What am I missing right now? Why are you putting this carrot in front of me? What are you trying to distract me from? Are you a sheep or are you a lion? Remember, though, that think independently, as I always say, be sure to think independently. Don't be a sheep, be a lion. Think for yourself. Use chatGBT to think for you. I'm kidding, I'm kidding, I'm kidding as we continue the radio show. So thank you so much for hanging out with us and being a part of the radio program. You can send your text 775-990-5151.

Speaker 2:

Ah man, I know I was so excited too when those files came out. I was like oh yes, is there anything good? Is there anything good? And really there wasn't. No, nothing new.

Speaker 2:

In regards to the assassination of JFK, there was some evidence that was showing his connection with the Soviet Union, things of that nature, and that kind of puts some of the puzzle pieces together. But really, what you need is you need Lee Harvey Oswald to share his story, because his story is the truth, and you're not getting that anymore. No, you're not. I mean Jack Ruby, really put an end to that right away. What's interesting to me why was jack ruby there? You know, I know that there are stories, I mean he had. He had connections with, you know, with what was going on in there and him owning these nightclubs and working with you, you know, having close ties to police officers and whatnot. Very interesting for his interaction and how he was able just to come in there, you know, sign unseen and just be able to document, just walk right in with a gun and not have to be. You know, nowadays, I mean, of course, everyone's patting each other down making sure that there are no guns. Yeah, just so, it's patting each other down making sure that there are no guns. Yeah, it's so interesting to me when you think about it.

Speaker 2:

All right, let's continue taking our text messages For those who have sent us. Tons of text messages have come in this evening at 775-990-5151. This comes in from Alex, big fan Mario. Thank you so much, alex, for taking the time to spend it with us.

Speaker 2:

I need to share my experience. I was hiking near Roswell, new Mexico, and I came across a strange geometric pattern in the desert sand. No tracks, no explanation. A week later my camera memory card was completely corrupted. Could this have been extraterrestrial activity, Alex? Interesting that you say this, because I know that everyone talks about Roswell, new Mexico, being the home of the most paranormal activity.

Speaker 2:

But let's remember, the first sightings of UFOs came from near the 1947 Kenneth Arnold, mount Rainier encounters. And don't forget, we also had the Maury Island incident that also occurred, where we talk about J Edgar Hoover sending out gentlemen in black suits, also known as the Men in Black, and we know that there's still a group of individuals that gather in the summertime. I don't remember when the festival is. I was down in des moines, washington, having coffee, uh, down there at the uh, the marina, cute little coffee shop down there. If you ever get a chance, go down there, grab some coffee. Cute little spot. Coffee was fantastic too, um, but they had a flyer for the event. So everyone dresses up in men in black or they wear black suits and they celebrate in an annual event. The Maury Island incident.

Speaker 2:

Alex, interesting that you were in New Mexico. We're able to take these photos, man. That's a bummer that you lost them, though, man. I hope that's a bummer that you lost them, though, man. I hope that will keep us posted if you ever have these encounters again.

Speaker 2:

Man, that's crazy, though that you lost that footage on your memory card. Come on, I mean, if you're out there you wouldn't think. Are you sure you didn't have like a magnet or something in your pocket? Or maybe your memory card was near a magnet. You know, it's a bummer, bummer that you had that you lost the footage. In regards to that, I always say back it up, back it up, back it up. That's such a bummer. But yeah, I mean, unless you had a magnet in your pocket, alex, looks like to me. Maybe there was some radioactive material in the area that may have wiped out your memory card.

Speaker 2:

That being said so, if you're in the Des Moines area and you want to go to a Q Coffee shop, I think that Men in Black event is coming up sometime in the next few weeks, if not like May or June, I don't recall. I was trying to get them to come on the radio show to talk about it. Again, alex, thank you for sending your text messages our direction. Again, alex, thank you for sending your text messages our direction. It's cool to hear from those that are living outside of Washington State, where our terrestrial radio stations are at, who are podcast listeners, and I know a lot of individuals are consuming the show via podcast, which is available on any of your favorite podcasting platforms iHeart, spotify Intune you just have to search US Phenomenon with Mario Magana. That's US Phenomenon with Mario Magana. Um, all right, we'll continue on with our text messages.

Speaker 2:

Uh, daniela from Florida, oh, you're way out there, girl. Um, hi, mario, I got a creepy one for you. As a kid I lived near the Everglades and at night we'd sometimes hear unearthly howls echoing across the swamp. My grandpa claimed it was a shunk ape, but I always thought it was a local legend until I spotted glowing eyes watching me from the trees. Ooh, you know, I've never had the opportunity to go to the Everglades.

Speaker 2:

Daniela, with your story, thank you so much for sharing. I've never heard about the the skunk day. Um, we'll have to put some pictures on the website, uh, of this. Maybe put it in the podcast as well. Um, but, yeah, I've never.

Speaker 2:

Interesting that you. That's cool that you had an encounter. I mean, you're sending chills down my spine. I'll be honest with you. I'm sitting here in the studio and I'm like, ooh, no, I do not want to see this, but there's so much massive stuff going on in the Everglades, I mean you get lost out there, people gone missing, and you know they don't return. You get lost out there, people gone missing, and you know they don't return, you know.

Speaker 2:

So, daniela, thank you for sharing your story about the skunk day. If you, I mean, this is the first I've ever heard of one. I've never. Yeah, I need to get out more. You need to travel more. Right, I've done Done two trips this year Vegas, disneyland, california Adventure. Vegas was fantastic. Isn't Vegas always just an interesting place to be? When you go and look, you're like, wow, vegas is just so massive. You definitely get your steps in. All, right, let's continue taking our text messages, our messages from listeners across the country. Nate sends us a text from California. Thank you, nate. From Cali Mario, I'm not sure if this qualifies, but I lived in a haunted house. What do you mean? Does this not qualify? Duh.

Speaker 2:

Haunted house. Yes, for years in the Bay Area Every night around 3 am Well, is it really night still at 3 am, I guess overnight I'd hear footsteps pacing in the attic, even though no one was there. The strangest part, I sometimes found objects moved into perfect circles on the floor. Moved into perfect circles on the floor. Well, I would say that you are dealing with some type of paranormal activity, or you were dealing with some paranormal activity in the attic. He asked. Nate asked could I be dealing with a spirit or something else? Well, come on, nate, let's be real.

Speaker 2:

If you're hearing footsteps at 3 o'clock in the morning and it's not your dad or family member or roommate or spouse, pretty sure it's probably paranormal activity. I mean, we can get our mad wild scientist, chad and Josh, to come down there and hang out with you and see if you get any parasense, get any paranormal activity. He'll hook you up and set you up and get you all dialed in there. Do you remember that story when we had I call Chad the wild scientist, the mad scientist because Chad and I worked together in the radio business and then him creating this stuff and working with Josh? Yeah, you definitely need to.

Speaker 2:

You got to go back and see if there's still any paranormal activity going on. I'd love to hear if you have more details around this house. We got to get Chad the mad scientist out there to see what's up. I mean, you never know what's out there. I mean, how many times have you just sat somewhere and you're like, oh, I had a chill and you know, what's interesting is if you ever have a chance, if you do the underground tour in a local neighborhood, or even in Seattle, the Merchant's Cafe, which is closed right now.

Speaker 2:

I don't know if they're going to reopen the cafe or not when you go downstairs, because that's where the fire happened. During that time period they just built above. There is some paranormal activity going on down there. It's very eerie, it's very damp, it's very cold down there, but it's like on another world. It's like you're stepping back in time to the 1900s. It is the most interesting experience you could ever have, and eerie for sure.

Speaker 2:

Um, as we get close to wrapping things up here from the pacific northwest, uh, we'll take, uh, one more, maybe two, two more emails and text messages. Sophia from wow, from Vermont, wow, way over there. Thank you for listening via the podcast. It's a pleasure. Thank you so much.

Speaker 2:

I just always wondered where everyone was coming from. Hey, mario, I got a Bigfoot story for you. I was hiking around Green Mountain when I stumbled on a primitive structure made of branches and leaves. It felt like a shelter. As I backed away, I caught a glimpse of a massive, shaggy creature standing perfectly still in the distance. It was watching me and I'll never forget the intensity of that moment. Okay, sophia, and this isn't my daughter from vermont.

Speaker 2:

Um, holy heck and I know that we've had tom seawood on the show you got to remember that if you have a parent, if you have an experience with an encounter with a Sasquatch, they are very smart, according to Tom Seawood, and how they are able to. They see you and smell you before you see them. You always you got to be, you got to be alert, you got to be ready, because you just never know what's. You know what's going to happen and I know that in past times we've had experiences where we've had individuals, really avid hunters, out here in the Pacific Northwest hunting and coming across Bigfoots and coming across a Sasquatch. And hearing their stories of them sharing what they've come across and encountered have made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. When you hear a grown, adult, big, burly, dude, avid hunter have a shake in his voice as he tells, this story makes you, makes you go damn, that's, that's raw, that's real and you don't question it. You just you're like damn, that that guy had an encounter and he's like I know it wasn't a bear, this was way bigger than that. So, um, according to tom, you're lucky, this wasn't one of those sasquatches that have gone rogue. Where you could have been, a turd Would have eaten you up.

Speaker 2:

I always wonder, like at the national parks, as we get close to wrapping things up in the Pacific Northwest, in the national parks and this is what is intriguing to me about people that have gone missing, like, where are their hiking gear? Where is their gear at? You know, like the Sam DuBose I mean, this one comes to my mind all the time, and I talk about it all the time because, according to his family, he was an avid hiker, um, well prepared, um, he was doing the mother mountain malwich trail, which you can't get to right now because of the bridge, uh, out of service now indefinitely. So if you're an avid hiker and you're out there, you're definitely not going to see the bridge, you're not going to get there, um, but where did he go? Where did his stuff go? That's the intriguing piece to me. And not to get a lot of answers, you you're not getting a lot of cooperation from, um, the parks department, you know, you know you're not getting, uh, the national park to give any detailed information. They're like, yeah, they'll, they'll do a press release. And they're like, yeah, that's it. But what happened to Sam. Did he fall into a you know? Did he fall in a crack, a crevasse? Did he fall in that? And he, he left. Why was his water bottle found on the trail and nothing else? Why was this water bottle found on the trail and nothing else? Are there feral people living in the national parks that no one's talking about? These are things that make me question when I go up Someone who is not an avid hiker I'm a day tripper right, you go up there, you take a water bottle, just a small one.

Speaker 2:

You, you got your walking shoes on, you got your brooks or whatever, and you go up. Right, you're not, you don't have, you don't have the proper gear to be up there. You go up there and, especially at mount rainier national park, you're doing most of your driving, you park and then you walk on the cement path trails and then it becomes dirt, right, and you're looking at the majestic volcano. Because that's what it is beautiful, right, and you start thinking at least I do, maybe you don't, maybe you do as well you're like, damn god, it's beautiful up here, you know. You're like, wow, the power of this volcano, same with same with mount saint helens. You go down there and you're like, wow, this is impressive what mother nature can do, right, but in mount rainier, near mount adams, are there people that are living in the forest, that are feral people? I mean, it's a great question. The Parks Department, the National Parks, aren't going to tell you any information in regards to that. And if they're living out there, what are they doing? Are they the ones taking these people?

Speaker 2:

You know, why has this stuff gone missing? You would think that you would find this in front. You would find like the tent or his backpack. Or if he fell in there, why would you find his water bottle and nothing else Interesting to me? And maybe that's a clue, maybe they were like here, we'll leave the water bottle here as evidence. Oh, we found him. He didn't find anything. You just found the water bottle and that's it. It's a canteen or whatever. It was Not much to be found. You know, that kind of stuff makes me wonder and think and make me appreciate like, hey, again it is Mother Nature, you're going to come across stuff. You know, if you're going up there to go watch a beautiful sunset, yeah, you got to be careful, you got to be prepared, do?

Speaker 2:

you have enough fuel? Do you have enough, you know, for an overnight stay? Do you have the proper gear? Do you have a sleeping bag, water, you know, things of that nature, food, some extra food in case you get stuck, you know? So, again, what's going on in the national parks? You know these are things to think about. But again, sophia man, what an encounter that you had, kind of eerie. And again, be careful when you're out there. If you're out there hiking, make sure you take proper protection bear spray, things of that nature. Understand what's going on on these trails, watch the weather apps, use them. If you're doing some serious, avid hiking, make sure you have the proper gear and um and beacons. If you're going to do, uh, snowshoeing, things of that nature.
