Emma takes Emma's Edition Full-Time!
Show Notes

Last month, Emma announced that she decided to take content creation full-time. In this episode, Emma answers:

1. What led you to decide that it was time to jump into content creation?
2. Did you apply for any jobs or did you know that you should just focus on Emma’s Edition?

She also shares how she was financially, emotionally, and mentally ready to take Emma’s Edition full-time:

1. She had met my 2019 financial goal of building a 6-month emergency fund

Her side hustle (blogging) had allowed her to turn my 3-month emergency fund into a 6-month emergency fund.

When she received that lay-off noticed, she knew she was going to be financially unaffected. she had automated my savings and she had a financial safety net to fall back on if needed.

2. She had paid down my student debt (I have $8,600 to go woo!)

She graduated in 2014 with $30,000+ in student loans. In the beginning of 2019, she still had $19,000+ of student debit I needed to pay off.

She paid off just around $10,400 over the last year and half.  She's confident that she can still work towards paying down my student debt – even with just her blogging income.
