The Legend of Aeneas
Show Notes

The founder of the Latin peoples and an ancestor of Julius Caesar, Aeneas was a legendary Greco-Roman figure who embarked on an epic journey from Troy to Italy in search of a new home after the destruction of his old one. Aeneas' journey marks the beginning of what the Romans believed to be their origin story and thus The Roman Republic Podcast will begin with his saga.
