Rob helps people suffering from substance abuse to find freedom from addiction and incarceration. On this episode he shares a powerful testimony – he’s been through the ringer and keeps bouncing back.

His rap sheet includes alcohol, drug addiction, gambling, along with sex and porn. Rob is an author, a public speaker, he engages in Professional Interventions and Recovery Coaching and is the host of two podcasts.

Rob’s drinking began at age 14, leading to some very dark times in his life. The climax of his drinking happened on June 7, 2001, with a suicide attempt that was interrupted by his compassionate dog – Jake.  In year eleven of his sobriety journey, Rob had an emotional nervous breakdown which led to a thirteen-year prison sentence, to which he was released in 10.5 months to a halfway house where he started to rebuild his life, along with his two children and wife who decided to remain married to Rob after the breakdown.

You will hear him tout that his deep roots of his Christian Faith took him through the storms and helped overcome so many obstacles.
