Painful Endings

Morning Mantra: "New beginnings are often disguised as painful endings."

People have different wants, needs, and opinions. If you try to please everyone, you're going to run into a problem. It's impossible to do it honestly.

You have to decide what your own wants, needs, and beliefs are. Act kindly and with consideration, but if people disagree with your choices, that doesn't mean you  immediately change your choices.  Maybe change the dynamics of your relationship.

They may be angry or disappointed, and they may even decide to leave your life entirely. But if that happens, it means they were no longer aligned with who you are. You both should be free to be alone or seek out others who you are more aligned with rather than trying to change each other to suit the relationship.

Not all endings are wrong. Some are even overdue.
