The Power of Love

Morning Mantra: “When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace."

What a solemn day it is here in America.
Yesterday's act of horrific brutality and the anniversary of another. A day of souls lost to violence in the search of power.

Occasionally I have to remind myself that everything is not about me and my story.  It's easy to stay hyper-focused on your own life.  To stay wrapped up in your own bubble because the world out there is too scary and sad.  But it's good to remember that we are ALL in this together. We are ALL out here trying. We are ALL dealing with something. 
And sometimes life is simply hard. 
For me AND for others.

So instead of staying wrapped up in my own bubble, I need to give grace. Smile more. Let things go more often. Live within kindness every. single. day.
I’ve decided that living in the image of love means changing the focus off myself and caring deeply about others.

Living in the power of love means offering a welcoming light to others to help them in their times of darkness.  To show people that love can and will win in the end,
