Last week we started a series that will be based on a theme from a book I finished reading two weeks ago. That book was showing me signs that were telling me it was time to act on something that I was considering doing. The title of the book is Change Your World. It is by John Maxwell, the man who I did a 6-month series of quotes by last year, along with Rob Hoskins, the founder and director of OneHope.
I originally figured that I would do last week's episode on the entire book and then move on to a new theme this week. However, I started doing what Maxwell has suggested in other books - taking notes and highlighting important passages and quotes in books. I have so many great quotes that I highlighted while I was reading it that I started transferring to a document that I realized there is no way I can do the ideas and quotes in the book justice in one episode. So this is going to be a 10-part series on quotes in the book - one for each chapter and then a final episode to wrap it up. Last week, our first episode was "We Can't Wait for Change."
This week we move to Chapter 2 - "Be a Catalyst for Change." This one is a more individual-focused episode because so many of the quotes speak directly to you, telling you that you need to be the one to create the change you seek.
I am so excited to be doing this series, and I know you're going to love it. This book has the potential to be the most life-changing book you will read. I know it is starting to work that way on me. I HIGHLY recommend you get the book, Change Your World, by John Maxwell & Rob Hoskins. You will be so glad you did.
