Over a month ago we started a series based on a theme from a book I finished reading a couple of weeks before that. That book was showing me signs that were telling me it was time to act on something that I was considering doing. The title of the book is Change Your World by John Maxwell and Rob Hoskins.
I originally figured that I would do the first week's episode on the entire book and then move on to a new theme. However, I started doing what Maxwell has suggested in other books - taking notes and highlighting important passages and quotes in books. I have so many great quotes that I highlighted while I was reading it that I started transferring to a document, but I realized there is no way I can do the ideas and quotes in the book justice in one episode. So this is going to be a 10-part series on quotes in the book - one for each chapter and then a final episode to wrap it up.
This week we move to Chapter 7 - "What Gets Done Gets Measured." Notice they have switched the fairly famous Peter Drucker quote around for the title of the chapter. You'll hear why in the episode. Some really good ideas in here about the power of making sure you track and measure the transformational concepts you are trying to achieve.
