Hello, Hello, and welcome back to the show. My name is James Dunn and I am your host today for the Unsure to Unstoppable podcast as I always am. I'm excited to be here with you today, and maybe even a little bit more excited about today, because we're going to try something new.
You know, if there's one thing I like to promote on here more so than maybe anything else. It's just getting out there trying things, seeing what works, seeing what doesn't work. It's the only way you're going to get ahead in life. It's the only way you're going to ever get to anything that you truly desire that you truly want is embracing failure, embracing the unknown just again trying things because you never know what's going to work and what's not going to work.
and once you try something, then maybe it didn't work the way that you thought it would. But at least you've got some better understanding of what did work, what didn't work, and maybe what you can try next. And then you try something different. And then you try something different. You try something different. You're getting closer and closer and closer to whatever it was that you were originally trying to get to. It's the only way it's gonna happen. So embracing failure. And I don't mean failure as a bad thing
growing up in school. You know, we're taught that failure is the worst thing that could possibly happen. The reality is failure is a part of life, no matter what it is. Every single great invention, every single thing that's been built in this world, in this existence of ours has had some failing points along the way. Nothing great was ever done the very 1st time. Boom perfect! It just didn't happen that way.
So embracing failure, embracing trying new things. And that's what we're going to try today. Today, I'm going to try something new here with the podcast and with the format of it a little bit. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to do some what I call hot topics. Now this, the name on. That may change because it's something I literally came up with right before we started the episode. But I'm going to call it hot topics, at least for right now. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to go over 3 things, not necessarily all hot topics in terms of the.
you know, pulse of society, or trending on social media, or anything like that, but just 3 topics that are hot in my brain because they've just kind of popped up through the course of the last week or 2 some things that I've experienced or seen and made me think a little bit, and I've had some thoughts on it. And they're not necessarily things that at least at the moment felt like.
well, I can make a full podcast episode out of this didn't really feel that, and they may turn out to be extended conversations, but probably not. But things that I thought. You know.
this is what I got into doing a podcast for because I had that fluidity. I had that freedom just come on here and talk about what I want when I want and not have to worry about condensing it into this perfect little format to go on social media, or it have to meet any kind of certain criteria. I can just kind of talk about what's important
or what I think is valuable, and maybe just throw a few different nuggets here together. That you know each one of them is going to be very valuable, but you combine them all together, and even though they're not tied to each other, necessarily, you combine them all together, and you've got some really great value out of this episode. So without further ado, let me go ahead and kick off this hot topics session
with my very 1st one. I'm going to talk about the goonies. Goonies never die. Okay.
you know, if you're in my generation, you know the goonies. It's an all time classic, you know, one of those just amazing, incredible movies just here. Recently I got to take my daughter to watch it for the very 1st time on the big screen. We're not really sure if she's seen it before, but if she had seen it before, she didn't remember it, at least she didn't
before we saw it. She didn't say anything afterwards that oh, yeah, I remember seeing that movie. But she and I got the chance to go watch it on the big screen, which was amazing. It's 1 of those movies that just holds up. Yes, it's Campy. Yes, it's goofy. But I just I love it from the perspective of
Dick Donner and Steven Spielberg, the guys behind that movie. They treated kids like adults, you know, there's a few different shits, you know, made, you know, comments made in the movie. And there's dead people literally like a guy with a bullet, you know, wound in the forehead. Things like that. They didn't try and
hide things from kids back in the days, you know, that was back when Pg. Was what is now Pg-thirteen. There's a lot of stuff like that that's great in those movies that would definitely rank. You know them into. Pg. 13.
But I digress. I'm getting sidetracked here on how much I love the goonies, which is, it's just an incredible movie.
I don't need to tell you that you already know that.
But one thing really stood out specifically
as I was walking, watching the movie last night because it had been quite a while since I'd seen it.
And what it was is like really the whole premise of the goonies, at least.
What spurs the whole
treasure hunt, to begin with, is at the very beginning of the movie. You know, the boys are sitting there, and they're talking about their house is getting to get sold, and they're going to have to move out of town. All the friends are gonna have to split up because the the rich.
the rich man in town he's going to buy up all this, I guess. Shorefront property. They're going to turn it into a golf course or something. I never caught exactly what was happening, but I do know that the rich person in town. You know he was going to buy up this land and kick everybody out so they could develop for whatever his financial gains, you know happened to be
so. This is what led the goonies to get together to try and go on the treasure hunt so that way they could make the money so that way the dead. Didn't you know the dad to pay off this guy? And he didn't have to sell the land and all these things. And what really struck me last night. This is something else that had been kind of brought up by something else I had thought of here very recently.
But how much as a kid. So that movie came out in the early eighties, I was born in 71. So I was. Probably I don't know why, I'm thinking 83, maybe it was 84, 85. But somewhere in that range is when that movie came out
and I'm leaning a little bit earlier on that on that range, but in anywhere somewhere in that range 1213, 1415, 1011. That's where I was at when that movie came out.
and that was some of my youngest exposure to
rich people. That was the portrayal of almost every rich person that I could think of, because, as I dug back a little bit further, this was something that was on my mind last week, and that's probably why it stood out so much
when I was watching the movie was, I was thinking about some of my earliest childhood experiences. What were some of the things that influenced me from a very, very, very young age.
and when I thought back about it, one of my favorite TV shows growing up was dukes of hazard. So again, I'm going to kind of date myself. Here I was born 71 dukes of hazard, I think, was on 76, through 79, 80 something like that. But again from a very young age. You know. I'm watching this TV show. Just good old boys, never meaning no harm. That's the dukes, man, that's what they did.
But if you watch that show, if you know anything about the show.
one of the other big characters, the evil character in that show was Boss Hogg. He was the richest man in town, and he would do anything and everything he could to lie, cheat, steal, to get money, that's all he cared about was money, money, money, money, and it didn't matter what he had to do. He was going to get more money, and he would put the Duke boys, you know, these good old boys.
He would do everything he could to put them into jail to keep them away from him, you know, because they were trying to stop him from doing all of his dastardly deeds and all these things.
So
I share these with you because I want you, or I'm going to ask you to take a look at your history. Think back on your life from your very earliest influences. What were the TV shows that you were watching. What were the movies that you were watching? And maybe even just you know. What were you exposed to from a very young age in your family and your surroundings in your environment, in your community?
Or at least what was it portrayed like?
For you know what rich people were like? Were they portrayed as very generous, very caring very loving people, or were they portrayed as evil out to get all your money? You know rich people are all crooks. That's something that I was taught, and no fault to my parents. That's just kind of what
they had. I don't know if they'd seen it in the world, or if they'd just seen it on TV. And you know they were, you know.
White Collar family, not white collar, blue collar family. You know my dad was a coal miner.
Worked hard for a living, you know, broke his back, you know. Kind of
tough, tough labor kind of job
and so my family was just brought up in this mentality that rich people were all crooks. They're always out to get your money. And that's what I saw on television. And so that's what I grew up to believe for the longest time. And even still to this day, I will catch myself having some of those similar thoughts. If I see somebody driving around, you know, pull out in front of me in a Bmw. Or
you know, Mercedes, or whatever we tend to think of when we're thinking of generally more of the rich person's car. So you know, more so than if you see somebody in a Honda, or a Toyota, or a Nissan, or Ford, or Chevy, or any of those you know. If you see somebody in those more quote unquote elite cars like a jaguar or something like that. If somebody pulls out in front of me, then I'm automatically thinking, oh, you fucking rich, Dick! What's your fucking problem?
You know, I don't stop to think I do immediately, right after that, because I've learned to catch myself. But that knee jerk reaction, that default reaction is this is a rich, fucking prick.
and they're just going to come in front of me because they don't have any care about me. The common man, the good old boy, never meaning no harm, you know. I'm just like the Duke boys.
So look at your life and think back to the you know the influences that you had, and
how rich people were portrayed in your life, and ask yourself, was it something that represents what you truly believe now, or what you would like to believe about rich people, you know. There's a lot of stuff going on right now with the inauguration of Donald Trump which is going to segue very nicely into one of my next topics
but him surrounding himself with Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg. All these guys were at his inauguration, and people are, you know, saying, Oh, look at these Billionaires Club. You know the
just really trashing this whole idea of him surrounding himself with billionaires, you know, and trump is a billionaire himself.
but it just drives me insane. Because who else would you want this guy to surround himself with poor people and no offense, you know. I hope you well fuck you if you take advantage of that. But I mean, do you want him to surround himself completely with homeless people who have no ideas and no offense. But I mean in this term, in this sense, no offense, but can't give him any great ideas on how to solve any world problems? Or do you want the people there who are literally solving some of the world's biggest problems and have the capacity to do that.
Now you can get on them all you fucking want about how much money they've made. But these people have made money by helping people on some level. Now do they go off and do their own fucked up crazy shit and things that's kind of questionable from time to time. Fuck, yeah. But every goddamn one of us does that on some level.
So get off your fucking little soapbox and your high and mighty horse, and join us here with the real people and understand that I want my world leaders to surround themselves with people who are of means, who have the capability to think and make actual change in the world.
So yeah, I just kind of ranted on there, but that it's kind of the shift in my mindset which used to be where I would think
if you're surrounding yourself with rich people all the time, that's a bad thing. All these pricks, all these rich motherfuckers who don't care about anybody except themselves.
Again, there are people out there like that. But if you look at the contributions that so many of these rich people make to the world and don't even look at the elite elite elite, because those you know, those guys I just mentioned are the 1% of the 1% of the 1% of this world. But look at the rich people that you personally know. If you don't know any
we'll expand your network number 1, 1st and foremost. But look at the people that you know, who do have a solid amount of money, who are living a great life. How generous are they, or are they very
like you saw portrayed in the movies? Are they really just cash hungry and always just being real jerks for me personally, you know, once I got to spend time around people who were millionaires and multimillionaires and see them operate in real life and not just on television. And in movies I found out they were some of the most generous, caring, loving, supportive people I have ever known.
because they've been there.
They they've reached that pinnacle of some sort in their life, you know, and gotten to a point that they're very excited. They're very happy about, and they love to see other people do that, too, and they're always trying to get back. At least that has been my personal experience. So I hope you have experienced that as well, if not again, get out there expansion network, because I almost guarantee you. If you get in the right circles. Well, as a matter of fact, I will guarantee you if you get in the right circles. That's what you're going to find, because that's what I found over and over.
So that's hot topic number one, really dig into your past and look at
what influences you've had in terms of TV music. And in your surroundings regarding bridge people.
hot topic number 2. We're going to talk about the Donald Trump inauguration and gosh, darn it! When I sat down here, you know what I'm going to see if I can pull it up here on my phone while I'm kind of giving the backstory to it. So Donald Trump was inaugurated. I didn't even get my!
I didn't even bring my phone. Oh, well, so Donald trump! But I I mean I got one here. But it's not the one I was looking for donald trump was inaugurated this weekend or this week, and
during or after his inauguration I happen to be scrolling the webs, the interwebs.
and looking at some of the headlines coming out from it. And is it still on there? No dang can I get to my archive
But I went to
went to the Internet and was looking at some of the archive. Gosh, dang it! I can't talk and do this at the same time. There we go, archive.
Yeah, show me. Come on, man, show me. Show me. Show me. Show me
the need yesterday. There it is. Okay, all right. If we were to look at, you know, going on the Internet and looking around just some of the
some of the headlines around the inauguration. I kind of wanted to see what the world was saying about it. See how it's being reported. And I happened to see one
that
the headline was Trump Inauguration live updates, trump paints dark picture or trump paints dark portrait to send troops to border. So I'm like
what I don't. I mean, I've been following Trump long enough to know that that's not likely what he was talking about. But I was just curious. That kind of click baited me a little bit because I'm like, Okay, I got to see what he has to say about this, so I click on it. And as I scroll through the article.
little I'm gonna read you what he says.
Trump's opening line trump! Began the inaugural remarks with the line, he said repeatedly. Since his election the Golden Age of America begins right now, he said, our sovereignty will be reclaimed, our safety will be restored, and the scales of justice will be rebalanced.
Does that sound like a dark, fucking picture to you, or does that sound like, hey?
The world has been a little crazy. But we're bringing that shit back, man. We're gonna fucking make America great again.
and it really annoyed me.
Because
and I don't know why I let it annoy me, because I know better. I know this is what the media does they do all this? Click, Biddy Bullshit. They put all these headlines on there, trying to get people
to click on these articles and read them, and then put them into this fear. Mentality put them into this scared mode, because they know they have to have a boogeyman. They know that the more they portray trump, or any politician, for that matter, to be this scary, evil, warmongering, terrible person. The more you're going to tune in, because
we respond more to fear than we do to happiness or joy, as much as we would love to pretend that we like to go more towards happy news or happy things in our life. What draws us more often is fear. And the reason that is because, as humans.
our survival depends on looking for things that are potentially going to hurt us, that are going to kill us, that are going to
just make life miserable for us. So what we're doing constantly is scanning our environment for things of that nature. And when they have these click baity titles that say that trump is talking negative and that he's painting this dark picture, and he's going to send troops over here, and he's going to do this, and it's going to be war for us, whatever that makes us tune into that. So
the second area of your life, I want to just ask you to be very conscious of what
I don't even say social media. But you do see that in there, to some degree, but more so on the news sources. I myself tune out 99% of news sources like, you know these websites, things like that. Television news I can't fucking tell you how
rarely I ever watch that. It's only if there's 1 very specific event that is massive in this particular moment that I feel like I need to know about. But I do not sit in front of a television or listen to a radio
broadcast of just today's news. Every day. I have 0 interest in that, because all they're trying to do is scare us. And and into this herd mentality into being little sheep and following them and listening to their narrative of what life's all about. It's a bunch of bullshit.
Life is what we choose it to be. Life is what we choose to focus on. And in my world I'm not being Pollyanna all pie in the sky, you know, dreamland all the fucking time. But in my world I focus on the positive things, the things that I have control over, the things that
I know that we can do something about not all this bullshit that they want to just constantly RAM down our throats of. Oh, this is terrible! And this is terrible! And this is why this person's bad, and this is why this person's bad, and I'm not gonna lie, you know, when they paint Biden to be a total dipshit. I'm all for it, man, you know this is just my personal political perspective. Right now I definitely lean more
right wing than I do left wing. I try and stay as much towards the middle as possible, but I do end up leaning a little more towards the conservative side of things.
just because I feel
more so specifically right now with Donald Trump. And he's a he's a polarizing figure, obviously, but more so right now, because he's fucking, being real with people. At least it feels like it to me. He's he's trying to be real, whereas we've been. Had the wool pulled over our eyes, or at least they tried to pull it over our eyes for the last 4 years of saying this was happening and just doing other things, and then the whole decline of Joe Biden. And
what was all going on with that whole mess of who's running the actual government? Because it sure as the fuck wasn't Joe biden all these things going on.
Yeah, it. I don't want to get down on that ramp, but
choose for yourself what you choose to believe. You decide for yourself what you choose to believe, and be very, very conscious. It doesn't mean you can't go look at these websites doesn't mean you can't go read the stories. But ask yourself, what's the
what's their agenda? What is it that they're hoping to get across to you by writing these stories and also recognize that we don't live in a world of news anymore. We live in a world of opinion. We like to believe that if we turn on the ABC. News, Nbc. News, Cbs news, fox news, whatever that it's news. No.
it's more opinion than it is news. We have long since gone past the days, and you know, years of actual news where it was just these are the facts.
Now, we've rolled into opinion. If you read almost any article online, you can very clearly. If you're paying attention to it, you can very clearly hear an opinion being given. You can hear how people will steer a conversation in a specific direction, saying, This is bad, or this is why this person's wrong, whatever that's not a news person's job. A news person's job just says
this happened today. So if troops landed in Afghanistan troops landed in Afghanistan today, this is how many showed up. This is what they did boom end of fucking story. It's not
well, this is going to help this. And this is going to help this. And this is bad because of this or this is wrong, because of that. Anytime you start hearing something is right, something is wrong, or whatever
that's when it starts becoming an opinion, because everybody has their own opinion. Everybody has their own perspective of why, this is right. And you're gonna have other people to have this opinion. Why, this is wrong.
We've all got our own opinions. So be very conscious when you're reading any of this stuff, to take it with a grain of salt, and at least
back yourself up and think about. What is this person's agenda? What is it that they're trying to get me to believe? And if you feel like you connect with that story, and you feel like you connect with that narrative. Hey, man, that's all good. But if you
don't believe that if you in your heart of hearts don't believe that. Then step back and disavow that as the truth, just disconnect from that. Don't allow it to push you into believing or feeling like something is a certain way, when when you don't necessarily believe that, because again.
there's always a there's always an agenda, even me, even as I'm sitting here having a conversation with you right now, today I'm having an agenda. I want to help you improve your life. I want to give you my perspective of what I think will help you improve your life, and you may agree with that, and you may not agree with that. So even as you're listening to me, if you're listening to something that I say, and you're like James. That sounds like a bunch of bullshit. Well.
look at it for what it is. If you feel like it's truly bullshit, and you don't wanna connect with it
no fucking harm, no, foul man. I'm not going to be offended. You go live your life. You do, you? Boo! That's 1 of my fucking favorite sayings, is you? Do you Boo? Because I'm just going to share my opinion with you? What my experience has been, and what I am learning, and what I am seeing in this world, and how I am evolving. And if you connect goodness, if you connect with that awesome. If you don't again, I'm perfectly fine. With that
you go to you all right. There's rant number 2 on my hot topics list today is
becoming very aware of the narrative that news sources are
trying to feed you and deciding for yourself what you believe, what you don't believe and what you can listen to, and being aware that most news out there today is an opinion, not fact.
And then, last, but not least, on my hot topics this week. I want to talk about a TV show that I actually did an episode on a while back. It's a i think it's a pretty cool show. It's kind of goofy, a little bit dumb, I think, on some levels, because you can't put yourself into the true reality of what it is that they're trying to portray on the TV show. But it's called Special forces. World's toughest test.
and we're now into Season 3. It's on Fox. I don't know what day it actually airs, because I just watched the reruns of it on
on Hulu long after they're over with. But you know what they do is they bring in a group of celebrities. I think they're they start with 16 each season. I know right now. This season they started with 16. And sometimes it's like sports figures. Sometimes it's actors, sometimes it's social media people. It's just whoever celebrity, you know, quote unquote celebrities that they bring in and what they try and do for a week to 10 days, 2 weeks, whatever, I think has changed over the seasons.
but they will. They will run them run them through simulated special force.
Man, I can't spit it out right now. They will run them through simulated special forces trainings, you know, so they'll run them through literally like running them, you know, for miles and miles and miles, and making them jump into water and climb walls and jump off of buildings and do all kinds of crazy shit. I mean, it actually looks pretty cool
well, hardcore and cool. Almost feels like a tough mudder. That's what these guys are doing, but they're pushing them through day after day after day after day after day after day, and like super hard conditions. So
it's a really neat concept. I love the idea of it because there's so much of this. Yes, obviously, there's a physical element to it. But there's so much of this that is mental. How far can I go? How far can these people push themselves beyond what they think they're truly capable of? That's what this show is all about, and what I love.
as with many shows where you have these hard nose, hard edged people, you know, we're pushing people to their limits is when they get them pulled off to the side, and they have a chance to talk to these people, one on one. They're almost always
trying to help them see what these people are capable of, and giving them some hope, and giving them that little micro shift in their mindset, that if they will adopt it that it will bring them dramatic results, dramatic changes in their lives. And so I love when this happens and you see this in real time, where they're sharing with these people.
Do this focus on this. Don't allow this to stop you because you've got something special in you. That's what they're telling these people when they get them off of the course, and you know, behind closed doors.
But I want to talk about well.
I won't say the name. I won't say the name just in case you happen to decide to go watch this season. If you haven't watched in the past, and if you decide to go watch this season. I don't want to spoil it for you. But there! There was one of the contestants who was on there. I had a cool connection, I mean.
of the contestants. This was one of my top 3 favorite contestants right out of the gates. I'm like, I recognize this person history of knowing about this person's work and really enjoyed it, at least parts of it. And so I'm like, Yeah, man, that's awesome that they're on here. This is going to be cool, and was really kind of looking forward to watching them go through. This process didn't necessarily have a ton of high hopes on how far they would get, because you just never know with people.
But I, at least was looking forward to getting to see them on this show for a little while.
and what ended up happening? This person bowed out before the end of the very 1st day.
I was so fucking annoyed. I was so pissed, because here, here's the thing for me. When you signed up for this show, it's literally called special forces. World's toughest test. You knew it was going to be fucking hard. You knew it was going to be a challenge. You knew you're going to be pushed to your limits. But this person, through the course of the day, started whining and crying, and like, Oh, this hurts! And oh, that hurts! And blah blah blah! And it got to the end of the day, and they ended up
going into the medical tent. They asked to go see the person in the medical tent, because they have, you know, medical officers there on sites, because obviously people could get hurt and do get hurt.
But this person asked to go see the medical officer went in there, start talking about my back hurts and all my legs hurt, and this hurts, and blah blah, and then just started saying, Hey, listen, man, I got another gig lined up right after this one, and the one condition for that one is I can't get hurt here.
So they they didn't
officially bow out, because what you do have the opportunity to do on this show is you have the opportunity to basically, I think, is voluntarily withdraw
something like that. I forget the exact terminology is, but you voluntarily withdraw you. You pull yourself out of the competition versus them, kicking you out because, depending on. If you do something totally shitty. They can kick you out, could be like a medical discharge. They can also do that, too, if you get hurt, and you can't keep competing. Quote unquote, you know, in this competition, because it's not necessarily like
competing against one another, but it's competing against yourself, but you can get discharged that way. But they didn't voluntarily withdraw, but they leaned so heavily into the medical officer that the medical officer then ended up going to
the instructors and pretty much tell them what happened. And then so the instructors went, pulled this person out. Get the fuck out, man.
get the fuck out, Babe. It's not happening. This is just not your day. We're not gonna let you stick around anymore, you know. So
it just disappointed me. Because again, you know, life is going to be a challenge sometimes, and when you know life is going to be a challenge, you've got to.
You just got to trust yourself. You got to keep pushing and keep pushing and keep pushing, and everybody has to know their limits. But in a situation like this, so for me.
how I want to relate this to you, maybe. How I want you to relate this to your life is, think about your life.
and and think of a situation that you want to have a certain result. You want to have some success in.
When you step into this arena.
when you step into that field of play or field of battle, probably more accurately describes it. When you step onto that field, you know there's going to be some hard, fucking days, you know. There's going to be some challenges you come up against, and if you're going to fucking, drop out on day one
just fucking, stop right now. Don't even waste your fucking time, because it's just pointless. You have got to have that commitment. You got to have that resolve. You've got to have that determination that no matter what the fuck happens, I'm going to get through this one way or another. I'm getting to the end result that I'm looking for. Now you can find a million different ways to get there. It's always the. The thing we always like to say is, you know.
don't focus on the how, just focus on the what. So focus on what you're trying to get to. Don't worry about how you're going to get there, because whatever plan you lay out. To begin with.
it's not going to end up being that way. You're going to go down a million different directions. And you thought you might have initially, when you started this plan unless you're following a very specific plan that was laid out by somebody else who's done this exact same scenario. And it's a controlled environment. Then you're going to do. Step Abcdef. G. But otherwise you're going to still have to navigate your own shit, and you're going to have to navigate your own way through these woods to get you to that other side, so
don't even fucking start. If you're not willing to make that commitment right out of the fucking gates.
One of the biggest ways to help you with that. This is something that just popped up in my head, and something I think about. As I was considering the subject is, what is your why? And this is where you know I when I started this rant on this particular subject, I said, you can't really
simulate what these people truly go through in the special forces because they are there because they want to be in. You know, a special forces unit. They want to serve their country. These are military people who understand the commitment. They understand that they might ultimately sacrifice their life. Being a part of this particular group, whereas these celebrities.
they're just trying to get a little bit of extra air time. They want to get on TV a little bit more. They want to get some notoriety. They haven't been around for a little while, so they want people to see them again. And so they're not committed to this. And this is what happened with this particular contestant. This person that was on the show was they?
They weren't fucking committed. Man. There! There's like in my mind. It was, Hey, I just want to get on TV for a little while. Have some people see me, you know.
because maybe been a little bit since people had seen anybody seen this person on there
and or anywhere else. Really. So they're like, Hey, let me just get some air time. That's what I'm here for. So the minute it got fucking hard, boom, they were out. Figure out what your why is figure out? What matters to you the most. Because
when you have
seriously, seriously strong, why, when you have something you are fully committed to, it doesn't matter how hard the days get doesn't matter what challenges come up. You're going to fight your way through that you're going to keep pushing until you get to that other side until you get to that goal, because that is what you're striving for, and no matter how hard the challenges get, you can keep looking ahead, saying, You know what this is important to me. This is something that means something to me, and I know
that what I'm looking for is on the other side of that little bit of pain. This pain is temporary, but I know if I give up, that's forever. So I've got to keep going. So figure out what your why is, you know there's an old saying. It says your why will make you cry now. Maybe it will. Maybe it won't but find something that means so much to you
that you are willing to run through a fucking brick wall for it. You're willing to do, no matter what you have to do. This legal.
moral, ethical, and isn't intentionally hurting your body. But you're willing to do anything inside of those inside that realm of
context. You're willing to do anything to make that happen.
Okay, so that's where I'll wrap that one up. My final hot topic for the day is, know your why be committed to your goal and give up on how it's going to happen. But understand that getting to where you want to go is the main thing. You'll you'll figure it out if you commit to that goal so quick, quick recap of the 3 hot topics for today is.
look at the earliest influences you had in your life about rich people, and ask yourself if you truly still believe what you thought then, or if maybe something needs to change, see if there's a better perspective that you can take in your life. Secondly.
look at the media that you're consuming. Look at the news sources and what they're pushing out there in the world and ask yourself, what is the narrative they're trying to push? What is their agenda? What is it they're trying to get me to believe? And if I support that agenda, awesome, great, if you don't
really start to question it, but always be conscious of what these people are trying to get you to believe as you're consuming whatever it is that you're consuming. And last, but not least, know your why know what's important to you. Understand that there's going to be challenges and understand it's gonna be tough days. But if you have a why the strong. And if you have a belief that you know this is so important to me, it doesn't matter what happens. I'm going to get through it. You will get through it all right.
Hope you enjoyed this new idea. I actually kind of went quite a while. I don't know how long we're at here on Runtime, but I really enjoyed this, and hopefully you enjoyed it as well, because I definitely feel like there's going to be a recurring theme coming up here in some coming episodes. So until then, my friend, get out there. Have a fucking day, and I'll see you next time.
