Pursuing some news stories is more difficult when they involve private businesses or private schools.

For example, while rumors of allegations of what Ursuline officials called "inappropriate behavior" involving students during the June football trip have been circulating, they are not reportable. Sometimes, unanswered questions from an official when serious allegations arise are the story.
