Breaking Soul Ties
Hello, hello. Soul tie broken, the cord is cut. I would like to set the round table of cutting a soul tie. I give you first the example that God gave me to let me know that it was time to cut the cord. You see, when I lost my first child, it was around 1998. God brought back that memory to me, not for me to stay in the grief, but to show me something powerful. You see, my baby had life while it was attached to me in the womb, but when the cord was cut, that life ended. And God said that's exactly what happens with soul ties they only live because you still are attached. They only live because you are still attached. But when I give you the authority to cut it, it has no lifeline anymore. You see, when God gives you the authority to cut it, it has no lifeline anymore.
Speaker 1:I'm speaking to someone today to cut the lifeline off of that soul tie. You see, that is the talk of the table, the round table today. All by itself, we could just have a conversation about just cutting that soul tie and relating it to the baby and the womb and the baby and the birth of the baby. That is real talk right there, all by itself, but the scripture I want to bring to you. I'm just going to paraphrase this Ecclesiastic three where it says there is a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing. And in John 8, 36, jesus says whom the sun sets free is free. Indeed, when God says the tie is broken, freedom has already been declared over your life. Freedom has already been declared over your life.
Speaker 1:Let me just use Noah's analogy here. Let me just use Noah's analogy here. If I could just use a brief part of Noah's analogy. You see, noah took heed when God told him to come out of the ark. We need to take heed. Are you taking heed when God tells us to come out of the ark of divorce, come out of the ark of heartbreak, come out of the arc of brokenness, come out of the arc of bitterness? You see, god sheltered you in that arc so man could no longer harm you. But now he's saying the storm is over.
Speaker 1:As he said to Noah, the flood is over, step out and walk in freedom. That's a hopeful declaration, don't you think? You see, god sheltered you, but now he is releasing you. God sheltered you for a period of time, but now, in this season, in this period of time. God wants to release you from the soul tie, if I can make that relatable to you again. And you see, here's the thing.
Speaker 1:Sometimes we say tie to people and memories or even the pain that God has already cut. We act like it's still alive when really it is dead. We continue to act like it is alive when it's dead. That's what makes a soul tie so dangerous. You see, it only has power if we keep feeding it. If I could tell you today stop feeding your soul tie, stop feeding your soul tie today. It is very important that we take heed, like Noah took heed, not later, but take heed in the moment that God says the flood is over. This is a declaration, if I may say to you, may this be your declaration today, that you hear today that God is saying the cord is cut, the soul tie is broken. You don't have to wait for a feeling, you don't have to wait for permission. Heaven has already declared it for you. And when God says it's cut, no man, no past, no mistake can tie it back together again.
Speaker 1:I'm going to close on this and we'll have more talk on soul ties because I'm setting up the group on social media Facebook We'll have a elaborate conversation and begin to talk, but in closing, in the prayer of encouragement, I want to pray for you. You see, if this spoke to you, I want you to sit with the one word today that God gave me purposeful, purposeful. God gave me that word in a vision with colors bursting out like light, and he reminded me that every ending is actually a purposeful beginning. Let me pray over you, please, father. I thank you. I thank you that you are the only God who can break chains. I thank you for the purposeful ending and beginning.
Speaker 1:I thank you for cutting through the soul ties of relationships that are not healthy for us. For, father God, you are the only God that can set us free, for who God sets free is free indeed. May we cling to that word. Father God, for your children today, let them walk in full victory, father, of not just being healed from the pain but being made whole in the calling that you have over your children's life. I speak release. I speak release over every person listening to this podcast that they will be able to break free in knowing that who God sets free is free, indeed, that they will know that the cord is cut and that new life has begun over them. Cover them, father God, in your blood. Give them strength, father God, to stand on your word and allow them to remember that it is God that holds the power and not man. In Jesus name Amen.
