James tells us, "We have not because we ask not" and in our study of 1st John we are reminded that as followers of Christ we can approach God for anything. God desires an intimate relationship with each one of us and prayer is the main avenue to that intimacy. So many times we allow fear and a misunderstanding of God's nature to keep us from asking but it is in the asking that intimacy is developed. Through approaching and asking we learn more about God's will, His love for us and how we fit into his plans. Stop taking this great privilege for granted and listen as we discover what it means to "pray according to God's will".
