From the early church until today, the very simple act of worship and unity that Jesus exampled at his last meal with his disciples before his arrest, has become a point of disagreement and distraction. Whether you call it Communion, Eucharist or The Lord's Supper, it has been surrounded in confusion, disagreement and divide; yet it was instituted by Jesus Christ as a means of displaying the power of unity and the celebration of community. Sadly for many Christians, we have allowed it to become everything but worship and celebration.
