Show Notes
While patience may be a virtue, it is a rarity in society today. We are a generation of instant gratification - we want it now; and that has crossed over into our walk of faith. We expect instant results but the Bible teaches us that some of God's greatest lessons come during a period of waiting. Moses waited for 40 years herding sheep on the backside of a desert before God called him, Paul cooled his heels in Arabia for 7 years and even Jesus waited 18 years before starting his public ministry. It seems some of God's greatest lessons come while we wait. In this message we examine how Joseph not only endured but thrived while waiting 13 years in prison for God to open the next door. Do you find yourself waiting? waiting for the perfect job? waiting for Mr. or Mrs. Right? waiting for an open door or opportunity? waiting for an answer from God? waiting on your dreams? For the Christian, waiting is never wasted time - their is always a reason and purpose behind it. Give a listen and discover what God may be trying to teach you while you wait! From Genesis 40.
