After a career as a technical documentation person that spanned some 20-plus years, Nancy Delain graduated from law school on the same weekend that her college class celebrated its 25th reunion. She's now been practicing intellectual property and business law as the founder of Delain Law Office, PLLC in Schenectady, New York for almost 20 years.
She brings her comprehensive knowledge of the law together with her tech-writer working style to bear for her clients. The work she does is detailed and complex, and is therefore iterative, with a lot of client involvement in the development and definitions of documents. Communication between the attorney and the client is the key ... the secret sauce ... to her process.
When she's not working, she loves to play with her multiple cats, she gardens, swims, and flies airplanes.
