"Eviction Moratorium Struck Down! Corporate Landlords Stand to Take All! | Thinking Out Loud"

In this episode of his "Thinking Out Loud" series, Double D discusses the news that the Eviction Moratorium has been struck down by the Supreme Court.
Double D breaks down an article from Common Dreams, which exposes how massive landlord corporations like Equity Residential and Mid American Apartments Community, have raked in huge profits and expanded executive pay, even while millions of Americans struggled or failed to pay their rent or mortgages.
Double D goes on to examine the conflict of interest between the Biden Administration and Black Rock Industries, another massive realty and assets company. With several former members of Black Rock serving in key cabinet and appointment positions within the administration. He also discusses how several former government officials are now employed by Black Rock, and how the National Association of Realtors has spent 18 million dollars this year alone, lobbying members of congress.
Double D rounds off the video by ruminating on "revolving door politics" and how super-massive corporations like Black Rock use economic downturns to corner markets and snatch up what little wealth everyday Americans have left.
