How Great Shall Be My Joy is a weekly podcast, put out on Sunday afternoons, to help the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints be more effective member missionaries. It includes both actual experiences and training tips on how to more effectively share the gospel with others by being an instrument in the Lord’s hands. My desire is that by listening to these podcasts, members of the Church will have more frequent, fun, and fulfilling member missionary experiences and eliminate the guilt that many members of the Church feel when member missionary work is discussed. Episode 41: Come to Church With Us Cards!
Did you ever wish you just had a business card that you could give to anyone anytime anywhere that invited them to come to church with you? Well, a couple of weeks ago I created just that for our ward in Washington DC.
For a whopping total of $33, including shipping, I designed a business card on Vistaprint that invites people to come to church with us on Sundays, and gives them all the information they need to do so!
Last Sunday I went to church with a box of 250 of them and gave all of them out! Many members came up to me and asked for more cards so they could give them to friends. It makes it so easy for members of the church to invite people to come worship with us. And it’s the perfect way to practice love share an invite which we’ve been encouraged to do by our church leaders.
