John 12:12-19
Luke 23:26-43
On Palm Sunday we hear shouts of Hosanna to the son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!
Yet at the same time we remember where the shouts lead. We reflect today on the contrast between the loud, persistent mockery of evil and the quiet, faith-filled voice of hope. The passage focuses on the suffering of Jesus and the mocking voices surrounding Him—rulers, soldiers, and even a criminal. Yet, amid this, one criminal speaks with faith, acknowledging Jesus as King and asking, "Remember me when You come into Your kingdom." This man's honesty, truth, and hope provide an example for us. Though evil may seem loud and overpowering, the truth of God’s victory remains, Hosanna to the son of David. Amen
