Join us from Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in SeaTac, WA, as we close the church year with Christ the King Sunday fixing our eyes on the cross, the true sign of our Savior’s reign.
Today’s readings, Malachi 3:13–18 and Luke 23:27–43, lead us to the heart of Christ’s kingship. In this message, “A Kingdom Not of This World,” we see Jesus crowned not with gold but with thorns, ruling not from a palace but from a cross. The cry of the repentant thief—“Remember me”—is answered with mercy and the promise of paradise.
In a world hungry for power and control, this sermon points us to the King who reigns in humility, forgiveness, and redeeming love. May this message draw you closer to the One whose kingdom brings hope that never fades.
