“A Savior Has Been Born for You” – Christmas Day Sermon Audio
Celebrate Christmas Day with Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in SeaTac, WA, as we rejoice in the good news proclaimed by the angels: “A Savior has been born for you.” Not for the powerful or the put-together, but for all people.
This Christmas Day Communion sermon is shaped by Isaiah 9: 2–7 and Luke 2: 1–20, where light breaks into darkness and God’s joy is revealed first to shepherds those often unseen by the world yet fully known and deeply loved by God. In the birth of Jesus, heaven’s glory meets earth’s need, and God’s mercy reaches into every life.
Whether you come with joy, carry grief, feel forgotten, or are searching for hope, this message proclaims that Christ is born for you. The sermon concludes with the beloved carol “God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen,” sending us out in confidence that nothing can undo the good news of Christ’s saving work.
