“Kingdom Values” – Blessed by Grace, Shaped by Christ | Epiphany Sermon Audio

Through Micah 6:  1–8, the Lord calls His people away from displays of power and self-righteousness and toward lives marked by justice, mercy, and humble faithfulness. In Matthew 5:  1–12, Jesus speaks the Beatitudes, overturning our assumptions and naming the poor, the grieving, the meek, and the merciful as blessed in God’s kingdom.

This message proclaims that God’s favor is not something we earn, but something we receive. In Christ, blessing meets us not at our strongest, but at our emptiest—where grace finds us weary, overlooked, and in need. Here, the light of heaven shines, and lives are reoriented around mercy, hope, and trust in Jesus.
