Join Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in SeaTac, WA, for the Fourth Sunday in Lent as we continue our series Life to the World. This week’s message, “Blindness to True Sight,” brings us to the powerful account of Jesus healing the man born blind in John 9:1–41.

In this encounter, a man receives more than restored eyesight he comes to faith in the One who healed him. At the same time, those confident in their knowledge and position struggle to see what is right in front of them. The story reveals a deeper truth: the greatest blindness is not physical, but spiritual.

In Ephesians 5:8–14, we hear the call to walk as children of light. Lent exposes the ways pride and self-reliance can cloud our vision, while the cross reveals both our need and God’s mercy. True sight is not earned through intellect, status, or effort. It is given as a gift through faith in Christ.

Jesus does more than improve our vision He brings us from darkness into His light. He opens our eyes to forgiveness, restores what sin has dimmed, and leads us into life shaped by His grace.

Whether you are exploring faith or seeking renewed clarity in Christ, this message invites you to see again through the light of the Savior.
