On this Day of Pentecost, we hear the powerful account of the Holy Spirit being poured out upon the Church in Acts 2. Through wind, fire, and the proclamation of the Gospel, God gathers people from many nations into the saving promises of Jesus Christ. In John 7 Jesus promise water for those who are thirst a place of rest for those who are in in need. Today we rejoice in the gift of the Spirit, that refreshes and renews the tired and weary world
