It hurts. All of it.

It's the rare empathetic young person who might listen to our podcast today and aim to be helpful. We whined. Hard and long. Our aging bodies are failing us so we indulged in swapping stories about our health problems and the way we perceive doctors and nurses fail us. Before they actually experience such degrading, it's understandable that those who still have the ability to strut might giggle at our expense. But it really hurts when your own doctor is hosting the party. 

<Sigh> Go ahead. Laugh. We're here for you. At least for a while.
