Welcome back to let's get visible entrepreneurs.

0:28

I'm your host, Christine Ammerman.

0:30

I'm so excited to talk with you today about a somewhat controversial topic when it comes to being an online entrepreneur.

0:39

This is something that I've been working with my clients on.

0:42

Literally as long as I can remember when I was consulting for local businesses and international businesses as a marketer.

0:54

Long before I became a coach when I was helping run big budget Facebook ads and I was coaching, but I didn't know it.

1:03

I thought I was running a marketing company, but my, my favorite part of running that business, which I ran for 10 years is what I took into running this business life with passion now in its ninth year.

1:19

And really and truly having worked with businesses that are eight figures, seven figures, multiple six figures, six figures and just getting started.

1:29

This is the commonality.

1:31

What am I talking about?

1:32

I'm talking about ning.

1:35

I'm talking about Niching now before you decided this isn't for you that it's not relevant that you already know your niche.

1:41

Hang on because over the next just few minutes, I'm gonna help you yet.

1:46

Even clearer than you already are.

1:48

Now on how to niche down when you hate Niching my friend, when you hate Niching, your business is maybe at six figures and multiple six figures.

1:58

Great.

2:00

Maybe you're getting your first six figures and you're at five K months, right.

2:04

This can help.

2:07

In fact, I see this being the number one marketing secret that seven and eight figure entrepreneurs use those people that we follow that were like, oh my gosh.

2:17

Wow, they've really got it made.

2:19

I talk about John Lee Dumas of entrepreneurs on fire as somebody who's really optimized his life for maximum enjoyment and his business for what he and his wife call enough.

2:33

And I admire that so much and I had him on the show when his last book came out and I'm lucky enough to have spent some time with both of them, one on one and, and they become friends.

2:47

And one thing that I know for sure is that as huge as his audience is, he's very, very clear on his, his niche.

2:58

And this is one way to do it.

3:00

It's not my favorite way, but it is one way to do it where he has a name.

3:04

He has an ideal client avatar named Jimmy.

3:07

And over the past 1112 years running this business, he has run every decision through the filter of what does Jimmy need.

3:16

What would Jimmy do?

3:18

And that really, really has made clear who he's talking to.

3:24

And of course, there are a lot of other people that don't fit that profile, but he started extremely niched.

3:29

And I want you to consider starting where you are today more niched than you are right now.

3:36

If you are listening to this because you want more clients.

3:40

I want you to niche more.

3:41

OK?

3:42

When we start, we usually are, we resist niching.

3:46

We're like, but I can help anyone, I can help everyone this work, everyone needs it.

3:51

Well, maybe they do.

3:53

But the people who need you the most are the ones who need to see themselves in your content.

4:00

They need to hear themselves in your content.

4:03

So for me, I know that I'm talking to high achievers.

4:06

I know that I'm talking about to passionate driven people who are also heart centered.

4:11

They're probably highly sensitive.

4:14

They have this dream, they have this mission that's really important to them.

4:17

They probably have overcome something really hard and are now using that for good to help others.

4:24

And that's who I'm talking to.

4:26

Guess what?

4:28

That's also me when I started this business, right?

4:33

This is so important, especially if you're someone who resists it because if you resist it and you don't have the number of clients that you want right now.

4:43

It's probably because you are either not being as visible in the way that is meant for you as you could be.

4:52

And I'm not talking about burnout I'm talking about strategy.

4:57

I'm talking about being in alignment.

5:00

I'm talking about attraction, action, which the Fabulous Nicole my right hand in the business pointed out.

5:08

Attraction even has the word action in it.

5:12

But attraction doesn't have to mean chasing people down and burning out.

5:16

If you don't have the clients that you want, you're probably trying to speak to everybody and you really will end up speaking to nobody if you're having trouble picking a niche or if you're like overwhelmed, which niche is best?

5:30

Who has the money to invest?

5:32

What niche should I pick?

5:34

I can't pick.

5:35

Oh my gosh, I should just talk to everybody because my favorite seven or eight figure entrepreneur appears to be, please, please please stop that.

5:43

The best thing that you can do is to get clear on what we call your clable client and position yourself as the go to expert for that clable client who is a clable client.

5:54

Clable client is somebody that you would love to fill your practice with somebody that you've already worked with before who you just adore that rhymes.

6:02

So somebody you've already worked with before who you adore and would love to clone because you would love to have a million of them.

6:11

You would love to have a few dozen of them, right?

6:16

Whatever your desire is for a number of clients.

6:20

Now, this requires work on scarcity mindset because when you're looking for clients, you don't wanna leave anybody out.

6:28

And I get that when you're bringing something new into the world, even if you've been at this for a while, this can come up.

6:35

Will anybody want what I have?

6:36

Because it feels like it's brand new.

6:38

It's a process to go through of letting go of fear and trusting the process and trusting life and trusting what you believe in that's bigger than you in order to receive those clients and look for a lot of us.

6:55

Hey, I know I can be a control freak even though control is a joke and doesn't exist, right?

7:01

So I am with you here and I can tell you that coming back to your why is a great, great way to anchor yourself.

7:11

Who are those people who desperately need what you have to offer?

7:15

Who can you think of specifically?

7:18

I'm not gonna tell you to go cold, call them, but at least part of your why is your, who your clable client?

7:27

This is who you take a stand for.

7:29

This is what you, why you do what you do do not overcomplicate this.

7:33

Ok?

7:34

Most people are like market research is too corporate.

7:38

Oh, call it something else.

7:40

Call it clable client interviews, right?

7:43

And then speak to what those people need to hear or speak to what you need to hear when you are your ideal client.

7:49

Yes, this requires some reflection.

7:50

Yes, this require requires some connection.

7:53

But I think about my client who overcame bankruptcy to create financial freedom.

8:01

And how many women need her work?

8:03

I think about my client who burned out in corporate, took a really successful career break, came back, got more job offers, got more opportunities and now helps her clients do that and wrote a best selling book.

8:15

I think about my client who's healed heartbreak and manifested her soulmate and moved through really, really painful things, overcome so much and how she helps people heal their hearts.

8:26

I think about my client who it was drinking way too much and her finances were a disaster and she started to clean all of that up and trust herself in repairing herself.

8:39

And guess what she helps her clients do, right?

8:42

Or I think about my client who is literally an eight figure copywriter.

8:46

She's called the millionaire maker.

8:48

Guess what her entire work is around ning Ning Niching.

8:54

She takes her clients who she is a millionaire makers for.

8:56

And the eight figures that she's generated as a copywriter have come from Niching.

9:03

So and her clients are big enough to pay her lots and lots of money, right?

9:07

These are giants in the industry.

9:10

These are giants in online marketing names you would recognize.

9:14

And her first question to them is always who are we talking to?

9:18

Because it informs everything else because it informs everything else.

9:22

Now, quickly what not to do.

9:24

Don't get on social media and just share what's on your mind that day.

9:29

Share what's on your mind that day if you want to do that, but run it through the lens of what you needed to hear or what your clable clients need to hear.

9:36

When you use social media as a journal, you are speaking to what interests you, you're not speaking to what interests your clable clients, your niche.

9:46

Also, this can really be a helpful filter to share your scars, not your wounds, share things that you've removed the charge around that aren't super, super triggers for you today.

10:00

Maybe they have been, maybe they sparked why you do what you do, but you have enough distance and healing from them that you're not just putting all your dirty laundry out there, right?

10:11

This is what most of us fear is being that person who puts all their dirty laundry on Facebook.

10:19

You don't have to do that, right?

10:21

You don't have to be that person.

10:22

Consider what's a scar and probably it's something that you've worked through when you were your ideal client.

10:29

Yay.

10:30

OK.

10:31

So remember in many ways, you are your niche.

10:36

If you've been working with clients, pick out your favorite, go back to them and do a niche interview.

10:44

Let me know if you would like to hear some questions.

10:47

We can make an episode about that and remember that this is a lot simpler.

10:56

We overcomplicate it because we feel like it should be harder and that's a conversation for a different day.

11:02

But this is right in front of you.

11:06

If you will let it be simple.

11:08

If you will let, if you will use what your favorite clients tell you that they're dealing with.

11:13

If you will use what you knew you were dealing with in the language, you were dealing with it in the language, your ideal clients are dealing with it, don't upgrade it, use it.

11:21

Exactly.

11:22

Then you will begin to be resonant to the type of people you will be thrilled to have in your business.

11:30

I hope this is helpful to you.

11:32

You can dm me at life w passion, send me a message and let me know how this hit you.

11:42

11:59

12:03

12:06

Niching is such an important topic and I will bang that drum until the end of time, know your niche.

12:12

You should be able to roll it off of your tongue.

12:15

Exactly who you serve.

12:19

And if you don't listen to this again, if you know a friend who's struggling with Niching because they hate it because you have resistance to it and they want more clients send this to them.

12:31

I hope it gives you and them clarity.

12:34
