The show is not a substitute for rehabilitation, medical treatment or advice. Please talk to a health professional if you're alcohol consumption is a risk to your mental and physical health. Now. Welcome back, my beautiful listeners. Thank you so much for being here for another episode of stop drinking and start living. I'm your host, Mary Wagstaff. And if you're new to the show, welcome. I couldn't be more humbled and just more honored to be delivering this content delivering this work to you this work that has changed my life and soul many ways. And I want to tell you, that my life isn't always just roses and butterflies. But what it is now is it's me showing up for me, when I when things are coming to the surface, which they actually have been a lot lately, and they probably have for a lot of people, you know, I've had a lot of time. Without much distraction out in the world, I've been very much in my home. And there's a lot of things that have bubbled up to the surface, that I believe once there is an issue present in front of you that you've been thinking about and honoring more. It is because the opportunity is available and reaching out to you. Because part of you knows, you are now ready to face that thing that you may have been, you know, either just had on the back burner, or you kept telling yourself No, it's okay, I that thing doesn't bother me. Whatever it is, I believe when it starts to come into your, into your consciousness more that it is because there is a part of your life that feels safer to meet and to experience that situation. And so for you, right now, you've been listening to the show, or you found the show, because there is an area areas of your life that you don't have to worry about anymore, where you know, there's not really any more excuses. And you can dive in to starting to examine your relationship with alcohol. And you know, one of the things that you start to realize, when you get to a point where what alcohol used to be just about having a drink is no longer just about having a drink, right? It's now this way to essentially not feel in some way shape, or form, whether you are exhausted from the day, or you're stressed out, or if you're going out to have a new experience. And you're feeling a little uncomfortable in your own skin that you can't trust that who you are and how you show up is enough that you need now, this, this substance to lower your inhibitions so that you are so in your head about things. And at the same time as alcohol is presenting problems to you. It's also covering up the best parts of who you are. And we kind of missed that part of it because it the habit kind of sneaks up on us a little bit right. And so one of the things I'm most excited about today's episode with Sabrina bidet, who is going to be talking about Yoni steaming and yes, get excited. Yes, getting inquisitive, because it does have so much to do with the sacred journey of the self with the practice of embodiment, and how there are so many subtle ways that drinking affects our health, not just from the effects of drinking, but ways that we're just not paying attention to the subtleties of our body. Have listening and really tuning in. And you guys heard me talk about this on the last episode of, you know, do you even notice what your rhythms and cycles are like? So there's that do you even notice if you're having maybe more tenderness or irregularity, or that you know your sex drive has changed or that you are experiencing potentially issues with infertility that you're not willing to look at because you're not willing to really dive in and feel the emotion because alcohol covers up all of these ways in which we become even more fearful than we would have before, of showing up for things that can be a little bit scary. And so I just want you to go into this episode with a really open mind. And not that you need to start using Yoni eggs or Yoni steaming. But to really understand the ways in which you are disembodied, and disconnected from the nature of who you are, from your body, from your pleasure, your natural pleasure, and why, who is saying that who is making up all of the rules, and you know, on a real in a real way, alcohol does imbalance the hormones. So the connection between really understanding the Yoni, which is the vagina, and kind of all of the components of it, is this really beautiful way of getting to know ourselves. And if we don't understand our cycles and rhythms and we can't be with ourselves in an intimate way, without dissociating without disembarking, then we're really missing the mark, we're really missing an opportunity to get to know trust and love ourselves. And this is something that is new for me in my practice, but doing I did sign up for Sabrina's workshop, just so you know, because I'm saying yes to more things in my life every single day. But I met Sabrina several years ago, and doing a Yoni sim was something I never knew about. And it was one of the first times that I had really dove into exploring, wow, on this deep, divine feminine essence. What have I been missing out on? Because alcohol has been covering up? Who am I as really a woman, from my own perspective, not in relationship to, you know, my sexual partners, but even in relationship to that, what am I afraid of? Who am I? Who am I catering to in this life? And so I really encourage you to use this as an opportunity to just see maybe what you have been missing out on? What are you not willing to explore? Because you're so far away from being able to meet discomfort of any kind. I've had several people reach out and schedule a one on one consultation with me, so that they can start their sober October so that they can dive into not just quitting alcohol, but really understanding their habit and really understanding who they are and what they want. In light of that, on the other side of that, what isn't alcohol that you're that you're missing out on. So I'll leave the link for the scheduler. in the show notes. Sabrina also offered us a beautiful gift of 20% off her entire store. And so I would definitely encourage you if you're having any issues with your feminine reproduction or with menstruation, or menopause to definitely reach out to her. She has a wealth of knowledge and it is such a sacred and supported experience, to be able to be with someone that can look at these issues in a way to help encourage you to really dive into being your own best teacher and your own. best doctor. And that's why I really was so excited to have her on the show. Because this is the work that I do to any great teacher or support person or mentor isn't telling you the way to do it. But helping you figure out the best way to do it for yourself. Who are you innately that already has all of the answers inside, alcohol is just covering it up. That's all that is. And it seems super scary right now, just because it's unfamiliar territory. But when you come, and you learn in a safe space, how to feel, and that it can't hurt you, then you show up, and the willingness to fail, the willingness to move through discomfort becomes easy, because you're inspired to reach the goal at the end. And so you start to notice, you know, I'm going through this right now is some stuff, I start to notice my triggers of discomfort when I get a little scared. And you know, sometimes it's when things are going really well. And it's like, oh crap, I better hold on, you know, hold on to the Oh, shit handle, because it's getting real over here. And, you know, the tendency to want to run away or to, you know, not have that hard conversation. But I drop into the heart, I drop into what am I making it mean about me, and then I really look at it from the lens of unconditional love. And you know, we're all just here trying to figure it out, there's no right or wrong way to do it. The right way to do it is the way is of the model of, of unconditional love, rather than fear. And we move through discomfort from the lens of unconditional love, right? So you can look at discomfort through the lens of fear, and grit your teeth and close your eyes and be like I can't do it and just have a drink. Or you can step into this place of Yeah, of course, it feels scary. Of course, it's hard. I've never done this before. But you commit to yourself, you get accountable, and you show up to do the work. You don't worry about all the what ifs of the future, one day, at a time you show up and you meet yourself, right where you are at. And you uncover how you got to where you got right, because it just didn't happen overnight. So of course, it's going to take some time to unravel. And of course, it's scary. This is the way you've been meeting life for so long. It's terrifying. But it's not impossible. And every time you show up to do the work, it gets easier. So I just wanted to give an amazing shout out because you are here, because you are answering the call of your higher self already. That's why you're here. And so all you need to do is get off the fence and just start to make the commitment about looking a little bit deeper into this relationship between you and alcohol. Because right now you're on the fence every day, you're on the fence, drink or not drink, and it's exhausting. It's exhausting. And once you get a little room between you and your mind, you can take a breath of fresh air, you start to look at it from a place of compassionate awareness and observation. And you go from there, right? You can't nothing changes overnight. So you have to make a decision about inquiring further. And the only way to do that is to start now there's no magical time. That's why even the sober October thing is, you know, I love the fall. And that's why I initiated that because I think it's a beautiful time of transition, especially when we're going into darker days. And there's not as much, you know, light outside and thing, you know, being outside to distract us. So I think it's a beautiful time of self inquiry. For me personally also. But we know there's no magic time because there's always going to be some excuse. So, sign up for an alignment session with me, check out Sabrina's work and Sabrina I just wanted to say thank you so much. It was so beautiful to connect with you again and have a wonderful day enjoy the interview. I am so so honored to have here Sabrina badet of sacred Lotus Yoni steam. Sabrina, thank you so much for joining us today. Aloha, thank you for having me. It's such an honor and pleasure to connect with you as we shared such an incredible transformational experience in Mexico together. And at that point in time, I think we were both really launching our journeys of full self expression and you know, bringing our sole mission and purpose out into reality and it was, you know, that retreat experience that we were on together I feel that really allowed us to step into our infinite potential as as healers and guides and priestesses and you know, and humble, you know, women walking this earth well alongside Pachamama. Yeah, so beautiful to have that deep experience of being held to in the collective space of a vulnerability of, you know, what it means to, to really open up that expression of divine femininity. And that was really something for me during that time, being held and seen by the sacredness of Yeah, of the mother, and of all of the women and being really, just really being felt like I was really held there. And so yeah, it was just so awesome. And I know we both have just like got gone crazy, since then skyrocketing to all the pleasure. And so we were talking a little bit earlier that I've been doing a series of beautiful empowered women, guests, who are really their magic that they're offering out into the world is really through the expression of embodiment, and finding personal, you know, real pleasure, and physical and empowerment through the expression of the self and knowing thyself on a physical, emotional, and, you know, mental level. And so that's why we're here so we can really talk about what sacred Yoni steaming really is about. So I would just love for you to start and kind of give us an introduction to you know, what you're offering out into the world today and about your Yoni magic. Thank you, sister. Yeah, my pleasure. So let's start from the beginning. I'm a certified vaginal steam therapist, and, and the Yoni is the Sanskrit term for vagina. And so when we're talking about Yoni steaming, we're talking about that gentle steaming, which means, you know, sitting over a boiling pot of medicinal herbs, to allow you like the healing benefits of these medicinal herbs to restore health and balance to our menstrual cycle, as well as our feminine life stages and phases. And, you know, I'm out here in Colorado, in the mountains and living in community, and there's some things going on. So if you hear it in the background, uh, whoa. So, anyway, it's like, why would somebody, you know, do this vaginal steaming thing, right? Well, there are so many incredible health benefits to them, there's so many incredible health benefits, that there are to using medicinal herbs over going back into cycles of antibacterial drugs and pharmaceutical drugs. And so we're here, you know, here as a women empowering women bringing back an ancient tradition that has been used by women for thousands of years. And so this actual act of using herbal medicine using you know, the steam to restore balance and health to our womb cycle to our, to our reproductive organs, is, you know, a women's tradition from around the world. And so, what does that look like? Right? So if you were just being introduced to Yoni steaming, we're like, Okay, why am I going to sit over this boiling pot of herbs? Like what's happening here? Right? So if we go back into the time of the ancient times, when women were the healers of our families, and when women were the ones that went out into the forest and into the woods, and communicated with plants, there was no guidebook. There is no Field Guide. We went out there. We talked to the plants, we received the downloads from Pachamama. And we brought these medicinal plants back into our homes or families and said, this plant heals, cuts and wounds, this plant, you know, we can make a salve on with this plant to stop bleeding. And so women around the world, we're communicating with nature in the ancient times, and those women are the women of your maternal lineage. And so when we are reconnecting back to plant medicine, one of the most profound things that we're doing is reestablishing our connection back to Pachamama and to our maternal ancestral lineage of women healers of, you know, the DNA that flows through our bodies that you has been in communication with the land since the beginning of time. And we've just forgotten that. And when we forget that we get, you know, experiences of sadness and loneliness and depression and disconnection. And you know, a large part of that is simply our disconnection from the mother. And so when we are, you know, using ancient arts and rituals and healing practices that connect us back to our ancestor and connect us back to the land, we are rejuvenating not only our energetic spirit, but our physical well being our physical well being registers that it registers us taking care of ourselves and loving ourselves and honoring ourselves and respecting ourselves. And so when we give these gifts to our body, temple, and when we give these gifts to our spirit, and we remember our divinity, when we remember who we are, you know, we remember our place and our purpose for walking this earth here in this body, it begins to do its own vibrational healing work on moving us in raising our vibration supporting us in reaching for those higher flying emotions, like gratitude, over despair. And so, you know, I'm gonna just talk in spirals because I'm a woman, and I'm the feminine and I don't go from A to B. So what is the only steaming? How does it work? Okay, imagine taking these herbs, right, you're taking these sacred herbs and you're setting a beautiful intention with them, maybe it's for your healing neighbors for something you're calling in something you're releasing, and you start boiling them in that pot of water. And so as you're boiling these herbs in a pot of water, you have the lid on the pot, and the essential oils, which are the volatile and aromatherapeutic oils, they start leeching off the plant and into the water, and they're infusing the water. And that's why we when we drink a tea, that's what's happening, we're getting an infusion of the oils from the plants that came off of the of the leaf into the boiling water. Right. So when you drink that tea cup, you're drinking the essential oils and it you know, infused in the hot water of the plant. But what's happening is that the digestive system is now taking a lot of the medicine that is out that is from that plant in in through the stomach acid and the digestive process and we lose some of that medicine. So it takes more time and it needs to be stronger in order to infiltrate the entire body. Yet when we take that boiling pot of herbs, and we have the cap on what happens is the essential oils from the volatiles and aromatherapeutic oils from the plant. Go from the water infusion into the steam. And now you have this very potent, incredible steam, this medicinal steam that when you sit or squat over this medicinal, you know, this pot of medicinal steaming herbs. The first thing that happens is it brings blood flow, energy, lifeforce and, you know, renewal of key to the wounds, it's, it's Waking the wounds phase up, getting the blood flowing, the circulation flowing, if you have terrible cramps, starting to allow the body to begin to relax, right. And now you have this steam. And just like when you're in the shower, and your pores open up, then you know the seat you know, it's the time to exfoliate, because your skin your pores are open, and you know, you do your cleansing thing. Imagine the pores from your labor, your inner and outer Lydia at lady opening up and you know, the and all of a sudden this medicinal steam seeps in through the pores of your skin, and goes into your bloodstream. And it goes from your bloodstream straight to the womb. It's like taking a shot of medicine straight to your womb. It's just like when you go to the doctor and they give you a shot, you know, in your arm, and it just goes through your bloodstream. And it's just like this instant thing. It's the same thing when we're Yoni steaming, and you know, the medicine from the herbs just goes directly into the bloodstream. And so that's why it's such a potent, you know, healing practice. And that's why it's medicinal. And it's more than just a ritual is, you know, it's healing as well. Yeah, oh my gosh, there's just so much beauty in that I was almost crying just listening to the whole thing. I have experienced, Yoni steaming and I need to be doing more of it, frankly, and what I what was kind of coming to me as you were speaking, and thank you for all of that, just articulating that so well is first like you're using all of the elements right to create this. So we're connecting in that way with like, you know, like when you make the tea, but then that's coming inside of you with the steam. And so there's the fire and the water and the herbs and the plant and then the steam, and then your beautiful elements of your body meeting that and I was would love for you to talk a little bit about really wound wisdom. Because, for me, that was something on my journey away from alcohol and disembodiment was really the activation, that I needed to find that deep remembrance, that connection that I didn't even know I had lost. You know, and like, in this world, if it's not really taught to us, maybe through our maternal lineage, we don't even really know unless we find the teacher. I mean, there might be a remembrance of it, but the the ritual of that and that deep connection with the intimacy of the Divine Feminine of the womb space and the power that it holds when that was activated inside of me, and like, the goddess called me home, I'm almost cry thinking about it. There was like, there was no, there was no going back. And there was no question of the work that I was to be doing for myself. And it was such a beautiful and sacred journey, and part and challenging and meeting the shadow and meeting all of the things that, you know, I had covered up and really the healing that I needed to do in that space, because I had really been in disservice of that part of myself not knowing of course, not really intentionally, but you know, it, like with disembodiment really covers up the most beautiful, sacred soft parts of ourselves, which are the emotion So anyway, spiraling again, but, um, womb wisdom, I mean, what does that really mean when it comes to the work you're doing and Yoni steaming, and I know you have some other embodiment practices that we talked about? Mm hmm. Um, well, I feel that our womb, wisdom, and our womb, tuition, you know, our, our, like a double strand helix. And our wisdom comes from our ability to trust ourselves. And you know, when we can trust ourselves, we can listen to ourselves. So in order to trust ourselves, we need to be able to be compassionate enough with ourselves to realize that we are worthy, and that we deserve and that we are, you know, gods and goddesses, walking this planet, and we are the manifestos of our reality. And we do have a choice every moment and how we feel. And if we don't do it, the last moment, we can always recommit to the next moment. And the compassion for ourselves that we're on our own life journey. And it's, it's different for everybody. And nobody struggle is greater than anybody else's. Everyone has their own internal struggle that they're working through that for them. And their reality is, you know, is what it is. And that is to be turned inward to ourselves. Because ultimately, it's the act of in loving ourselves, that of loving ourselves that allows us to be embodied. If we don't love ourselves, we can't step into embodiment, because we don't think that we deserve to feel pleasure. We don't deserve to feel good, or, you know, loved or accepted. And that's our own, you know, judgments on ourselves. So, ultimately, our womb wisdom, and our womb, tuition is the you know, is the continuing, ever generously giving result of us taking the time, to love ourselves, to honor ourselves, to forgive ourselves, to give ourselves care to take care of our bodies, our food, our food, through our relationships, through honoring our boundaries, our consent are our sacred, yes, doing the things that we love, without guilt or shame, allowing ourselves to orgasm with ourselves and a partner. And, you know, when we start allowing ourselves to live, and when we start allowing ourselves to feel because we have compassion for ourselves, and we forgive ourselves and we are committed to you know, loving ourselves. And then when we say, hey, should I go into this party with these people? I can dial into my womb, and like here, the very clear answer, like no, this is not a good idea for you right now. And then be able to say it Not going to this party, not a good idea for me right now and honoring myself in that way. And when I do honor myself, my trust in myself becomes stronger. And, and I have more confidence in myself and faith in myself, as, you know, a strong like it, you know, or not even as a strong but just like as a woman that honors her boundaries. And that, you know, is what creates safety. And when I feel safe, then I can create. Because when I feel safe, I don't have compaction in my body, and I don't have contraction in my nervous system and my anxiety. And so when I feel safe, and I and I feel like open and I can create, that's when I can be sensual, that's when I can be free, that's when I can be orgasmic. That's when I can, you know, you know, be the best daughter and, and sister and lover and, and, you know, friend, and that all ties in. You know, that's beautiful. So it's just like, knowing myself on this intimate way, self trust, safety and creativity and then really honoring like, what is what is so many women that I work with? Are you know, they are they come and they don't really even know, what is pleasure to them, you know, at that point, because it's been so much there's been so much disembodiment not slowing down to check to check in to check into that deep wisdom that lives inside and really just never even asking the question. Is this even what I want right now, right? Like honoring that we have a choice in every moment. And things can become so habitual and so routine, and we just move from one thing to the next. And then the outer world is screaming at us with everyone else's opinions. And so it's just it's, it is I believe that this that emotional intimacy, which does come from the with womb, wisdom, and because that is the emotional self, especially of the of the feminine, really, is the evolution of the species, you know, where we can find that safe container, and we can feel in control, enough to trust that we are born into this life to feel to experience emotion and that feeling sad, can feel good. You know, we're being authentic with ourselves. Yes, you know, we're authentically feeling sad and not trying to cover it up. You know, we allow ourselves to feel and move through that so that we can make it out to the other side instead of stuffing it down for 10 years. And then it shows up as disease in our body. Yeah. Excellent. Exactly. And so I wanted to kind of ask you, you know, when you offer the Yoni this medicinal, how do you feel like, will you and you had said that this, that there's like this subtlety in the, in the sacredness of the self on a, you know, on a vibrational level and the subconscious and the soul self knows that you're paying attention? And is that how you feel like the to connect where this beautiful, rich, medicinal ritual where they actually is medicine for real physical ailments that we're having in life, but that it also is the sacred with ritual connects the two of that internal intuition with the outer practice? Wow. So what is my question? I mean, yes, like, I feel very aligned with like, what you're sharing is like, yes, this is, you know, the, the space that you're speaking in is, is real. And what is my question? Yeah. So how would someone know that Yoni steaming, I guess was for them and feeling? You know, like, it was, it was time it was something that felt appropriate? Or, you know, how would they come to this? Mm hmm. Well, a lot of times, women come to me when they're desperate. When they've been to the OB GYN or the doctor and there's sir their, their future is surgery, or a lifetime of, you know, lifetime of pharmaceuticals. Or, or hopeless or, you know, other you know, fertility experiments for example. And, and so, they, they've, like, come to the point where they've been like, there has to be another way. There must be some other way then like, cutting my body open and, you know, doing all of these things, you know, and that's when they find me, and that's when they've, you know, find Yoni steaming and it's not, you know, Miracle Cure, and it's not results are not guaranteed, you know a specific way for anybody. However, what has been developed in this, you know, science is the science of case studies. And you know, in the science of case studies, when you know, five or 6000 women experience something, and then you use a certain group of herbs, Yoni steaming, in a certain way, at a certain protocol over the course of a certain amount of time. Many women experience the same results. Mm hmm. You know, and so we're building this science every day because it was already you know, existing for so thousands of years as a as a medical practice, you know, and we're re remembering and rediscovering you know, how to, you know, how to use medicinal plants, I think, you know, through in our whole world, and we have clues from the past. So how do you know if Yoni steaming is something for you? Well, there's physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of this in the physical aspects, many women you know, you know, decide that to try Yoni steaming. If they have very challenging menstrual cycles, you know, so if your menstrual cycle is absent or regular, if your menstrual cycle comes every 40 days if your menstrual cycle comes every 20 days, if you have bloating, and cramps and PMS, if you have, you know, spleen deficiency or stagnation or excess heat or dampness in your body. You know, there's so many things that affect the menstrual cycle. If you're someone that has cysts or fibroids or as on a fertility journey or a postpartum healing journey, or transitioning to from perimenopause, menopause journey, you know that these these are all spaces of the womb. And Yoni steaming is a medicine practice for the womb. Yeah, it's, it's a so it can be used that as a, as a also a regular practice, like a monthly practice for people. That is the physical side. Yes, thank you. There's also the, you know, spiritual side where the spiritual side of that is, you know, like I said, before we connecting back to the land and to our lineage, but also as a self love ritual. It's like, Okay, I'm not going to blow dry my hair, or you know, like, get a massage. I'm going to like, give the healing energy that I have, back to my womb space through, you know, this ritual. And while I'm Yoni steaming, maybe I'm going to, you know, think about the things that I really need to let go of, and give that back to the earth. Give that back to Pachamama, you know, maybe I'm going to, you know, what am I calling in, you know, maybe I'm Yoni steaming in ritual over the full moon, and I'm releasing and letting go that which does not serve or I'm, um, you know, Yoni steaming under the new moon, I'm calling in like, my new intentions for the, you know, for the next moon cycle for the next round. You know, I'm planting seeds right now. It's like, maybe I'm clearing my womb garden, from all of these self limiting beliefs I've been holding on to that have been running my life and I'm sick of it. Mm hmm. Yeah, it was beautiful. And so there's not Is there any? So there's no really specific time during a cycle that's better than another? Or does it maybe depend on if you're using it for physical or spiritual implications or reasons? Yes, there. Okay. Great question. There are very significant times to Yoni steam. If you're not Yoni steaming in a protocol, which is, you know, under the supervision of a certified vaginal steam therapist, or para steam hydrotherapist. And you desire to, you know, do a clearing and cleansing of the womb, right? The best time to steam would be before you bleed, the week before you bleed steaming one or two times is going to have a radical impact on your menstrual cycle. It's because the herbs are and the steam and the heat are really supporting the body and opening up and releasing and cleansing. So imagine we've been bleeding our whole lives every single month for a specific amount of days, you know, and we've never done a wound cleanse, there's going to be excess tissue and residue and build up you know, even if we're a healthy person, it's just like, just like every other part of the body mind spirit we need to cleanse and so that's like, it's a very supportive to this process, you know, and, and, also, after you bleed, like if you're someone that at that The last day or two is brown blood, or brown smears or like anything that's dark, dark red, like that's that closer to like a brown, red, you know, that's old blood that's still in your body from however many cycles ago that's just doing the best it can to get out and it's getting out at the end, you know, so even when we seem at the end of our cycle, it really supports our body and pushing down any remaining stagnant blood so that we can bleed it out the next cycle or, you know, you know, in a continuous process, depending on the status. Yeah, so, I mean, it's really a detoxification process as well. Um, I don't like to say detox because that has a lot of connotation to it and also, you know, has creates an expectation. Mm hmm. You know, so there are Yoni steams, we're used detoxifying herbs, herbs, I can support you in detoxing the liver like dandelion leaf a great one of our great Yoni seem herbs or, or lemon balm, which is antiviral, you know, can be considered a slight detox but you know, Yoni steaming is is a, I like to call it a self health self love practice. Mm hmm. And oh, go on, what were you going to say? No, I was just going to say that that's, that sounds beautiful. So it's really more of you know, this, of a cleansing or purification than so much of a detox. Yes, exactly. Yeah. I'm Sabrina, I did want to ask a little if you wanted to share a little bit of with our listeners just about your own personal journey. And then I do want to kind of talk specifically about sacred Lotus Yoni steam and kind of what goes into making your beautiful blends and in that process, but I would love to know a little bit about how you came to do this work. And yeah, your own self love. You know, there's so many things, so many factors that bring us to our purpose and mission in life, that I feel like what's very relevant for this topic, and this conversation is, you know, I had a very strong addiction to abusive relationships. And I, you know, from the time I was in high school, up until my, you know, mid 30s, I found myself in manipulative and narcissistic, emotionally abusive relationships. And, and, you know, that comes from a deep, you know, that not only, of course, it all goes back to the childhood can't deny that, but also, what developed from that is, you know, that unworthiness that you don't even know that is there, that's just a vibration that's vibrating out of your body, even when you're happy or in a good mood. And it's not like, you know, that you're affected, but yet, you have a core belief of not being enough in my case, you know, and that's the vibration that, you know, predatory energies pick up. And, and so I was easily like, brought in and manipulated into, you know, these relations that I couldn't let go of, and they were so detrimental and damaging to my physical, emotional, spiritual well, being lost friends lost family for a while, you know, like, just, nobody understands. Nobody understands what we have, you know, that, that mindset. And so, you know, it took me going back into a relationship that I had left to quote unquote, try again, because I believed he had healed and changed and, you know, everything was going to be different. Now we're going to live the dream that we had. And, you know, it turns out that that person was the exact same person, you know, from three years before hadn't changed a bit was still trying all the same things. But the difference between that was that when I left him, that first time I went on a healing journey, and it was an embodiment, ritual healing journey. And that embodiment ritual healing journey meant Yoni steaming, and meant working with Yoni eggs and men working with Yoni pleasure wants to rediscover my orgasm and my own self pleasure, like in the, in the inner standing that I, you know, was am here and like a worthy of myself feeling pleasure, you know, from myself first. And giving, you know, giving myself that and I spent, you know, I was in women's circles and I went to therapy with a spiritual counselor and I just got all of these tools in my spiritual toolbox. I started you know, dancing, you know, I'd like and, and alone in my room, you know, by myself like and then using my Yoni egg and listening to my favorite music and going to sleep and Okay, like, I'm coming back from this, you know, I'm gonna, you know, I'm going to get through this and these sacred embodiment tools that were in my toolbox, you know, where my healing and when I went back into this relation, I saw all the things right away. And I was like, No, this isn't gonna run me anymore, you can't do that anymore. I have my healing embodiment practices, and I was able to exit that relationship powerfully for the first time, and like, I was so empowered by myself, you know, and, and committing and recommitting back to journaling and going inwards. Like as in asking myself why I'm so triggered by things instead of allowing myself to just be emotional. And you know, like asking questions and being curious about myself and like touching myself and like not feeling guilty about it. And, you know, you know, sharing healing with other women too, and holding space for other women on their journeys, you know, like all of these things are the foundation of sacred Lotus and the foundation of my purpose and mission on this planet, I'm so clear that all of these things had to be experiences of mine, so I could be who I am today. And and so you know, reconnecting back to the land and herbs with and also healing my cycle like I was that woman that was bleeding every like 40 plus days, like what is going on and I also used to get UTI eyes and people that get UTI eyes can relate to the fact that if you get a UTI, you have to go get antibiotics, and there's no choice for you. And or you're going to die, it's going to go to your bladder and kidneys. And it's over for you. You know, it's like, I'm sitting here Yoni steaming, I haven't had a UTI, and over three and a half years. And, you know, I haven't done anything else different, except for incorporating this medicine practice in my life. And, you know, and, you know, my self pleasure practices and my rituals around that and like, you know, hearing myself sound, make sounds and noises by myself, like, going into that embarrassment of like, why am I embarrassed to touch myself? When I'm alone? In my room? There's like nobody here. Like, why am I so embarrassed to be with myself and asking myself these questions and like, thinking about my childhood and about what I allowed to happen and past, like, love with past lovers, and like, how that affected me right now. And like, my commitments to like, you know, moving, learning and healing? And I don't know, Did that answer the question? Yeah, definitely. And thank you so much for sharing all of that, too. It really paints this beautiful picture of kind of how we started the conversation of self trust, you know, leading to safety leading to creativity, and then just going from there and then you know, then we then we can start to trust the universe again to write then we can start to trust what's happening, and where we're being led, and who's coming into us, because we know that we have that discernment. And so, so beautiful, and I wanted you to talk a little bit about sacred Lotus Yoni seemed like the product and how you guys cultivate and and then even just, if you could give, like you had mentioned the UT and I know you mentioned earlier on with a couple of things that ailments that it's really useful for but if you could maybe give us also a little synopsis of some ailments that might trigger for people like oh, that's the sounds more like me too, in case we just just a concise list of a few things. But yeah, I would love to know about the product, some ailments, besides you know, the cleansing rituals, and then like, how we can get some and do it and get on with healing our, our sacred womb. Amazing. Well, you know, if you are someone that has ever had a challenging menstrual cycle, you know, in, in any way, like I was sharing before, from absent to regular periods, to flood bleeding, like you're bleeding, like, you know, five pads, you know, and six hours and you're like, is something wrong with me like, and the doctors are like, this is just, you know, this is just you, if you ever heard for any feminine, this is going to cut it down. If you've ever heard from any feminine imbalance that you might be experiencing from bV and herpes to fibroids to, you know, infertility to adhesions, you know, if you've heard that, the, you know, this is just the way that you are, or this is just the way that it is, you know, oh, this is just the way your menstrual cycle is, it's like that's normal for you. If you've ever heard that this is normal for you or that's just the way that things are. My invitation to you is to let you know that there's lots of other ways that you can heal out there that you know, whether it's through You know, trying to bring restore balance through Yoni steaming, or any other you know, medicinal practices. You know, do your research, Know yourself, you know, know it's possible for you don't take the first person that just told you what's going on with your body that that's the way it is learn your body, learn how you work, you know, learn what you look like, inside, you know, learn, like, you know, go on and become a little mini doctor because it's your body and you're the only person that really cares about your body. You know, no one else is going to care for your body like you do. And you know, don't be just a number, don't be a statistic. And so what you know, what's going on with sacred Lotus is like, I'm, you know, I'm just here as an ambassador, for this medicine, and for these healing practices. And I even I used to get surprised all the time by results, you know, it's like always continuing to remember how powerful our intentions are because herbs aren't healing you you're healing you know, the herbs are your allies, and your intention is your your magic wand. And so, I'm very proud of how we cultivate herbs, because I have some really incredible independent women, farmer, friend spirit sisters, and they have dedicated their lives to bringing organic food and herbs from the ground to your table. And people don't realize the life of a farmer or farmers it is a 24 eight job, you know, the plant you know, if you are growing food and medicine, you know, that is your life. And people are sharing, you know, this their life essence, through their food and through their plants. And so, my sister Chloe, my spirit sister, you know, founder of flower super farm in southwest Colorado, is she grows a lot of the medicinal herbs that we use in the sacred Lotus Yoni seems it's a very special thing we have, you know, organic and sustainable hand grown hand harvested each flower cut with a scissor. Like have the highest intention and integrity and, and quality. For you know, the womb healing that is happening in our sacred Lotus, in our sacred Lotus patches, and it's not every single verb or bark or root, yet, there is a significant portion, and everything else is organic and sustainable and fairly traded and wild crafted, sometimes by me. And, and I like to come down to Colorado for the flower harvest, and participate in harvesting the flowers and drying the flowers and for our blends. And I you know, if you're a woman that is needing support with restoring physical balance to your womb, we can do a console and menstrual analysis and see what's going on, and see if there's, you know, a healing path that we can do together. Beautiful, and I just wanted to kind of come back to the understanding of, you know, what I've really been trying to impress upon my audience is what you had mentioned about intention, and this, the wildcrafting and the, the, the care taken, for this medicine that is being offered from the earth to the sacredness of who you are, and, you know, something that we didn't really speak of, but is I mean, it comes with womb wisdom, but is the power of, of understanding your menstrual cycle and that, you know, there comes to be a something wrong, you know, something out of balance, I won't say wrong, but something out of balance. And like you said, we just take the word or advice of another when I you know, I like to say to your we are our own best doctors, but we're so disconnected from that cycle and from our own cycles. And this is something I work with clients all the time is charting their cycle, not just when they're bleeding, but understanding the phases that live inside of the cycle. And so first, it's just an opportunity to really look at your cycle, is it out of balance, and to even notice that and then to dive in to understanding if it's restored and imbalanced all of the other elements of the self that can be brought back into balance because of that, too. Yeah, and that it's just so important to understand what you're putting in your body in the whole cycle like that. We all effects at all effects one another. Are you able to facilitate Yoni steams virtually, is that something that you do? Yeah, it's funny that you say say that because during quarantine for a few months I was actually hosting a worldwide Yoni steam and it was like a zoom virtual Yoni steam and it was free and I just like anyone that wanted to come and Yoni steam once a week together up your Yoni steaming once a week. So you know, yeah, that was like my first foray into virtual Yoni steaming, it was really fun. It worked, you know? And, yeah, that's definitely something that's a possibility. I wanted to, okay, we please go on, but we're gonna go you go ahead, seriously. Um, I wanted to share that, you know, besides the fact that these herbs are coming from a very sacred place. There's also you know, myself and my blood sister who's a clinical herbalist, and she's the one that's formulated our, our clinical blends. And so, you know, that's like if you have pH balance issues or if you're, you know, working towards, you know, pregnancy or healing from postpartum or, you know, have like, extreme, you know, stagnation, you know, you know, though the blends that you see on my website were co formulated with my, my blood sister, you know, we work together with sacred Lotus, it's very beautiful, like bonding of the, of the, you know, the feminine, you know, two sisters and my mom also when I'm in my travels, she's the one that blends the herbs and so I get on the phone with my mom and my mom's in there, you know, like blending our blends while I'm like at the flower harvest you know, so it's like also really beautiful like lineage from mother to daughter like supporting each other and making medicine for women and when I'm you know, making medicine and blending, you know, it's under the sun and it's you know, in nature and all the intentions for like juicy love and sex and orgasms and healing and babies are all like put into those herbs through you know, that sacred the sacred intentions. And so it's super high vibe, the entire sacred Lotus experience is super high vibe. You know, very community and family run like so many incredible sisters have participated in the building of this movement of this like sacred Lotus movement, whether it's like the time that I had to pack 8000 Yoni steams for goddess provisions, like subscription box, and I just put out a call on Instagram, I was like, who wants to come to the mountains of Colorado and camp and you know, camp out and be fed and like pack medicinal herbs for the healing of wounds. And like 10 women just showed up out of nowhere, you know, and came and just like, we helped pack these herbs together. And it was such an incredible experience. And so it's just like, it's a community vibe. It's a it's a sister love by you know, it's a whenever when COVID hit, I you know, send out so many herbs to people on the front lines, you know, with a with a nonprofit called Genesis healing Institute, to nurses to any to anybody who contacted me, that's somebody in the industry that was like, you know, needed support, I sent the immune respiratory blends, you know, and we have, you know, I have a sister in Colombia who makes clothes that like, you know, we're supporting, you know, we're bringing her clothes to America, you know, something she wouldn't have access to, or a women's collective in Guatemala that made the Yoni steam pouches, like, you know, we're supporting that collective of women right now, too. It's just, and the greater vision is to really, you know, share this knowledge with all women so that women can be in their, like cottage industry, like in their healing space of the communities Oh, come over to me for Yoni See, my gosh, you, you know, like, let me mix up this blend of herbs, you know, come on, over, sit, sit down, like lay out lay, you know, lay your troubles down, give yourself that love, go back to your family, you know, be able to fill your cup. Yeah, it's so beautiful. And it's such a different, such a different way of life. Really, then, you know, the way you know, when I was kind of deep into my relationship with alcohol, and you know, I kind of been on the border of holistic health. But it really takes it deeper on this vibrational level of, of the whole. The whole symbiotic relationship really from, from Earth to, to sacred connection, from the mother to us, and then yeah, to our communities and, and the sisterhood and, and all of it and it does matter. And that's really what I want to impress upon mostly by female is like, listeners is that it all matters and it is all our life as a sacred journey and a sacred ritual. And it's it's so important to treat it as that because this is what we're doing and we can do it we can support ourselves and then the more healing we have inside and the more peace we have inside, the more we can support and extend our hand to the woman whispering in the back who's just waiting for permission, you know, from someone to lead by example, sometimes is all it takes. And so Sabrina, I just wanted to know if there is anything else that is coming up for you in the world and how we should contact you, in the best way to find you, because I know that you've led some retreats and things like this. But yeah, what what's going on in the future? And how do we get in touch with you or make sure we know about all of your offerings? Well, thank you so much. And first, let me say that Mary, you are an incredible facilitator and space holder and I can't wait to be able to come to one of your workshops or retreats and like experience your magic work. And, you know, I see how you show up in the world online. It's super powerful. It's empowering. It's inspirational. And it's, you know, an honor to be here with an incredible facilitator and healer and be asked, you know, what my offerings are, so thank you. Yes, I do have an eight day sacred Lotus Yoni gem initiation coming up on October 16. It's eight days an hour a day and we'll be learning how to use the Yoni eggs and doing learning all kinds of different movements and working with the chakra system. So thank you. Yeah, awesome. Can you just briefly tell us what a Yoni egg is? Absolutely a Yoni egg is a crystal that we bring inside of our Yoni so a crystal that we bring into our vagina. And it has physical emotional and spiritual benefits physical benefits like that most people really connect with are strengthening and creating dexterity in our vaginal muscles as well as tonifying the pelvic walls and floor really great healing if you've had children and you know your shape has changed or just as we grow older, our muscles atrophy and or we think that we're losing our libido somewhere or, you know, we don't feel the way that we used to feel about sex or you know, we we have a lot of trauma from past lovers and we can let go, you know, so these are just some of the ways that we use Yoni eggs both physically, you know, and emotionally. Yeah, beautiful. And that's something that someone could get from you as well. You could order from you. Yeah, I do have a Yoni boutique. So the only boutique and if you use code, Mary, you can get 20% off. Well, yeah. And so please, feel free to go to sacred Lotus Yoni steam.com and click the shop. And you know, Yoni boutique has all of our medicinal Yoni steam herbal blends, as well as you know, these Yoni eggs and different sizes and Yoni pleasure ones, which are, you know, Crystal ones, that are shaped to find our G spot if we didn't know where that was, or what it feels like, on our own. And we're not necessarily desiring to explore with our hands or if we are looking to move away from vibrators as they do damaged all of our sensitive nerve tissue, then, they're really beautiful healing tool to incorporate into our spiritual kit. Oh, my gosh, yes, everyone, please, I am so excited, I'm going to definitely check out and everything will be in the show notes for everyone. So they don't have to remember any of this stuff. But um, I'm definitely going to check out your offering for October. That sounds really amazing. And such a nice way to get introduced to it, obviously, through instruction through DNA through instruction, rather than just trying to figure it out on your own, you know. But yes, that, ladies, please, I highly, highly recommend checking out this work and the medicine, the medicine, of cleansing and healing the womb and just balancing on all of these levels. It was a practice that really changed my life at the beginning of my journey into more embodiment into real pleasure. And something that I I really feel like I kind of called into my life right now. Because I feel like there's I'm at this peak of some, I mean, I think it's always available to us, but I really feel like just having this conversation has opened some things inside of me to to explore some of what you're offering further. So, Sabrina, thank you so much for being here. You are just such a blessing and such a light to the world. And I I'm just so so honored to be here on the path of sacred sisterhood with you so I couldn't Thank you more and just congratulations for everything awesome and beautiful in your life.
