Well, well, well, today's your old today, you're with another episode of Blue Mafia. We're back in the Home Studio. It's the Homes, dude. It's your boy. I got some vibes for you. We got Camp Vibes. Camp Vibes Update. We're gonna give you five things that we've seen that we like around here at Blue Mafia Bills, Lovers Everywhere United, and Lovers of Blue Cheese. So getting right into it. Number one, the first thing I like that is a positive sign for the Buffalo Bills out at St. John Fisher, which looked a little dangerous. Also, McCullough put some pants on, bud. That looked a little dangerous that clip that was going viral with the asphalt uh right off the stadium. Uh, just a reminder: your boy here did play there, uh, did get a concussion there on that field versus St. John Fisher. But we're not talking about Jair today, we're talking about the Bills. That did look a little dangerous. Also, I saw a video of Ty Johnson laying on his back uh on some wet asphalt, Ashfalt. We gotta we gotta take care of business there, uh boys. Um, I don't know. I've heard that this could be the beginning of the end for St. John Fisher as the host of the Bills training camp, but for now it's still cool and vibes have been high despite some bad weather. Uh, the first day of pads was exciting. You like to see a little fisticuffs getting out there, you like to see a little action getting out there under the pads. A little action is nice. But the first thing we have here at Blue Mafia is number zero, aka number one, aka number zero, Keon Coleman is looking pretty fresh. And if you listen to us here at Blue Mafia, we were speaking on how we felt Keon looked pretty spry. Uh, but so far, so good. He looked good in pads, he looked good in one-on-ones. Um, number two, another good sign in the wide receiver room, Skylar Bell also looking pretty fresh, getting a lot of action, getting a lot of camera work. People seem to be very interested in him. Uh, the camera has seemed to find him. Uh seen multiple interviews, things about him, on him, uh staying after practice, working with Josh Allen. So all the good things uh so far out of Skylar Bell. So that's number two good vibes so far. Uh number three. Elam Orr? We gotta fact check this. Elam Orr, I believe, is his name, oh Calem Elams. Elams? Elams or Calem Elams, or making a splash. We talked about it. This this defense is identity-less. We spoke about Jimbo Leonard bringing a new attitude to this defense, but a new level of composure and experience to this defense, having stepped on the hallowed ground of the NFL football game infield. But Caleb Elam's or making an immediate impact and laying some thunder, setting a tone in practice. Uh-oh. He hit Dalton. Come on, Dalton. He hit Dalton. Uh-oh. Big fight. That's okay. They're football players. I saw multiple plays that make you a little scared, to be honest, especially if you're probably paying these players. But things are physical, things seem to be going well so far. Good vibes so far, but Caleb Elam's or try to remember his name, oh. Good so far. Now, number four here comes from number four, little gookie monster. James Cook. The silent little sweetheart. What an adorable maneuver by number four for him to give number 17 his new golf cart. Maybe it was just PR, maybe it was all planned, maybe it was social media content. I don't know. All I know is there seem to be some genuine smiles in the video. There's which is rare from number four, as we know. And then there was some social media engagement from number four about 17. And that is about all you can ask for right now in this camp. People are sick of each other, people want to run into each other and kill each other by now, and they want to go home to their comforts of their millionaire families. But that's a beautiful thing, beautiful gift, James. Beautiful, beautiful gift. And number five, another one, as we know, Allen is important to the team. Well, but what we like to see is DJ Moore and Josh Allen vibing. Uh so far, so good. Also, DJ Moore with a little cape coming out of the back of the helmet. Little do-rag action, a little grimy season. I don't mind it. I don't mind it. It was a little sad to see Sean McDermott on Jim Rome. Um He obviously looks like a fucking wounded sergeant that's gotta go back from war and fucking walk on a bed leg and work in a factory or something. I feel bad for him, but I will be honest. It's been nice so far seeing the energy, the freshness, the freedom of expression of this Bills team so far. Now, will it translate? Will the disciplinarian exit and absence be a loss? I I think it will, but I I'm hoping as we know our theory is that the veteran coaching presence, Carmichael, Fox, Jim Leonard, as a a young but experienced football mind. A lot of raw quotes coming from the wide receiver room coach, but I want to say that this approach to this democratic leadership of shared responsibility versus the dictatorship of the Pope that was father deacon Pope Great Sean of the process church is no longer, but that's okay. Vibes are high right now, but it's early, as we know in the season. And that's why we're not gonna jump to any conclusions. So a lot of time left, but a lot of good things coming out of Bill's camp so far. On the back end, we're gonna hit you with five questions. Five things that I'm thinking about on some preliminary footage of camp. We'll see on the other side. Alright, our battery's about to die, so let's get through it. Number one, what's going on with Pat Mahomes' knee? Is it floppy? Is it skinny? Is it fleshy? Is it strong? Is it gonna blow out again? I don't know. It looks a little weird, they look weird. Vibes not great in Kansas City. Number two, I'm looking at Drake May. I'm looking at Drake May, AJ Brown, their entire offense. They obviously put up numbers last year. They put up a lot of W's last year. Can they repeat success this year after some offseason question marks? That'll be interesting. Number three, one of the biggest things I'm still looking at as a Bills fan, but as an NFL fan, this new look Bills defense. There's a new stadium, new surface. What is this Bills defense gonna look like? This is the one thing that has held them back in every game versus the Chiefs versus the Bengals versus the Ravens, all the great teams that they go up against. It comes down to the defense, and this is the new look defense. And I'm gonna be looking at it. Number four, getting out of here before the battery dies. Let's go. Hurry up. Number four, just go if I lose you. We'll see you again. Number four, Cowboys wide receivers versus the Eagles wide receivers. Really seems as though that NF NFL NFC East is going to come down to those two incredible wide receiver rooms as AJ Brown exits, but a cavalcade of wide receivers entered. Um but CD Lamb, George Pickens, do they cannibalize themselves? Do they become one of the great duos statistically of all time? We will see. Number five, combination, combination. Baker Mayfield didn't get paid. Come on. Give this guy some fucking money. At least just give him money so he shuts up. We don't need any more back against the wall, Baker against the wall. But this one is big. The Madison Beer, Justin Herbert, Mike McDaniel, love triangle. Who plays with each other's hair more? We're gonna be watching. It's a love triangle. It's gonna get problematic. I saw footage of beautiful touchdown from Herbert to McConkie. They're probably gonna do big numbers this year, but can they win when it counts? We will see. Those are just five little questions we got here on Blue Mafia, baby. Thanks for listening. We're in and out before the battery even died. We'll see ya. Like, follow, share, blue mafia.
