James “L.J./Jim” Lewis Sluder, Jr., 74, of Sandston, VA, was freed of his pain on August 29, 2024. L.J. was born to Bessie and James L. Sluder, Sr. on May 1, 1950, in Richmond, VA. L.J. dedicated upwards of five decades to being a truck driver all across the US. He was very proud of his career and retired from R&L Carriers.
