High school graduates from Henrico County Public Schools will be setting off to about 230 different colleges this upcoming fall – some in Virginia and some all the way across the country. About 56% of Henrico’s Class of 2024 will be going to a four-year college, while 16% will be attending a two-year school, according to a survey HCPS conducted this past spring. Most graduating seniors who responded – about two-thirds – decided to stay in-state this year, with the most popular schools being Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia Tech, and James Madison University.
