Partnership for the Future recently held its annual Reaching for the Stars Celebration to celebrate the journeys of the organization's 51 graduating high school seniors. All were accepted into a four-year college, and they collectively earned more than .9 million in scholarships, the highest amount in the organization’s history. The organization assists high school students from disadvantaged backgrounds in the Richmond region, and its annual celebration honored the new graduates and celebrated their college matriculation plans, internship experiences and individual scholarship awards.
