Cauliflower Philosophy
The mission of our podcast about martial arts mindsets is to explore and discuss the mental aspects of training in martial arts. We aim to inspire and educate our listeners on how to cultivate a warrior's mentality and apply it to their everyday lives. We believe that martial arts training goes beyond physical conditioning, and that a strong mindset is essential to achieving success both inside and outside the dojo. Through interviews with experts in martial arts and mental training, as well as personal stories and insights, we hope to provide our audience with practical tools and strategies for developing a powerful martial arts mindset. Our goal is to empower our listeners to overcome challenges, develop resilience, and reach their full potential in all areas of their lives.

Cauliflower Philosophy 31 - Appreciation Monologue about Gijs
Well this is kind of a monologue kind of an appreciation podcast about somebody that helped me a lot. There are many more amazing people in my life. I was entertaining the thought of of doing some of these podcasts about their story's for a while. Now and you know what lets start with Gijs.
Now there are some weird injuries you can get in BJJ and some might seem obvious but because you don't hear about them that much they kind of fly under the radar.
The injury I had was some sort of weird nerve damage because of a failed takedown attempt on my part that resulted in me not being able to feel my hand or arm for a while.
Luckily Gijs came to the rescue and this is me thanking him in the best way I know how to. This man is what I would call the modern day Shaman that walks around through a village and cures everybody with his mastery of pressure point manipulation. Sounds crazy but you know what seeing is believing so reach out to him and you'll see what I mean !
Hope you enjoy !
Love you all,
Julio Vinke.
