They're not calling the senders. They're calling the PS5, but we're going to call the Slim. I thought they were calling it Sony for PS5 Slim, but they're not calling the senders, they're calling the digital and the PS5 with disk drive. Okay, it's just smaller versions.
Speaker 2:
I'm going with the PS5 Slim. Yeah, me too.
Speaker 1:
So yeah, I guess I was wrong, mr Amazing, because everybody say it was a fake, with a guy showing a leak. Yeah, look, it's the same design. Yeah, it's the same design Same design.

He was like I'm going to give you credit, so we're going to talk about today's show is the PS5 Slim that we're calling. Most everybody is calling, but, mr Amazing, what's the release date?
Speaker 2:
The release date is for this holiday season, my friend. It's supposed to drop on. What is it?
Speaker 1:
November, November, but they didn't give a date but, according to sources, playstation blog was the source stating that they're waiting for all the previous models to sell out to really fully extend selling the new PlayStation models, which we'll call the plan.
Speaker 2:
Well, this is going to be the new model that's going to take heat headway once the current models that are in play right now are sold out.
Speaker 1:
Yeah, I mean that's based on all the sales. They're having $50 off sales on bundles. So, that explains why they were trying to. You know they're trying to get rid of this, so we start off the next row this fall and beyond these new consoles.
Speaker 2:
Yeah, so I guess by like 2025, I guess we won't be seeing any old models he probably see them use stuff like that.
Speaker 1:
So I guess you're selling them use stuff like that Secondhand model. What's amazing is 30% smaller than the previous models, depending on what model you got, but both of them I think they had different models, but it was like changing the inside, okay. So basically to me, each new model that came out is still the same. We call architect from the outside, so it basically is 30% for each model that came out.
Speaker 2:
So yeah, I mean it's 30% smaller. I think the weight was like 24% less weight wise as well. I'm, at the end of the day, be honest with you, so we have a go. Like you said, it was 3% smaller weight, 18% part of me and 24% compared to previous models. But my thing is the eye test to me in the same size though.
Speaker 2:
I mean the previous mod, you coming into over our test of like I know, yeah, I know, but my thing is like looking at the photos here and then I go look at you know what we have?
Speaker 1:
They both look bulky to me. I think they do slimmer.
Speaker 2:
It looks slimmer but still look big. Slim to me is what we saw with the PS5 and the PS4. That's when you consider a slim. I'm just going to use PS4 and PS3 part of me. Those are what I consider a slim version. Those are smaller.
Speaker 1:
Even the PS3, even if we go back to the PS1 days. Yeah, and PS2 games, those are slim.
Speaker 2:
This don't look as slim. You take a slim thing, but then again the technology and stuff is so much better now, like I'm guessing, you got to add more things to it Cool stuff like that.
Speaker 1:
So I mean until we get one in our hands. We'll check it out. Once we get one in our hands, it ain't going to be me. It was fine what would be happening. Because it ain't going to be me, because the way we say that let's go to the pricing, yeah, yeah.

The digital model is what Mr Basin for is the 459 4444, 49 dollars, yeah, 450. Practically so, 449, 99. And right, how much is the one we have now?
Speaker 2:
400 bucks, 400 bucks, and remember in a lot of areas it went up 50 dollars.
Speaker 1:
Yeah, sure, so the other is so that one price was $500.
Speaker 2:
Well, they said starting off at 449, 99. But remember go ahead. Remember that that's for the digital one. But if you do want to add the, that's not 80 bucks. 80 bucks, yeah. If you want to add the, let them know my.

So what? Why the hell want to do that? Because you get the key my personal, personally you might as well get the one with the distro already there is 500 bucks.
Speaker 2:
Yeah, you say. You say you save an extra. What? 30 bucks, right, oh same 80 bucks, because that one is for remember you. Remember, you're paying 549.
Speaker 1:
Yes, you're paying 30 bucks, but I'm saying if you add on, you're paying extra $80. We don't include the tax.
Speaker 2:
Yeah that's what you say. I mean, yeah, right, For that you just go with the PS5 Ultra and the Blu-ray disk and drive and everything in there.
Speaker 1:
already I'm not including shipping courses. You know saying, depending where you get it from, yeah, so I. It just makes sense to really get that PS digital because you're supposed to get the PS one with the drive. Yeah, I agree with you. That's the right I would get because if you consider buying this in the future or you have this you want to play now.
Speaker 2:
Yeah, I agree with you. I mean, like, what also has to play factor is the memory. So what is the storage?
Speaker 1:
Storage, part of me, the storage is one terabyte, which is a lot more than the previous one. Okay, but for the dishes a little bit less, though no same.
Speaker 2:

No, but no, that's after all the stuff. It's all the same, it's all gonna be the same.
Speaker 2:
All the same, I thought. I thought it was gonna be a little bit less, no Okay.

Okay, so then you're getting the same system over and out of this drive.
Speaker 1:
But the thing to be I have with this is you look at Microsoft when the leaks came, when they say they're doing refresher. Yeah, they're core one, but both of them digital. Both of them digital. Mm-hmm, the series X and S correct me, they're both digital. Yeah, the thing is, I believe the series X is two terabytes of storage. See, that's good. Cause you had an actual terabyte there, so that's a selling point.
Speaker 2:
And you kept. You kept it at the same price, right.
Speaker 1:
Same price for 99.
Speaker 2:
So that's a small buy by Microsoft.
Speaker 1:
It's all legend because they said things could change, but according to leaks, according to leaks, and we call the S same price, I think what they said 399.

Yeah, this front USB port and one in the back. Now I think it's four. Well, they have one in the back but then you have one in the front. Yeah, I think it's two in the front Because I find it awkward that there wasn't two in the front. There's two now, I think two in the back also.

I gotta read the thing again Either two, or is it a four or three? Okay, this is thank God for that.

You know what I'm saying. So it's to me this look like what is this for? What are the four? I mean it's a little slimmer. I didn't say anything about what's energy sufficient. I'm assuming it will be energy sufficient Usually, are you know what I'm saying? Well, mr Amazing, would you recommend this to consumers?

Well, I recommend it. I would say this I mean right now.

If you have a Consumer, have a choice. She get the old PS5 Digital and this, this model, or get a new one.
Speaker 2:
I put in this order. The new digital one would be the last one I would get because okay, the price, I wish, yeah, so that'd be the last one I would get. The first one I will get would be the, the new, slim, this drive one. Okay, cuz I'm getting more memory. Okay, so that'd be the first one I get, followed by the new, but find by the old, current Disdrive. Okay, then the digital one now, and then last the other one. That that would be my take on the.

So that's the round I would go, based based on the fact of memory and price rise. So, but at the end of the day, don't matter, because I won't point. You want me to find these current models and stores, unless you're getting it second hand.

It's always so it'll be still second hand, yeah yeah, you're right, cuz you know what these all come out. I might be training the old systems for it anyway.

It was a discount game stop, there's a sale, so I went there. It was on discount price, so I go up there. I lose my war points. Hold up, you know that's how they get you. Oh, okay, you pay for it. They look at the screen. They tell all the coverage. I said I don't need the coverage. I'm never asking to add the coverage.

Start with that notice because, like a really low price. It was like 30 is like 25 bucks for the controller. This new controls are $69 plus with the discount, with my points and with the discount on the controller. At that time you know saying the power down with notice. I look at the screen. Oh oh, service plan $15. I said no, miss, I'm good, but I hope I'm drift, I'm good, I got playing controllers so I paid $12 for that. Oh, not bad. And this is what game stop does to people. We not looking.

They'll put that protection plan and Michael, you could let that go get a commission.
Speaker 1:
No, I Let that slide one time. They got those. I wanted to win the games is fine, why not walked out the store? I was in the car and those oh shoot, it's like put like a five-hour oh Plan on it, service plan on it, I don't know, slide again.

It's a freak out because you buy a lot of hard copy games versus the digital one. You're more hard copy process. We know it is several times of the show. Have you ever had to use the warranty that you paid for? No, have you ever used it?
Speaker 1:
Oh no, I'm not only time. I was considered by a warranty made for a used game.
Speaker 2:
For use games yeah, I can see that I've never born a warranty on the game. Be honest with you, I'll be very frank. I never have. But if I was to buy warrants it'll probably be more than a console up on the console.
Speaker 1:
Come on, how good my rant previously on the game style, why they, I said, took too long, or. But it said in the contract for service plans that special, special situation. It was a special situation, but game stop was being a jerk. So I think of course we 100 bucks to change the district. Change the district I got fixed works perfectly now, okay so, and also to gain the wrong one puts you one terabyte. They only give me a half a terabyte storage, so I'm gonna put a little pimping out, put like a SD storage driving there. One terabyte.

Yeah, they embrace the community, still trying to take advantage of community. They don't been in a bit of a super, more viable. And also, when we talk about games that also thought games I shouldn't invest. Also make it indie games where GameStop is actually the ones that produce the games, yeah, you get screwed over because it will sell your games back. You know. So, you know saying, and, like I said, they could do a lot. They could have been Sponsors for evil or fighting term is cold.

Then I Thought about when, basically still doing the podcast, I will buy it so people see it and our homeboy could do a chair down of it and get the specs of it. But no, I, like I said, I will buy another console, but it probably Kind of a target like over a hundred dollars over points. Okay, if it's available at that time I'll do it. But also I want to buy the Von James cover. So I want to put a Von James cover on that one. Okay, so since we got like we have a whole bunch of, as a game of traffic, I hope, a bunch of games like places five feet of four games, and you got so many games here, including Xbox and various systems, so, um, no, most likely, no, okay, later on my I might get a digital one later on, but a fair but. But it posts, if you did your I might get, if the Xbox series s called digital one.
