Speaker 1:

Let's do this. Welcome everybody to another episode of the Game of Traffic show.

Speaker 2:

I'm your host, mike Sampson, chilling with my co-hosts, if you're amazed at what I'm doing today.

Speaker 1:

Everybody get up for Mr Amazing. On today's Game of Traffic show we're going to talk about Mr Amazing. Another game was announced earlier a couple of weeks ago from Xbox is going to PlayStation. Ooh nice. Which is not a surprise. It's not the game people thought was rumored supposed to go to PlayStation, but something different. I was not surprised, but hey, it's the world we live in with Xbox. We also want to talk about Concord.

Speaker 2:

RIP.

Speaker 1:

RIP Concord. But beginning today's show talking about great news for Microsoft, yo guess what's coming to them, mr Amazing? To Microsoft or to?

Speaker 2:

PlayStation.

Speaker 1:

Coming to Microsoft?

Speaker 2:

yes, I don't even know what's coming to them.

Speaker 1:

Marvel vs Capcom. Ooh, fighting Collection vs Capcom, fighting collection, nice, capcom fighting collection. Dos is coming. Oh nice, nice, nice. Previously they didn't have a release date. According to them, some technical issues have worked out Now it's about to.

Speaker 2:

It's always a technical issue. We'll go ahead.

Speaker 1:

It could be a money issue, but I don't know. But it's coming First. When it was announced it was coming to Steam. Playstation and Switch.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and Microsoft finally got their hands on it too.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, Microsoft finally got their hands on it.

Speaker 2:

Do you think it's the same product you always bring up on the show about having an SNX?

Speaker 1:

It's going to play Xbox One, it could play.

Speaker 2:

Xbox One. It's not an issue.

Speaker 1:

It's going to play Xbox One, it could play Xbox oh, so definitely not an issue. It's not an issue. I don't know why, but my thing, maybe it's a. Game Pass issue. You think? No, they didn't. They're not going to put that in Game Pass. No, you never. I'm going to put that in a damn Game Pass. I'll give my goddamn money. True, that's right, but I just think, who cares about Xbox?

Speaker 2:

It's probably, it's a big shot at them actually it's probably what maybe sold 35,000.

Speaker 1:

35, sorry, 35 million consoles. You know what I'm saying. If that and the Xbox One, I don't know what it sold under 50 million consoles. Yeah, give or take. Yeah, give or take. So they're probably thinking, well, why waste our time doing this?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I can see that argument.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so Microsoft talked to them, worked it out and Do we have a release date? Same date release of everybody.

Speaker 2:

For the other systems.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, november 22nd for the physical release for Capcom. I mean sorry, marvel vs Capcom.

Speaker 2:

Friday Collection Is that a day one for you? Yeah, okay.

Speaker 1:

Day one and Capcom Friday Collection Part 2. Which we discussed in the last podcast which we did yes, we'll have Power Stone 1 and 2. So I'm very hyped for that.

Speaker 2:

But do you think they need a Power Stone 1 and 2 instead of putting maybe like another CatCon game, maybe put just Power Stone 1 and put something else. What would you put? I mean, it's like a middle of the Street Fighter, so I'll be biased by saying Street Fighter.

Speaker 1:

But they have a Street Fighter now I know.

Speaker 2:

I know that's what I'm saying. I'm not sure. I have to think. I have to think.

Speaker 1:

Why you mention it for man. I'm just saying I think it's a perfect collection. I mean Plasma or Sword, I don't know about that, but you know some games. You just throw it in. Hey, maybe somebody might like it.

Speaker 2:

Maybe Somebody bought it. Somebody might want it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so we'll see, but I'm I mean I'm Well, that says I'm excited about it. I mean I got a PlayStation, so it don't matter you. I was getting it regardless.

Speaker 2:

But does that change your outlook? Does that mean you're going to get it for the Xbox now?

Speaker 1:

I might get it for physical copy. Yeah, for both systems.

Speaker 2:

Oh, so you're going to get it for both systems, or are you going to get it for one system?

Speaker 1:

If I get it for both systems, it'll be physical.

Speaker 2:

It'll be physical, but don't you think it'll be better if you got one physical, one hard and one digital?

Speaker 1:

No, that means you need to go buy your own one. Nah, I might get into that you need to come over and go play damage.

Speaker 2:

Yo, that's what video game sharing is for.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, All right, Mr Amazing. All right, Mr Amazing. Our next topic is Indiana Jones was announced. Do we go into PlayStation 5 this spring, which is coming out in when Mr Mazin, December 9th? Yes for Xbox, I'm disappointed by this.

Speaker 2:

I'm happy and disappointed at the same time. I'm happy because it's coming to PS5, which I have, and I thought it should come to PS5. But I'm disappointed at Xbox.

Speaker 1:

Why you said it should come to PS5?.

Speaker 2:

Because the numbers, the numbers, they know they'll get more money releasing it on the PS5.

Speaker 1:

The only thing I would say I was disappointed about.

Speaker 2:

It's probably the same reason. I have but go ahead.

Speaker 1:

No, no, I mean, it probably is. When they had Gamescom and they announced it, they made a big thing about it. They did they said, oh, oh, we got one more thing, and you see the PlayStation logo and you see Anna Jones. That's like nah, man, that's not cool, yeah, but all they had to do was show the PlayStation logo is also coming to PlayStation 5.

Speaker 2:

that's it with the other, with the other systems, that's coming to, I think, xbox at a point of their life cycle demise.

Speaker 1:

I mean sorry, I'm not going to use the word Demise yet. You almost amazed. You know how many times You've been hitting them hard For the past couple of months.

Speaker 2:

Okay, first, I'm doing too much right now. First, let me say why I'm disappointed with Xbox. You announced Indiana Jones is coming out For PlayStation. I think it's in April, april release, if I'm not mistaken right. This is coming out in December for those with Xbox right.

Speaker 1:

So we're looking at three more windows.

Speaker 2:

They didn't give a date.

Speaker 1:

It's April.

Speaker 2:

April release. They said spring on the year, spring 2025, but they're targeting April.

Speaker 1:

Most likely it's April, because some people might have said that summer.

Speaker 2:

We'll just say April for this conversation, right? So my thing is why would you announce that now? Don't you want to have a lot of bodies used? Because this is an opportunity for you to move your system with the holiday season coming up, so why would you? Why would you announce the PlayStation 5 release now? I would have done that. It's coming for Xbox guys, holiday season's coming, let's get. This is how we're going to move our console. Indiana Jones because Deanna Jones, because this is one of our biggest games. They've been teasing us with this game for years. So my thing is don't say anything yet. That's coming out for PS5. Get people to buy your system for the holiday season. Move your units. You got a whole bunch of new Xbox that are coming out or have come out. So my thing is they blew it. They blew it to me.

Speaker 1:

They blew it I look at it like that I definitely look at it, Michael.

Speaker 2:

what sells systems?

Speaker 1:

Games. Quentin Spencer's Goosey Don't Sell Games. Is he on crack?

Speaker 2:

We've seen it happen plenty of times on all the genres, all over genres. We've seen that happen.

Speaker 1:

That's in all different consoles. According to Phil Spencer, they lost the console war.

Speaker 2:

They did so. Now you use the games to move your consoles.

Speaker 1:

You just don't want money, though. Right, I'm going to say, according to Phil Spencer, they're doing a business.

Speaker 2:

Okay, I understand that, but that's why they created.

Speaker 1:

They're busy making money.

Speaker 2:

Exactly. But that's fine. I'm not saying not to do it, I'm saying monetize, get your money first before you announce.

Speaker 1:

How long?

Speaker 2:

After the holiday season. After the holiday season. After the holiday season, it's coming out December 9th. Holiday season comes and go January. Hey guys, we got big news again. It's coming out for the PS5 now. You can announce it in January. It's still releasing for the spring. What difference does it make? You got the sales for April.

Speaker 1:

But how do you go about doing that? You're going to?

Speaker 2:

go on a blog post and say that People do it all the time, michael, people do surprise posts.

Speaker 1:

I'm just saying how would you do that you?

Speaker 2:

could do it. You could do it anywhere. You could do it on Twitter, on Xbox. You could do so many ways. You could do it. There's so many ways you could do it. I just think you did it?

Speaker 1:

Do you think Disney told them hey yo, your numbers ain't what it should be. And yo, we want this to go to PlayStation as well.

Speaker 2:

That's fine. Yeah, they probably did tell them that, but my thing is you're still going to announce it. You're not saying no, I understand Xbox won't do nothing. I'm going to go back to what you just said. You said oh, Xbox is all about business, right? That's why they created All the game companies are all about business.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, you're right. But my thing is, xbox created Project Latitude right, which is the multi-platform release of certain Xbox games. You know, we had the new Doom right. That's coming on the. That's gonna be on the PS5 as well. We have Hi-Fi Rush, we have Sea of Thieves. These are all part of Project Latitude, where Xbox are allowing their so-called exclusives on the PlayStation 5. So now, and Daniel is part of this Project Latitude, so you're telling me Project One game could have just been announced a little after the holiday season. I mean, I think Xbox blew this one. This was a major fail for them and, honestly, if we had a topic, they would be my wankster for this movie. I think this is a horrible move by them. But at the end of the day, I did say it's good news for me because I also wanted to play this game and this was probably the game that could have moved the news for a lot of people.

Speaker 1:

But, mike, I don't know the inner workings of it. It could be Disney said to them. Like I said a few, minutes ago hey, y'all, we're looking at the numbers. You ain't selling that much consoles. You know we're not going on Game Pass. We're just telling you right now yo please make this go on PlayStation. I want this on PlayStation Now, please. We want this on PlayStation.

Speaker 2:

We want the team to do business, but remember, that was the rumbles from the beginning when they announced this game. It's a current PS5. It's a current PS5. They knew, michael Me and you both know. They knew this was going to be a PlayStation 5 game.

Speaker 1:

Well, people have called Phil Spencer a liar, saying that oh the four games they. So people are like, oh, indiana Jones. But remember, there was also rumors going on saying it was supposed to be Forza Horizon, which the dad would be like.

Speaker 2:

You crossed the line a little bit too much they already got their freaking grand tourism. You don't have to bring Forza Horizon on that too yeah, but I'm the same.

Speaker 1:

That's a story franchise with that system. I agree, I agree with that. That's like saying I won't say Mario, it is like Mario. I'm just saying let's say Zelda. Zelda, which is probably behind Mario, is one of the major sellers of the sorry Nintendo going to another system.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, Nintendo has three major sellers Mario, Zelda, Metroid.

Speaker 1:

You think?

Speaker 2:

Metroid, that's a cornerstone.

Speaker 1:

When you say Pokemon Mario, then Zelda. Those are newer iterations.

Speaker 2:

I'm talking about older. As for older, it's going to be Mario, zelda, I think, metroid. As older iterations, those are games. The Pokemons are there too, don't get me wrong, but they're newer, they're later generations, that's like mid-90s. These games are going back to the late 80s, early 90s. These games are going back to the early, late 80s, early 90s we're talking about. So definitely, I put Metroid because that's a Nintendo franchise, that's a Nintendo historic thing. When that new Metroid drops, people are going to go crazy over that thing. So I'm just saying, though, I think they blew it on this one, though, but each to its own and Project Latitude, you've won again damn skippy speaking.

Speaker 1:

Who won again?

Speaker 2:

yes, let's go to the next topic.

Speaker 1:

See if these are so over a million copies on the playstation 5, which is proving yo game is the business to try and make money and it's sold over a million copies on the playstation I mean, yeah, you're right, and the one that's winning is xbox.

Speaker 2:

Xbox is winning also in this situation.

Speaker 1:

Playstation also get 30% of that cut.

Speaker 2:

Oh, I didn't know that they get 30%. That's a high ass, cut man. 30%. Yes, baby. Why do you get 30% for a game that I'm putting in there? Damn, that's a bad deal for Xbox.

Speaker 1:

That's for everybody. That's for every system.

Speaker 2:

They do that? Yes, I didn I get underpaid me man.

Speaker 1:

What the hell man. Yo, yo, yo Yo, I'm doing all the work. I'm doing all the work, yo yo Doing all the work.

Speaker 2:

Can someone come with me to City Hall? We protesting man, yeah, yeah, doing all the work. City of Mesa was a high cut.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, all right, it's 50-50. Lucky I didn't say at that though, but, like I said, I mean this proved their point that, look, we put on PlayStation sold a million copies plus. We're trying to make that money.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and also it was PS5's best not PS5, but PlayStation's best selling game in the month of May. So that goes to show you Project Latitude is winning.

Speaker 1:

Yeah and plus. Like I said, what did PlayStation have coming out in May? What did they have?

Speaker 2:

in May. I don't remember anything in May.

Speaker 1:

We know what Xbox had coming out in May Hellblade, oh yeah, that was big, big what.

Speaker 2:

What, what, what Hellblade? Oh, I think somebody died before PlayStation.

Speaker 1:

No.

Speaker 2:

Hellblade, hellblade oh no, that wasn't.

Speaker 1:

I was honestly hyped for that. I thought it was going to be like, okay, they're going to make this like a God of War kind of thing. Yeah, no, mike, no.

Speaker 2:

Well, look at it, xbox is becoming a third-party publisher. They are the new.

Speaker 1:

Sega. A lot of people are saying that they're going to be the new Sega.

Speaker 2:

They are the new.

Speaker 1:

Sega they are. I mean, as you've seen over the past couple months, we talked about the Amazon Stick. Amazon Stick with the Xbox got sold out. Oh, nice, xbox Game Pass got sold out. Okay, so you know, it's again proving their point.

Speaker 2:

Okay.

Speaker 1:

But, like I said earlier, exclusive dual-cell systems, where you got a PlayStation, where you got a Atari 7800, or where you got you know what I'm saying Nintendo, exclusive sales system. I don't care what anybody says, you don't buy another system because you know you want to, because you just want to, because there are certain exclusives that you want to play. So then, you disagree with Phil Spencer, then yeah, I always disagree with Phil Spencer with that.

Speaker 2:

Okay, because the way you were doing it earlier today. I thought you was agreeing with him.

Speaker 1:

I don't agree. I always said no, no, I thought you were I said in the previous podcast. So it's just like no. And I always said, I always tell everybody it's a business first, it is God's, not your friends, it's a business first we all enjoy video games.

Speaker 1:

God for your family you know what I'm saying. So yo Phil got a mortgage to pay. He got kids to the college. He gotta make that money, that's true. And Microsoft invested Billions of dollars Into all these acquisitions. They gotta make their money back that's true and see some profits. That is true, I don't disagree with that, so I'll make it happen.

Speaker 2:

I don't disagree with that at all.

Speaker 1:

All right, mr Amazing Ah. One of the developers at Mr Amazing Black Wukong said that why we need Xbox. They probably don't at this point, and also with the rumors saying that some source I'm not going to mention the guy who put it on Twitter got this thought it was BS and I thought he should have done a better job collaborating with sources. One source you probably need, like when we do a thesis or do papers at school. You probably need three or four or five sources to really collaborate you need more people.

Speaker 1:

Microtron you need more people and I generally collaborate with just one person that was saying that, oh, sony has an exclusive black myth wu-tong wu-kong. Yeah, and we've seen in the past when something have exclusive, it's posted everywhere it's on twitter. It's on youtube commercials, everything that's true.

Speaker 2:

So my thing is like I call it bs, but I don't think it did its numbers in a place. I think it did its number in the steam and then most of the steam.

Speaker 1:

I understand, but we'll say so, I think it's so, I think it's up to 18 million I.

Speaker 2:

At the time when I did this, it was at 10.

Speaker 1:

But this is over a week, two weeks now. I think it's 18 million now, I believe it.

Speaker 2:

I believe it.

Speaker 1:

Hot selling in China.

Speaker 2:

Hot selling it is China's first, I guess, aaa game. Remember, they didn't. They didn't have the backing. China Studios didn't have the backing of the, of the industry, of a major, of a major publisher, because if they had a major publisher they would got.

Speaker 1:

They would got Fisco, fisco. This way came I was, so I'm like yo son no Fisco.

Speaker 2:

This is a rumor to come out too.

Speaker 1:

I was Sony or Microsoft. I was like, when it does come out, we gonna make sure we get physical. Well, I don't care about physical, it's not a game pass, yeah. So if it was Sony I would do that.

Speaker 2:

But this is the thing I don't understand is China's one of the biggest population in the world, actually? So my thing is, if you get a big publisher in China and there's a lot I forgot the number they gave the number, amount and PlayStation 5 was sold out at that time I know. Imagine the numbers you could do in China. So I think this is going to open the door and supposedly there's rumor. I can't confirm nothing because it's all rumor and once again take it with greater salt. It's rumor.

Speaker 1:

They have another. You got a source for rumor.

Speaker 2:

I should have wrote it down. I should have wrote and I can write it down.

Speaker 1:

No, you won't.

Speaker 2:

Go ahead, this same dude have. There's another game that they're working on that's supposed to be just as big, shut down the same studio.

Speaker 1:

Same studio. Yeah, when that game gonna come out, who knows? Like I said, it's all rumor.

Speaker 2:

It's probably gonna come out All rumor, but it might come quick or not. They showed the world they can do it and they did it 18, yes, 18 million. I think it's 18 million copies yeah, and the last episode remember we were talking about this game was on par with game of the year, games like Elder Ring, hogwarts, legacy, sales wise. Cyber part yeah, sales wise. So it's a 17. It's a pretty game.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you played it yet or not.

Speaker 2:

Yet I haven't bought it yet or not, yet I haven't bought it yet, oh okay. Okay, you did say that last.

Speaker 1:

I'm trying for the physical release, but there's no dude, they don't do. When this comes out, come out. But I bought a physical release regardless for that. Hopefully everything be just in there and we're no, no patches, anything like that.

Speaker 2:

So there are a few patches that came out right now. I played. It's pretty good so far.

Speaker 1:

I'm like I'm liking it yeah, like the ship, the ship shaping okay, cool how far you got not that far, dude.

Speaker 2:

I'm only like maybe 40 minutes in. Oh, 40, see that? Yeah, I'm not that far.

Speaker 1:

Because recently purchased, like I said, we both well, we both play Madden NHL, not NHL. Nfc sorry college football game and I just recently got Astro Bot.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I should have my Astro Bot this weekend.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and also I got the VR headset that.

Speaker 2:

I got. We haven't tried that out yet I haven't tried that.

Speaker 1:

You gotta try it. I know tonight we can't do it because we don't have enough time to do it, but you gotta try it out. I tried what game did I try? Switchback, I actually was don't know. That's super massive games. I don't think I know this one. I mean, if you see it is that the first game that was on the first vr. I said, which I can't remember off the top of my head, but I believe the makers of um dawn, what's the name?

Speaker 2:

until dawn, until dawn yes, you know, this time of year the beginning of fall and the summer is my one of my favorite times of the year for just games and TV series, because they all come back around the same time.

Speaker 1:

My TV series is not the same. I remember TV series have 20 episodes.

Speaker 2:

Now it's like eight episodes, yeah they break it down, but they all come back around this time. So all my shows all come back. So I'm like, when do I start? When do I start? So I got a few like you just named. Look at all the games I just dropped. A lot of them are sports, but me and you are big sports fans. And then you got from the 2Ks and Maddens, maddens, the NHL, nhls. You got all those that came out.

Speaker 1:

Plus you got a game like Astro Bot that me and you were both big talking about which one? Supermarines part 2 oh I know you're talking about. Yeah, yeah, yeah the Gears of War that we won, so bad that we haven't gotten in years. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm probably saying the title wrong, but that's the game I'm interested in okay, I can see that. I'll probably get it, so we can play it.

Speaker 2:

Okay, I'm all in for that, but this is one of my favorite time of the year, just for stuff like you just named.

Speaker 1:

right there, too, Also this month is coming out the Karate Kid video game.

Speaker 2:

Wait, the one based on the show now or the original Karate Kid, because that'd be dope if they could do a really good one based on the Korra.

Speaker 1:

Kai. I think it's based more on the Karate Kid With today's graphics.

Speaker 2:

Not like that old one.

Speaker 1:

Oh, okay, that's interesting Like a.

Speaker 2:

Dragon Ball I'm not talking about Double Dragon.

Speaker 1:

Double Dragon Teenage Mutant Turtles.

Speaker 2:

That's kind of cool actually.

Speaker 1:

I didn't even know about that.

Speaker 2:

Yes, Yo, mike, you're dropping bombs on me. I want to see Trellis man. Yo man.

Speaker 1:

I didn't know about this one. That's why I do all the work, baby, that's why one though? You know what I'm saying. But let's go to our next topic, mr Amazing. Yes, sir, our next topic is hmm, I don't know, I don't know, should we talk about this, mr Amazing?

Speaker 2:

Go ahead, man. Should we talk about it? I like how it's written.

Speaker 1:

We went to a Long Island gaming convention. It was a while back now. It was a while back, mr.

Speaker 2:

Amazing, didn't buy anything, I didn't buy nothing, but I did enjoy myself there, though Shut up. I wish I had his name because he sat with us when my son and my cousin we was there together and he broke down Famicom for us to the T. He showed us how the original version was. He showed us how you had to cook up three systems just to have one. Oh my God, he was so good to us so I wish I had to give a shout out.

Speaker 1:

I realized some of these games are mad expensive. I arrived with schools I wanted to. I saw the guy. I was like it was a hundred bucks, I'll get it. That thing was $250. Wow, I was like. I was like, no, I'm not having a gaming store in Long Island. Mainly retro games. So retro games, toys and also vinyl. I don't know if it's still so far.

Speaker 2:

Where's the game at? I wonder if it's on the right side way.

Speaker 1:

No, it's in Levittown. I don't think I've been there, levittown, near the Country Buffet.

Speaker 2:

Okay.

Speaker 1:

So it's in the indoor flea market. Okay, I've been there, I'll take you guys there, your son's too cheap to buy anything. The only thing Adriana want my little one. She just wants tall, not necessarily a little tall one. She wants the Nintendo Wii. I'll probably just get the Wii U with the Wii U Sports and Michael Jackson stuff, so she'll play that. She really wouldn't send that.

Speaker 1:

Okay, that's good, she'll find that I mean you can find it, you can find it, you find it. I bought a couple games. I bought a fighting game, an indie fighting game. I bought a Nintendo game, but it's based on Zelda. It is Zelda, but it's a fan-made Zelda creation.

Speaker 2:

I bought that.

Speaker 1:

You saw that I bought Dead, or you saw that I bought Dead or Alive 3. I bought what else? I bought a couple of Wii games. You know, I bought Resports Resort and I have it downstairs.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, why'd you do that? For I didn't know I had it. Yeah, you had it, I remember when you bought it.

Speaker 1:

I bought two of them. I bought one before and I bought it at the convention. How much did?

Speaker 2:

it charge you for that it's $25.

Speaker 1:

If you go to other places, people want $50 for that. That's not bad $35.

Speaker 2:

So how did you go to the last day you get the sales.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so that I got a couple One more other PlayStation game and I also got Monster.

Speaker 2:

Monster something.

Speaker 1:

Okay, monster trucks For the Wii. That's cool, that's not bad. You had a good time there. Yeah, I had a good time there. Mr Mazes, saw a couple Of guys I work with.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, Really nice young men, very nice young men.

Speaker 1:

You know what I'm saying. So my son-in-law Getting the people involved.

Speaker 2:

You know what I'm saying, so Might as well Get the people involved, you know. Shut them out. Shut them out, man.

Speaker 1:

They were really good guys. Yeah, those were my peoples.

Speaker 2:

Maybe this is the episode. I don't know if they got Shot on the camera.

Speaker 1:

Traffic they can be happy. Alright, mr Amazing, but let's go to our Trail of the week, mr Amazing, our trail of the week. You're gonna laugh at me. You're probably gonna say I don't think it's something I don't like.

Speaker 2:

What is it, Mike?

Speaker 1:

It's lockdown, mr Amazing. Oh okay, all right, let's check it out. No major stars in it, no real major stuff, but we're going to check it out. Mr Amazing's still moving the chair, let's see. All right, hold on, let's listen. Yo, let's listen. I know it's cheesy, we go live in 10.

Speaker 2:

Night-night.

Speaker 1:

Welcome to Death Row, the only way to live a life is as a champion. I once met you, an author If you can deliver bites is outrun your release. Foreigners train the freight. I want to make you an offer, if you can deliver, bites is outrun your release.

Speaker 2:

Michael white, you'll be met. Hang on a second. We came here to visit our dad. You are being held content.

Speaker 1:

To take you to the legal trucks. You're in a death factory. Unless you figure out how to survive, you won't. I can smell fear. I can get you out of here. Hello five cents August 27th. It just passed it's digital. I can see why, mr Mason, come on okay. So looked like Mike was trying to find something middle of the night to forgive the traffic.

Speaker 2:

Okay, so it looked like Mike was trying to find something middle of the night to forgive the traffic and he just happened to come across. This Looks like it's a little mixture of Oz me Fight Night. You know we see this stuff. I feel like I've seen this before. To be honest with you, I mean it's very, but it's not bad. I'm not going to sit there and kill it, but it's not bad. I'm not going to sit there and kill it.

Speaker 1:

It's not bad, it's straight to digital.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but that doesn't always mean it's bad. It's something you've seen on 2B. Yeah, definitely Like there was so much more that you could have put on there. But it's okay, we forgive you I wanted to put something.

Speaker 1:

It's something different, it's something interesting.

Speaker 2:

Lockdown, a green light nah, I'll tell you right now no yellow light, I'll give you yellow. I might give it red, because it was horrible. I wonder how it did.

Speaker 1:

Please, when you get a minute, share the numbers with me if it's streaming numbers, we'll try to check out the streaming numbers, but it's straight digital what platform had it? No platform, it's straight digital son straight digital kid, son Straight digital kid.

Speaker 2:

Come on, man, okay, hey, we'll find out then.

Speaker 1:

We'll find out. Man, what do you give it? Oh, what I give it. I give it straight Yo, straight green son. No, I'm going to say I mean, look, if you know the type of movies or low-budget actions, b action, b-movies, check it out, I'll give you the green for that. If you're not into it red light, I'm into the kind of stuff I'll watch it. You know the old-school takeout food Like, ah, let me go check out this, you know. So, you know it's going to be great acting, but as long as the action is good, hey, will you watch it again? Probably not, but not. But, like I said, if it's rental for $5.99, go right ahead. If it's one of those rentals where they say pay $20 to rent and $25 to buy, don't do it One thing we can never say If it comes to 2B, watch it.

Speaker 2:

One thing we can never say is Mike doesn't support indie movies, because he definitely does. No, you do. That's why I'm giving you credit. You do.

Speaker 1:

Hey, man Try to be versatile, I got everybody a chance you do.

Speaker 2:

I gave you that On the.

Speaker 1:

Game of Traffic show.

Speaker 2:

You support indie movies, you support indie games. I give you that.

Speaker 1:

Hi, mr Amazing, let's go to a shimmy-tack topic of the week, mr Mason, on September 6th. Wow, two and a half weeks. Rest in peace, shut it down. It was that horrible.

Speaker 2:

Like.

Speaker 1:

Chuck D said we shut him down. It was that horrible. Yeah, remember we talked about it last episode. It was like maybe 600 players when it first started and it went down to 100. Wow, so you know, I said this is the last day we might play it. Probably I don't think you'll play it today. It takes what it takes, a six, we'll record it. Probably can't even play it.

Speaker 2:

Wow, Well it came, I saw, and I didn't conquer.

Speaker 1:

It came, saw we didn't conquer. It came. It came, saw we didn't play yeah and the bottom line. Sony said that we'll give you refunds oh wow, get out of here yeah, the game was I mean my thing? Was it a making for years? Yes, five to eight years. My thing, my thing is that, um, I don't know, it didn't stand out.

Speaker 2:

It did like Fortnite to me, to be honest with you it's not.

Speaker 1:

That's not Fortnite, it's not a Fortnite drama. No, no, it's Apex. It's like, well, yeah they all liked it but it just, it just wasn't there. And I think at the time it might have been a hot game technically, they weren't pointing any problems with it. It just a hot game Technically, they weren't pointing any problems with it, it just wasn't my feeling it A lot of people just.

Speaker 1:

It's outdated, it's pretty much. You've seen the videos. No, it's nothing hitting anything. And you got people with identity politics. Oh, they included this one. They included a big girl, a black girl. Stop with the nonsense. If the characters are interesting and the powers are cool, you're going to play, no matter what race they are.

Speaker 2:

When did this become a thing in video games? Why don't people care so much on how a character looks for something that's creative?

Speaker 1:

Well, you got to step. People got set with um with the latest.

Speaker 2:

Samurai.

Speaker 1:

Joint, yeah, with Samurai Joint and with Samuel Jordan and the latest Jedi game where they say the girl's not flying yeah, you know this girl is. We'll say she's a thief yeah, and probably living on the run. She don't got time to go to the makeup store on the regular basis.

Speaker 2:

I got a question for you because back then I never remember when I was playing my Nintendo Dreamcast. That's a different era, yeah. So I was going to ask you. This is what I'm going to ask you Do you think as technology got better, the characters got clearer. That also made visual and I guess attractiveness not going to be the same become relevant, because no one cared about somebody looking at a?

Speaker 1:

video game. I think video games are now. You can see, some video games are story-based and some people try to put quote unquote a message in the video games.

Speaker 2:

Well, that's normal, yeah.

Speaker 1:

It happens in movies as well.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I think some people just don't like that and some people feel offended by that. And my thing with the identity politics, I think, like I said, I never played Concord, just talk about him, her. You know some people, people email, put the him, her, stuff, like that. I don't even care neither. My thing is like the game. If the game plays well, it's interesting, it got cool powers. The enemy characters maybe go ooh, look, that's not my chapter genre. You know what I'm saying. The Spider-Man game, not the Spider-Man game, the Marvel game that's going to come out, the online service game. I might buy it, but you know I know about it and a lot of people gave good reviews. Okay, concord, you know I gave good reviews and we watched the video. We've seen the videos and everything dealing with this. It looked like other hero shoes that we've seen before.

Speaker 1:

Okay, and my thing is that and I said a previous episode for. And my thing is that and I said a previous episode they should have made they was doing some anime series with it to get you flushed out and you can play some story stuff in the game. They should have just did a 12 hour game story game. Then put the multiplayer on. Try to make your money. Make a solid single player game. Then put the multiplayer on. Try to make your money. Make a solid single player game. Then put the multiplayer on. True, so people know the characters. Oh, this character is kind of cool.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, but they didn't do that well, and here we are now, guys, ladies and gentlemen, unfortunately somebody.

Speaker 1:

Somebody has me rolling well, true a failure like this? Well, they're not. They're not gonna put what you call PS PlayStation Plus no, of course not there's nothing to do with it. He wasted millions of dollars on this game. You know who you're gonna blame. You know who you're gonna blame who who you're gonna blame?

Speaker 2:

yep, he's not longer here, but that's what I'm it's your rightful.

Speaker 1:

But Sony has screwed up cause even with Forspoken. You know I play Forspoken. That game was half-baked. I know my guy gets to the same thing too. It's half-baked. Have you seen the game? No, this is unacceptable. It's unacceptable. That game should never have came out. Agree, and this game should never have came out either. Agree, even Redfall me and you when we were going to Xbox.

Speaker 2:

I was disappointed.

Speaker 1:

I was pumped. I was like yo, you got pumped to the point that I got pumped for it. The only thing I refer. The developers are best known for single player games and this live server is chasing the. Now everybody's going to come out and make money out of it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's not for everyone.

Speaker 1:

So you know what I'm saying. You come with five dollar serving games in one month. Nothing could never hit. Of course you know what I'm saying. So it's kind of you know, hit or miss, hit or miss. So, mr Mazin, should we care A little? Not at all. That conker shut down. That's the bottom line. Here it came it went.

Speaker 2:

I didn't even know, so I don't care, Mr Amazing, it came, it went. I don't even care. I wouldn't even know it fell if you didn't tell me. I mean my thing is.

Speaker 1:

I totally agree. I didn't really care. I just thought it was a mistake for this game to even come out and it was just. It just wasn't popping.

Speaker 2:

Mm-hmm.

Speaker 1:

So I guess you both agree, we'll figure it out. When Greenlight says we don't care, yeah, we don't care. Mr Amazing, let's go talk. Do you have a Gangster of the Week this week, or what?

Speaker 2:

Do we have a Gangster of the Week? I can't really find one, mr Amazing, oh man, I find one, mr Amazing, oh man, I forgot, I lost my thing, trina Thor, only thing I know you mentioned earlier this show.

Speaker 1:

you would give Xbox the Wankster of the Week for making a big deal for PlayStation 5. I don't know if Jeff Keighley made it. That's how he made the arrangement. Even so, I think you got to coordinate with Microsoft by this is what I'm assuming they gave the okay for that.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, they're definitely my work. Still, though, I don't think we have one actually. So you know I'm not going to dwell on it, but we don't have one.

Speaker 1:

Oh, the closer it is. I guess we don't have one. They're happy sometimes y'all. Yeah, a default one. We would say Microsoft, but it's kind of too late for that PlayStation 5. With that game, indiana Jones, kona placed in five, so damn no games this week but we have a shout out this week. Mr Amazing, please bring that shout out. That's how it goes to Astro Robot.

Speaker 2:

Astro Bot that's right, astro Bot ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding ding.

Speaker 1:

I said robot, astro, bot, sorry yeah 90, it's going like up on 90s and Metacritic it's going up in the 90s.

Speaker 2:

Another critic. Yeah, it is. This game is doing numbers. It's making a late run. The dark horse of the Game of the Year game.

Speaker 1:

Yes, I think that will. Black Mifun will know.

Speaker 2:

You think it's going to make a Game of the Year noise.

Speaker 1:

No, why not? It might get nominated.

Speaker 2:

That's a winner, but I'm just saying nominee. Yeah, absolutely nominee, because think about what games that came out. They said that's so big in China outlets.

Speaker 1:

The numbers are doing here strong, here too it's not just China, I think, because some of the glitches you're in Japan, I think some of the glitches are going to make yeah but they've been patching those up, though, and some of the stories like stories not that great, but game of the year, it will get mentioned.

Speaker 2:

But my thing is, what game 2024, what game came out that year like, do you have a top five game of the year? Games this year? Do you even have one? I gotta think about it. Astro Bot's gonna be there for sure. Spider-man Spider-Man 2 came out this year or late last year.

Speaker 1:

No, I still didn't play V Rising as a Castafaria game that came out this year.

Speaker 2:

Okay. So, Rising and rolling, you think makes noise. No, I don't think so either. Oh, I almost finished beating that game About time. These guys have been playing these games as long as I have. It's been months, and they still play it.

Speaker 1:

So I didn't give up. I stayed till. Fights won, he stayed till.

Speaker 2:

But he has no idea what's going on in the storyline. Ask him what he's saying and who he's helping.

Speaker 1:

I bet you can't break it down, Yo you can't be saying, you can't be saying that storyline's concluded. It is, it is a little bit actually.

Speaker 2:

Oh no, oh, you're the end. We're like you're going. I know you're right. Okay, I'm almost in the end.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that is towards the end actually. Yeah, that is the end, you're practically the end. Mr Amazing. So I mean, what else you want to say, mr Amazing?

Speaker 2:

I don't got much to say, man, but besides the summer year that I'm happy to be around, look forward to playing some new games, sports games. Nfl is back and be around the corner my bets are doing good. Yankees are doing their thing too fight for the division. It's a good time to be a New York fan. Let's just see what the Giants and Jets have to do, more than just because I don't know about my Giants right now.

Speaker 1:

All right peoples. This is the Game of Traffic. Show we out what you know what?

Speaker 2:

Wait, wait, wait, you know, forget it. Now we good, we can close out the show.

Speaker 1:

All right, that was a cool shot, regardless of who says something. All right, people, we Outro Music.
