Let's do this. Welcome everybody to another episode of the Gamer Traffic Show. I'm your host, mike Sampson, chillin' with my co-hosts. If you're amazed by what I'm doing today, everybody get up for, mr Amazing, a taste of Gamer Traffic Show. Yo, we're gonna talk about PlayStation getting sued again. Mr Amazing, what the hell is going on? Everybody's suing PlayStation. Your grandmother, your aunt, your uncle, everybody's suing. What's going on, mr Amazing, with that?
Speaker 2:I'm thinking about suing them too.
Speaker 1:Damn Skippy, I didn't get so much Sony money. We're also going to talk about God of War. Mr Amazing 20th anniversary happened a couple of days ago. Unfortunately. Bloodborne 10-year anniversary happened a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, bloodborne's 10-year anniversary happened and somebody didn't say jackdoodle about it.
Speaker 1:Oh, I didn't know, yes, see, there ain't anything about it. But again, today's show, talking about Mr Amazing, look, in the words of my fellow rapper, ll Cool J, game of Forma is coming back. It's been around for years, 33 years. It shut down, I believe last August. Mr Amazing, yeah, yo, it's back. Full effect, full effect, full edit staff will be back. Mr amazing, they bring it back with views, leaks, everything about game from playstation, steam, xbox. They're coming back and with revenge is mr amazing basically done video form. But they'll further get information regarding the magazine making a comeback. Remember, it was associated with GameStop and GameStop shut it down. Now it's called GameForward Inc and it was purchased by Mr Mays. You know again, godzilla, yeah, godzilla, not Godzilla. You know Japan, godzilla, Godzilla, no, a different organization. I believe the director of District 9 is involved in this the purchase of this and with them buying them, they're allowing Game Informer to be on their own and do what they want to do.
Speaker 2:Oh, okay, so they're back for effect, because I know Game Informer took a hit in 2022 when they had massive layoffs, and it gets people to recover. Until you know it shut down in August of 2024. So now doors are reopening, is it? We're getting full-blown access to it, it's not just electronic.
Speaker 1:They'll give us further information later on, a reference to a physical, not just electronic. They'll give us further information later on a reference to a physical magazine coming back, remember, game 4 used to be a full year every month. Then it came every six months. I remember that I mean not every six months, it was yeah, every few months Every few months, it was six issues. Basically it was six issues, yeah, so then it got shut down. So basically, after 33 years, they've been here for years and they're coming back, mr Amazing.
Speaker 2:Nice and do we know when we can first expect our first subscription, our first magazine to come out? Well, like I said earlier, I was still in the work.
Speaker 1:Mr Amazing, Are you listening? Mr Amazing, Are you listening? Mr Mason, Can I get the?
Speaker 2:mic. Can you knock on the mic?
Speaker 1:Is he listening? Mr Mason? Yes, and they had a video on describing what's going on. Let me play a little snippet of that video.
Speaker 3:Okay.
Speaker 4:We've got some big news to share today.
Speaker 1:Here's Matt Millen Game.
Speaker 4:Informer is back, and so is 100% of the team that was bringing you Game Informer when we shut down this past summer.
Speaker 3:That means production, design, video, editorial, everybody. Everything you loved about Game Informer before is coming back, but we're rethinking it and evolving it to be bigger and better. Game Informer has been around since 1991, and, yes, we were blipped out of existence for a couple months here, but we're back and I'm really excited to pick up where we left off and ramp things up to be even better.
Speaker 4:Of course, we were devastated when Game Informer shut down this past summer, because we loved working together as a team, but the thing that came as a shock was the outpouring of support and enthusiasm that came from you as readers, and from people around the industry, for what Game Informer had meant to them. I personally received messages from people who talked about growing up reading Game Informer and being excited about getting that magazine in their mailbox every month and what that meant for them, and we felt that that meant something and that it was something that was worth trying to fight for and preserve.
Speaker 3:So that's what we did. If you unfollowed us on all our platforms, like YouTube or Blue Sky or Instagram, I don't blame you. We disappear, but we have the keys back to all those accounts. They're active again, so go hit those follow buttons. All of that is coming back, including an all new approach to Game Informer magazine, both in print and digital forms.
Speaker 4:The short version is that Godzilla Games purchased Game Informer. Game Informer now operates under an independent entity called Game.
Speaker 3:Informer Inc. Editorial independence has been foundational for Game Informer ever since it was started back in the 90s and it will continue to be a sacred element of our operation going forward.
Speaker 1:Hi, Mr Mason.
Speaker 2:This is good. Good, mike Miller. It's Mike Miller, right? Yeah, the editor-in-chief, yeah, so that's good. It's Matt Miller. Yeah, you're right. No, you're right about that, I know.
Speaker 1:Yeah. So, mr Maze, are you excited about this, because this is a big part of gaming history?
Speaker 2:on game reformer yeah, of course I'm excited about that. Give me my favorite magazines, man. What a last standing magazines. Be honest with you, and then you know I like it, because it's not a PlayStation magazine, xbox Madison see, it's just a gaming magazine. So you got a little bit of everything. You get things that's coming up, what you look forward to, and then what made it One of my favorite magazines is the artwork in the magazines too.
Speaker 1:So you got a good idea too. So that was that's good.
Speaker 2:This is great news. This is good for gaming and this is amazing news, so shout out to Game Informer. I can't wait to have it, to see you guys come back.
Speaker 1:I just love listening to their podcast. I just some of the individuals who are formerly employees of Game Informer. They have their own podcast, mini Max. I often listen to them as well. So, like I said, shout out to Game Informer you know what I'm saying for making a comeback, and shout out to Godzilla for actually making an effort and believing in print media as well, digital media as well, and bringing back gaming journalism. Gaming journalism.
Speaker 2:I know that's big man, I mean not to be funny, but, like news outlets, don't make comebacks like this. I mean like paper, like you know, paper and magazines, that's the dying art, so for them to be able to survive and be able to come back. This is great news, man, and it's in the digital world. Yeah, mr Mason, so where are your top three video game magazines? Oh man, my top three gaming magazines. Let's see.
Speaker 1:And you're allowed to give honorable mention. You know what I'm saying for the fourth one? We're just doing three, but you're allowed to give honorable mention.
Speaker 2:Okay, okay, okay, okay. Now I got to think I got to. The Nintendo was one of my favorite ones. Nintendo eShop, was it? No, not Nintendo eShop. Nintendo Power, nintendo Power yeah, I think eShop was the Nintendo online. Yeah, nintendo Power, Go to yours, because I gotta still think.
Speaker 1:I have Nintendo Power.
Speaker 3:Game.
Speaker 1:Electronic Monthly.
Speaker 2:Oh, that was very good. That's definitely one of mine too. Game Electronic Monthly oh, that was very good.
Speaker 1:That's definitely one of mine too. Game Pro, okay, game Pro. That was good too. Sorry, game 4. I put your arm in mention.
Speaker 2:You'd be probably in the 4th or 5th Game 4?
Speaker 1:Game 4, yeah, you're going to do that low.
Speaker 2:I thought it would be higher yeah so those are mines. So I think we got two. I said Nintendo Power right yes we said I tried a game monthly, alright. So I have Nintendo Power, I have Nintendo Gaming and Game Pro definitely Game Pro. And we have honorable mentions. We got Retro Gamer, you actually read those.
Speaker 1:I never heard of that in the magazine Retro Gamer. Retro Gamer, you actually read those. I never heard of that magazine Retro Gamer.
Speaker 2:Retro Gamer. Yeah, that was pretty cool man. They came back. I think early 2000s. I think early 2000s, that was out. I can't get exactly.
Speaker 1:I never seen Mr Maze pick up Retro Form, but he said so yeah that was one of them.
Speaker 2:baby, that was one of them. So, yeah, those would be my top three.
Speaker 1:So yeah, game of.
Speaker 2:Thrones. Stand Up Power Game Pro. Well, game of Thrones. I didn't put Game of Thrones because we're talking about Game of Thrones. I was giving you the other aspects, but personal Game of Thrones would be there too, actually.
Speaker 1:Yeah, game of Thrones number four. I might be a special Game Pro for Game of Forma, if I think about it really hard, so I probably put Game of Forma ahead of Game Pro.
Speaker 2:Okay.
Speaker 1:But I basically do their artwork.
Speaker 2:Yeah, the artwork was really nice, even though I wasn't a PC dude, I mean PC gamer. Yeah, I used to look at that too, man. That was more of a UK thing, though, but I knew of it. That wasn't bad.
Speaker 1:All right, Mr Mason, anything else you want to say about this topic?
Speaker 2:No, nothing really, but it's good to see that. Come back and what might get, says, I guess I'll get mine too.
Speaker 1:Yo, let's put it Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back. What do you think the course is going to be?
Speaker 2:What? The course of the magazine? What do you think it's going to be? I don't know If you think about it today. I don't know. Do you remember what your last Monday subscription was?
Speaker 1:Remember it came with the game.
Speaker 2:The six month thing.
Speaker 1:From GameStop.
Speaker 2:That is true. Yeah, you, it was incorporated with that because it was a GameStop thing. I guess I'll find out Good news.
Speaker 1:So Mr Mazin interrupted me saying Welcome back, welcome back Game Informer.
Speaker 2:Welcome back.
Speaker 1:All right, man, Mr Mazin. All right, Mr Mazin. Guess who's getting sued again, Mr Mazin, Damn I hope it ain't Sony.
Speaker 2:It's Sony. Man Damn, how did you guess.
Speaker 1:A Dutch consumer group is filing a lawsuit against the mighty king of video games right now. Sony was accused of coming and abusing their market lead position, keeping prices ridiculously high on PlayStation Store. Mr Amazing Damn, according to their research, it goes as high as what we see. Mr Amazing Damn. According to their research, it goes as high as what we see. Mr Amazing, they argue that digital games are placed in the store cost 47% more than a physical version.
Speaker 2:Mr Amazing, I said that that's outrageous. I hope that's not true. I hope that's not true, man Hopefully. I hope, because that's ridiculous if it is yo.
Speaker 1:Because how do you?
Speaker 2:justify that? There's no way to justify that.
Speaker 1:Yes, it just fire how, like Wu-Tang said, cash throughs everything around me, but my thing is why is a digital?
Speaker 2:copy get the digital game dollars out bills more y'all yeah but my thing is, a physical copy should be more than a digital copy. That's what I think personally, because you have physical hardware, but that goes around all platforms. That the digital is going to be more than the physical. Isn't that the other way around you?
Speaker 1:could go to the store and then get sales for the physical games. That is true. And then you go in your store with an Xbox, playstation or Nintendo. You look at the freak.
Speaker 2:Yeah, but 47% markup is a big difference. I might get a cheaper one, probably like $6, $7 difference, but not a 47% difference, but that's never going to happen.
Speaker 1:Remember, you have partners like Walmart, target, gamestop, so they got to keep the Because they got to keep the price the same. They got to keep the price the same. I don't know man. When they first come out, when they first come out.
Speaker 2:When they first come out, I might be one of those three men who'd be able to sue them too. Man, yeah, but you can't have.
Speaker 1:Okay, a physical copy come out for $69 and a digital copy come out for $49, because you don't have to package it, we don't have to deliver it. They're not going to do that, no of they said they have partners for Target, walmart, gamestop and other video game outlets. Yeah, no, I understand that I mean video game stores that sell video games physically.
Speaker 2:I'm not disputing that. I'm disputing the fact that it's 47%. That's a big number, that's a very big number. There's no way to justify that kind of number. So I think, if these allegations I'm going to say allegations because we don't know if it's true If they are true, sony got something to explain, to do. We'll see, though.
Speaker 1:We'll see, I will see. Because, like I said, sony, you can't buy the digital card that stores, so that also limits what you could get. If you don't want to buy a physical, so you go to the digital store, the. So you go to the digital store, the Sony digital store. You're paying allegedly, like you said, that Zubin amount extra, yeah, which is which is ridiculous actually this is, this is me, you know, being out the box.
Speaker 2:Do you think the physical copies are 47% more because they're getting us ready? You're talking about the digital copies yeah, do you think they're, because that's what was 47% more? Yeah, so Do you think they're finished, because that's what was 47% more? So do you think they're getting us ready for the new wave of prices when it's all digital? Because you know all digital is coming eventually. They're pushing that on us already. So do you think they're getting us ready for markups?
Speaker 2:It's almost really here it is. I mean like this is like optional now. Hey, do you want this PlayStation, the disc PlayStation, you're the disc Xbox.
Speaker 1:For me, you and some others for it, and also think that reason why fiscal's not that dominant is because people who generate don't pass it on.
Speaker 2:Well, yeah.
Speaker 1:For example If you don't take kids to those conventions, they're not going to be like oh shoot. I actually put the cartridge in or put this in, and the whole game is on there. Yeah, and it's yours.
Speaker 2:Well, no, I agree. No, you're right, I don't dispute that.
Speaker 1:Okay, let's say okay, me and you play Madden.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Once you finish with it.
Speaker 2:we can't, let's say it's yours, you gotta delete it. Delete it.
Speaker 1:At least before we was able to obviously put it towards another game. You can't do that Wish I.
Speaker 2:Well, this is another topic I have for another day, but I have an idea about that. What am I going to say? To use this is this, though? Actually my son, you know your nephew he likes physical copies. He's a younger generation, so I give him that. But, for example, Manga.
Speaker 1:For a while he didn't get a lot of physical copies.
Speaker 2:He started getting into it when he started getting into Japanese animations.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:That's when he became big on digital copies, but for example Manga. Game Because he's on physical copies, yeah, physical copies now to digital because of spaces space in the house. Yeah, can't find you on the room which a lot of people do tell me too, it's better for it's easier to manage for space, oh, yeah, I think, especially in New York City, those small apartments and the way they build houses now is really small.
Speaker 3:If you have a basement.
Speaker 1:it's kind of hard to keep those physical cards Go ahead.
Speaker 2:Yeah, so Go ahead. No, no, no, no. That was just a topic. I was just giving you scenarios of like where and how we can work with different people and different age groups, so I can see ups and down on that. But we're getting way off on topic now because we're talking about.
Speaker 1:That's why I called him MC Choice when I rapped back in the days. You don't want to hear him.
Speaker 2:Yo, yo, my rap's the fire, fire, fire he's nothing like what's his name from Garden of the Galaxy. Garden of the Galaxy, the main character yo don't compare me to that, he's actually not bad. When I heard you, he surprised me. Oh my god, if I can't give his name, I'm going to give him his credit. Chris Pratt yeah, he was on so late night show that he did it. He shocked me, his flow. He's not like an Eminem, though, but his flow was not that bad.
Speaker 1:And he surprised me. My flow is ridiculous, son Yo, my flow is ridiculous.
Speaker 2:You want to come to bars right now? By all means, come on. Game of Tapping. Get some bars right now, mike. Let me begin the show. Okay, guys, let me stop right now. I'm ready to go. Let's start right now. Go to the next topic You're going to hold me back.
Speaker 1:Dude, you're trying to hold me back. Go to the next topic. Next topic I'm still more fast. Next topic Monster Hunter. Copies sold in the first three days and found Mr Amazing, when it's okay, became the fastest Capcom selling game of all time. Mr Amazing, monster Hunter.
Speaker 2:Yes, I never played not one of those games, to be honest with you.
Speaker 1:I have one of them. I played it. I didn't fully beat it, so they had to look at my large catalog of games to try to beat that. So, mr Amazing, what do you think about that?
Speaker 2:I mean, I'm going to give credit what credit's due and the fact that it put those kind of numbers. I mean, that's unheard of right now. And you just said it's the fastest kind of game of all time, all time, son, all time. So then shout out to Monster Hunters. I never played it. I can't say much about it because I don't know too much, so I'll be lying to say they just gave it to them. But credit, shout out, I'll let you take this one, mike.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah. So shout out to Capcom. But let's look at, it's a top selling game in the US. Okay, it is. The second is Kingdom Come Deliverance, part 2. Oh, okay, the third one, I would never guess. Civilization Part 7, I believe.
Speaker 2:Oh, that game's interesting. I was looking into that game.
Speaker 1:Mr, Amazing this game. I never thought which one. The PGA Golf Tour 2K25. Look at yourselves.
Speaker 2:Remember we've had topics about that in the past.
Speaker 1:Well, that was more the Tiger Woods, the EA, tiger Woods itself.
Speaker 2:Call of Duty is a general low-key sell. Very well, but it's amazing.
Speaker 1:Let's talk about this Yo. Nba 2K number five son.
Speaker 2:Wow, it's up there. Yep. Then why do people say it's not a good 2K? I would like to interview people with that.
Speaker 1:I don't know why, but Okay. Cold Duty Ops, black Ops 6, number 6.
Speaker 4:Okay that's pretty good, oh wow.
Speaker 1:Microsoft number 7. Like a Dragon Pirate is number 8. Grand Theft Auto Jesus Christ. Grand Theft Auto 5? Number 9?.
Speaker 2:Damn that game. Is what, 27 years old still going strong Madden?
Speaker 1:Madden 25. Minecraft, minecraft, who don't?
Speaker 2:have Minecraft Everybody under 15, man. I guess so when a child every child gets bored, gets a Minecraft, they don't feel Minecraft, I think they're bored in the house and gives them a Minecraft game to go home with. Spider-man's doing well. Spider-man 2. Oh, yeah, I'm currently playing right now. Of course you contributed to it recently. Yeah, I did. Currently playing right now Hogg's.
Speaker 1:Legacy, which I make fun of. I actually bought it for Christmas. It paid like 20 bucks for it, it's on sale EA Con Sports, which I have. I played Me and you haven't played it. We haven't really gotten to that yet. Hell, I thought it was two. Excuse me. Elden Ring, still strong at 18,. Mr Amazing. Dragon Ball, zero Spark, which I started playing, astro Bot number 20,. Mr Amazing, one of my favorites.
Speaker 2:So that's pretty good Question for you now, that list you just gave me. In a month from now, what gave you things to be top three? That's not there right now.
Speaker 1:Top three. Something for March.
Speaker 2:Yeah, well, yeah.
Speaker 1:Oh, I mean shit.
Speaker 2:What's up, mike? It's easy, mike. Come on. There's not much to think about, buddy. It's very easy. We're talking March. Yeah, it's very easy. I threw a curveball, man. He's just laying it up. Man, I threw a layup.
Speaker 1:I'm trying to think where I bought from March.
Speaker 2:Dude, you want me to tell you the answer? Go ahead, assassin's Creed. You don't think Assassin's Creed is going to be the top game next? At least top three. It has to be Top three. Yes, it has to be top three, top three. Yeah, assassin's Creed will be there. I mean, I've heard nothing but good things about it. Despite the backlash and delays, it's a very good game, from what I'm hearing. I haven't touched it yet, though.
Speaker 1:You don't think you'll get Bleach.
Speaker 2:Bleach is interesting.
Speaker 1:I think Bleach can make noise Top 20.
Speaker 2:No, I think top 10. Top 20. I think Bleach can make noise Top 20. Bleach is not popular. I'm not saying it's Dragon Ball level, but Bleach is popular and there's one more that came out.
Speaker 1:Bleach it was, and the one that you got MLB Show would be the top 10. Mlb Show absolutely 25 would be the top 10. That's the one you got recently?
Speaker 2:Yes, and what about your WWE games? You just got?
Speaker 1:Oh yeah, that's right. You think that's there Top 10.
Speaker 2:No, don't think like a fan.
Speaker 1:Think number-wise Top 10. Don't think like a fan.
Speaker 2:Number. Okay, top 10. Wrestling is popular, so Top 10.
Speaker 1:I just don't think the wrestling Plus. It got the bloodline storyline, but that's true too, so no top 10. Okay, then here we go and John. Cena turned heel. I think now you can buy the skin for that. Oh nice, oh yeah, that's the thing.
Speaker 2:a lot of people are going to Okay, so we'll see. We'll see.
Speaker 1:Mr Amazing. What do you think, Mr Amazing? We gotta go with it. Next topic is God of War anniversary just happened, Mr Amazing.
Speaker 2:Yeah, we look at the things like I gotta clap Yo.
Speaker 1:March 22nd Mark God of War officially, with 20 years, mr Amazing. 20 years of Kratos wrecking habit and calming down in the later games, being a father, being a sponsor, being an anti-hero, mr Macy.
Speaker 2:Yeah, he went from a jerk to a dad. Shout out to Kratos Damn it.
Speaker 1:That's a great turnaround.
Speaker 2:It is. It is. So, like you said, the 22nd of March we celebrate a 20-year anniversary. Monica Studio's been doing this since 2005 and, ladies and gentlemen, what do we get with a 20 year anniversary?
Speaker 1:you didn't get the God of War remastered. That's the only way I thought I was going to get. No, you didn't get the.
Speaker 2:God of War collection. No, that would have been nice. Actually, I don't know why I didn't do that for the old God of Wars from back in the days.
Speaker 1:Yeah, so they didn't get that A lot of fans are upset about that You're right.
Speaker 2:Yeah, but but tell people what they get. Well, you get a black and gold anniversary theme. So what it is is that you get in-game update for God of War Ragnar, where I think it's called the Dark Odyssey Collection, where you get skins from God of War 2. Yeah, rewards for what is it beating on the? Oh, you get the reward for beating up God of War 2 on difficulty modes Are they going to bring back the trophy Bros 4 Holes Say that again.
Speaker 1:There's the trophy God of.
Speaker 2:War. Oh yeah, there was, there was for that.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I got that. I mean Alice has made a big deal about taking the freak out of here. Man, stop the nonsense.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I remember that you got a pretty cool trailer too. I think they did like a nice tribute.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I saw the trailer. I saw that too, it was very good actually.
Speaker 2:I mean it's not as much. Don't you get a what it's more in-game stuff like weapons. It's like that black and gold theme they're pushing from the God of War 2.
Speaker 1:And you get a chance to go to God of War exhibit in California as well.
Speaker 2:Really, I didn't hear about that. Actually, I think so. If that is, I didn't know about that one.
Speaker 1:I believe. So you go to God of War exhibit. Why don't you look it up? See, the God of War.
Speaker 2:Look it up real quick, let's see Well we do that, but I kind of wanted a bit more. I was being a little greedy Like a nice surprise DLC would have been nice or, like you said, a remastered. That would have been nice as well too, but I don't know. We didn't get that this time.
Speaker 1:So do you have a favorite God of War game?
Speaker 2:Ooh, I like the two. I I like the two. I do like Ragnar and God of the 2018, god of War. What's it called? The 2018? Which?
Speaker 1:is God of War. I can't remember. Those are really good.
Speaker 2:God of War 3 was really good too, actually. I like the first one first one was yeah, I mean, they're all good.
Speaker 1:I know that I have the collection of PS, the PSP collection of PS3. I have all the God of War games, even the Ascension.
Speaker 2:People said suck but what God of War Ascension? I haven't. I have all three.
Speaker 1:I have all of them.
Speaker 2:I don't. I'm trying to see what you refer to, but I don't see anything. Is it like an exhibit? Yeah, gallery. Yeah, yeah, they did have that, but I think it's over now. It's over now, yes, so, yeah, so they had like a little gallery of music Music, excuse me Photos and stuff where you could look at pictures all Dude they are set. They were selling too, actually Wow, and these are not cheap. Whoa how much did it cost?
Speaker 2:Sold, how much did it cost? So you got a nice cradle picture in the back of holding the axe. Sold for $5,000. Damn, you got the serpent chain. I'm buying that these things 500. So we're looking at different photos and stuff which was on YouTube. We can show you guys more but these so the highest thing I've seen so far was for 5,000 the only thing I would get that there's a God of War statue with his son.
Speaker 1:It's like retail. I forgot what site would do it. I think it was like 815, I think it was $2,000. I would get that one, and that thing is like this big.
Speaker 2:Oh, okay, okay. So this exhibit was successful. It lasted from the 15th of March to the 23rd, so it had a nice run. It just ended.
Speaker 1:It just ended. It just ended the only thing I wish they did. I would like to do a God of War art book. That would be really nice. Or the storyline of how God of War and you know storyline of God of War, from God of War 1 to now. Okay, that would be nice. Actually, I believe that I have a Tomb Raider book that has that, and I also have a Sasuke book that has that. I also have a Titan book.
Speaker 2:I mean that's cool. That's pretty cool Question for you now when do we get the next God of War?
Speaker 1:Next God of War? Next God of War? Is it under this generation? Yes, Mr Mason, Glad you asked that question. According to rumors and speculation, it's reported by, I think. Is it Jeff Grubb?
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:What happened. Jeff Grubb reported the latest claim that a brand new God of War side story project will be happening from Chloe to Giant's Bar. Jeff Grubb, it's rumored to be a new Greek god of war based on his early experience, mr Amazing, so it should happen sometime later this year, allegedly.
Speaker 2:A god, but not a main story, a side story.
Speaker 1:Side story for his early adventures in Greek mythology. Okay, okay, I mean okay, that'll be cool, that for his early adventures in Greek mythology.
Speaker 2:Okay, okay, I mean okay, that'll be cool, that'll be cool. I welcome that.
Speaker 1:So it's like we'll say Miles Wilde's side.
Speaker 2:Side. Okay, so all right. Now what I'm going to say about that is, if we're going by the timeline, god of War 2018 came out. The God of War came out 2022, so that was a four year period. So I would think a new one was coming out in 2026, because it looked like every four years they had. I mean, the last two were between a four year period. So if there was going to be one, I would think it would have been sometime next year, because that would be that would mark four years.
Speaker 1:That would be a cross-gen game a cross-gen game. It would be a PlayStation 6, playstation 5 game but we don't.
Speaker 2:Those systems are not coming out in 2026 yet PlayStation probably will come out in 2027 that's what I thought. Yeah, I think.
Speaker 1:I mean PlayStation 6, yeah, I think that's.
Speaker 2:We'll look more towards that time frame, but I mean if they were going to draw a God of War game, it would be technically 2026, because the last one was 2022 and they do 2026.
Speaker 1:I mean 2026 game. Yeah, and it comes with a PlayStation 5. It's going to be crossover with the PlayStation 6.
Speaker 2:Oh, absolutely, of course you know PlayStation love their remasters. Of course. Oh, that's bread and butter Keeping the lights on. Absolutely, man Go ahead, Monica Studios. Do what you got to do, monica, okay alright.
Speaker 1:Mr Amazing alright, mr Amazing, this week I got. Next, mr Amazing. Coming up is the trailer of the week. Mr Amazing, alright, it's a franchise that's making it's final comeback, not final comeback, it's finally making a comeback, mr Amazing, what?
Speaker 2:are we talking?
Speaker 1:about Final Destination Bloodlines. I'm the horror fan I've seen. Final Destination a long time. I have seen all of them. I believe I have every movie on Blu-ray.
Speaker 2:Wow, impressive. I can borrow from you. You're going to steal from me.
Speaker 1:Well, that's true, I let Mr Amazing borrow stuff. Right, I gave Mr Amazing, I told the story time. The last one never really played it. I came with another game it was Sleeping Dogs, never played it. Horizon. I don't give a shit, I'm like yo.
Speaker 2:Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. They're going to be playing one eventually, Eventually by somebody else.
Speaker 1:By someone else. All right, people, let's kick it. Final Destination Final Destination Borderline Trailer. Let's do this.
Speaker 4:Family. You don't get to pick the one you get. Just gotta love the one you got. I always knew this day would come.
Speaker 1:I got it.
Speaker 4:I don't think you got it. I held him off for years. Charlie, get up here. He's a relentless son of a bitch.
Speaker 3:We'll stop till he finishes the job.
Speaker 2:Death is coming for our family.
Speaker 4:Oh, oh, oh oh oh oh oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh oh oh oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh oh oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
Speaker 4:I saved a lot of lives that night. Everyone needs to get off the dance floor lives that were never meant to be saved. But death doesn't like it when you mess with his plans. This book, it will show you everything you need to know to keep our family safe. It all started with grandma. Death is coming for us because we were never supposed to exist. What?
Speaker 3:only by embracing death will it pass you by. Maybe that's not actually coming for our family, because that would be crazy.
Speaker 1:Good luck, mr Maynard. Final Destination Bloodlines. What do you think about it coming out May 6th? Could we green light it, red light it or y'all like this trailer.
Speaker 2:Oh, definitely green-lighted. This got my attention. It's a good summer movie. Start of the summer, I should say.
Speaker 1:That's what I think. It's probably the last performance by Tony Todd, the guy who also voiced Venom, venom, yeah, yes, it seems very interesting. The same. It's more like you said, a rebirth of it, a rebirth yeah, a rebirth of it. So not a remaster or remake, but a rebirth of the series Seems very interesting. Hopefully get a second trailer that might tell more detail, but this actually gives you the exact details.
Speaker 1:what's going on in the story yeah yeah, let's say, watching a video form, it shows like um previous um. They're giving hints to previous um movies prior to this prior ones yeah yeah. So, mr mazes, so you say you green light? Yeah, yeah, about you. I totally agree, green light, this trailer yeah, me too.
Speaker 2:It's a good movie.
Speaker 1:Yeah, very soon, about a month, and change. I think the movie we greenlighted was it Love Hurts.
Speaker 2:That's the last we did. We did greenlight that, yeah, we did. That movie is bombed.
Speaker 1:Oh man, and then three weeks later it was streaming, hey.
Speaker 2:Hey, can't get my children all the time, huh.
Speaker 1:So I spoke to this girl. She said so the first day sounds horrible. Oh damn, sounds horrible. We didn't know. Damn, damn, damn, damn. All right, mr Amazing, let's go to our Should we Care topic of the week. Mr Amazing, let me start off with this. What do you think the Should we Care topic of the week is, mr Amazing, let me start off with this. What do you think? The sweet care?
Speaker 2:topic of the week is Mr Amazing. What are we talking about?
Speaker 1:Yo. Playstation is teamed up with Raylo to launch a rental service based in the UK for the PlayStation 5, playstation Pro and the PlayStation Portal, and also the PlayStation VR set. Mr Mason, mm-hmm, damn it. What do you think about this? Okay, split.
Speaker 2:All right, I looked at it. So you get a kick for your buck depending on how long the rentals are. They go from one year, two year to three year. The shorter the rental, the more money you're going to pay monthly. So, for example, let's say you rent a PS5, right, A 36-month contract will be $24.50 per month, which is more money than what the console costs.
Speaker 1:So this is like $800? Yeah, $800.
Speaker 2:Yeah, so you'd pay about a hundred bucks more, give or take something like that yo both just go to carna, just go to carna, go to carna, or go to zip and pay that way, yeah, just put like a couple hundred down and then go to carna, that's what I'm thinking, so go ahead so you're right.
Speaker 2:Actually, I agree with you on that one. So I think something like that is good for maybe be. I think if I was to get something on this, it would probably be a VR, because there's not that much game to get on it. You rent it for a little much. You could bring out the hot games you want and rent it right back. To be honest with you, yeah, but it's cheaper.
Speaker 1:now you might as well just get the VR headset.
Speaker 2:Yeah, so this is Apparently this thing, it's not, it's probably popular In the UK. In the UK, I think, you said what was it? Ray Law? Something like that.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that's the company they teamed up with To do this yeah, I just don't see this making sense.
Speaker 2:To me it kind of reminds me of Rent-A-Center, where you get stuff and you bring it over.
Speaker 3:Is.
Speaker 2:Rent-A-Center still around your rent incentive, to be honest with you. So I just don't see the point of you paying. Well, at least rent incentive to keep it after you pay for it. Yeah, that's right, because you're going to pay. I'm happy you said that because this is a kicker. You get a three-year contract. You're paying $24.50, so you're going to pay more than what the system costs. Then you're going to retire it.
Speaker 1:So least. If you do any damage, you pay more yeah, of course you, of course. Anything you dad, you gotta pay more the thing I found funny, I found it strange the the dual set edge wireless. You can rent that. Yeah, I was going, I didn't control, I didn't know. No, I saw that. I was like no and no, I saw that too.
Speaker 2:I was like get, get out of here they said, the PS Portal, the DualSense Edge and the PS VR and the PlayStation 4. Obviously.
Speaker 1:I understand like you wanna test the portal, so you wanna fill out the month. I'll do that like alright. I might do that, alright boom. Or if I could say, vr that's probably what I would've got a, I'm going to still buy it. If I buy it, I'm going to buy it.
Speaker 2:I get it. I know if you're strapped for cash, this sounds like the best dream. Well, 24, 50, I can cough that up. That's nothing, but it's not a win. You just got into a bad contract. I look at it as a bad contract for you because you don't get to keep the system. No, it's not a lease option to buy, so no, it's not worth For that. Get a credit card, get an 18 month no interest pay and try to purchase it through the 18 months. I think that you're better off than that, but I digress.
Speaker 1:Oh, we also, so should we care a lot, a little, not at all.
Speaker 2:Not at all for me at all man. Even if you broke, you got the money.
Speaker 1:I think it's you something, Sony. You get the gangsta of the week for doing what if you put people out? And the people who buy this are the wasters?
Speaker 2:I agree with you. Sony's a gangsta and a consumer of wax.
Speaker 4:Get the hell out of here.
Speaker 2:No options to buy it. You don't keep it. Hell, no God, that's what they said. Got another sucker. Ring the bell, mr Amazing, do we ding?
Speaker 1:ding, ding, ding ding Mr.
Speaker 2:Amazing. Do we have a shout-out of the week? Nothing in particular, but shout-out to St John's. They made the tournament.
Speaker 1:Yo real shout-out loser.
Speaker 3:They lost, you know, they haven't made it forever, they lost they lost.
Speaker 2:I'll going to shout out my brother, lord Harry, what.
Speaker 1:I'm going to give him his credit.
Speaker 2:He partake in the Spartan race. He finished it because we all make fun of him, but he finished it. He got the trophy and he wants us all. He called us all out, even you two. Everybody join him. I'm going to give him a shot on the win because he deserved it.
Speaker 1:Yeah, okay, he deserves it. When's the win in New York?
Speaker 2:It's going to be at some stadium, I think in October. It's in a stadium, yeah, so you do obstacles in the stadium? Yeah, man it's.
Speaker 1:Yo tell Adriana she's going to come. It's my over-the-shoulders car with me.
Speaker 2:So you know it's in October this year, in the cold, so it's. But no, october's not cold, though Remember October's it's the fall, but remember, you want that weather, you don't want hot weather you don't want hot weather, it's. September, mid-september, no October's good Because. October. You're what 50s? You're still in the 50s. It's like Kind of like a little bit Cooler than that. It's $84. The longer you wait, you can go to something. I'll think about it. I said the same thing too but I was like, why not?
Speaker 1:I got to see the high schools because I can't be y'all. I can't be y'all. There's nothing crazy. We're pointing to Graham Trafford from North Shore High School so we're not.
