Let's do this. Welcome everybody to another episode of the Game of Traffic Show. I'm your host, Mike Sampson. Tune in to my co-host.
Speaker 2:Tip your maze. How am I doing today?
Speaker 1:Everybody get up for Mr Amazing. I'm Taze. Game of Traffic Show. We're going to talk about the latest leaks on the Xbox. Handheld is Game of Trap for sure. We're going to talk about the latest leaks on the Xbox handheld. We're also going to talk about the new DC movie, mr Amazing. But begin today's talking about what Mr Amazing, grand Theft Auto. You was right, it was delayed.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I was right. We see no trailer in over a year when games come out. You don't see another trailer in over a year. When games come out, you don't see another trailer in over a year and the second trailer you get is to let you know that it is going to get delayed. But here is a little something, something to hold you over. Yeah, so a lot of people saw May and they were like it got pushed up.
Speaker 1:No, it got. You'll have a copy and they're putting it in your systems right now. You're in a play, but for now, no, no, no, no, this was correct terminology, allegedly allegedly.
Speaker 2:Allegedly you're right, but I think this time it's going to come up because they gave us an actual date.
Speaker 1:You think the actual date was before and they delayed Grand Theft Auto.
Speaker 2:For Grand Theft Auto 5, yeah, they gave us not 5, we're talking about the one, because the 6 that they've been working on yeah, but 5 is the same thing, even Red Dead Dempster. Red Dead. They did, which is true. You know, you're right, you're not lying about that part 2, they did, yeah.
Speaker 1:Red Dead Dempster has part 2, right yeah?
Speaker 2:so, but this time I think we're always come out in May. I don't remember when I said that we were predicting it was going to come out, I said it's probably going to be May, because Rockstar tends to come out in May. And guess what? I think it's official because they stated it for a May date and it's been too long. I don't think the consumers can wait another. There's no People are going to be satisfied with another delay. I wish when they delay games they give a specific reason why, like oh, because we didn't get whatever it is.
Speaker 1:I wish, I wish they would say that, because I'm curious, I'm just curious because I'm a curious mind why games are delayed.
Speaker 2:And then why is it delayed for a year, though? Yeah?
Speaker 1:they're going to tell you why it's delayed More you got official patches, more polish. So wait, wait, what specifics?
Speaker 2:are you going to get me, for example, like what I want it to be like, for example, the easy way I would have been like, well, the easy way I want what you just said? Actually it needs to be polished. No, I want to know like more specifics, like what I'll tell you exactly what. Listen on, for example, on this map and the map. We realize that something happened, there's glitches in the map. Like I want specifics, I want to know why. Like I want to know why, because, again, I guess they had to work with it.
Speaker 1:They got to, you know repair glitches and you know Bless everybody, bless everybody. Yeah, but they might have more glitches than they expected to have. So, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2:I mean yeah, I mean we saw we might have to do some voice, voice overs over again possibility.
Speaker 1:So there's a lot of stuff that goes into it.
Speaker 2:I mean, we've seen it with the popular game, cyberpunk. Right, we've seen it with that. And then and the big polished game when they got it cleaned, and then it had to be game when they got it cleaned and it hadn't been a game. No, the game went out, Mr Bay.
Speaker 1:It went out unpolished that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I'm saying like do you think Red Dead 4 could have done that, or it's just too big of a franchise?
Speaker 1:It's 13 years until the last one came out, that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 2:Would you have been satisfied if they did what Cyberpunk did Release the athletes?
Speaker 1:That would be a big screw up on their part.
Speaker 2:It would have, but I still think people would have bought it. I still think it would have made the numbers.
Speaker 1:And it would have been polished like Cyberpunk. No, no.
Speaker 2:I agree with you, no, but I think they still could have done it though they still got their money and I'm happy Don't get me wrong.
Speaker 1:I'm happy they didn't do.
Speaker 2:Yes, I don't know about travesty as it would. I mean for getting anticipated. I mean yeah, but okay. So my thing is do you think a year, literally a year, is justified for this kind of delay For the stuff that you say? You think a?
Speaker 1:year is justified, look, but what I'm saying is that there's several reasons why it could be delayed. They're going to give us milks and crannies where actually all the Easter lay they have. Mr Maze, they probably bugs. They got to fix voiceovers, got to be done probably some extra animation. And you know you're doing this for two different systems Xbox and the PlayStation 5.
Speaker 2:I still don't think that it's a year's worth of delay. I don't think that's why you had a game that was supposed to come out this fall, right, and all of a sudden you were from this fall.
Speaker 1:I know we're not having this conversation. I don't think it works when you're delayed. My thing is, you ask this question, but you don't ask this question about other games when they get delayed.
Speaker 2:There's no game bigger than this game, Michael. There's no game bigger than this on any platform. Name one game bigger than Grand Theft Auto.
Speaker 1:There's no game bigger than Grand.
Speaker 2:Theft Auto You're asking. Why am I asking you that? Because there's no game bigger than that and this game hasn't been out in 12 years, Going to 13 when it gets released.
Speaker 1:Yeah, but it's amazing what you're saying. What you're saying, I understand what you're saying. I understand what you're saying, but they're not going to go super duper in detail. No one in Canada put this game out in any condition. This is Grand Theft Auto 6, like you said, a highly anticipated game of the year. This is supposed to be giving boosts to the Xbox and Playstation 5 consoles. I understand that, according to reports due to Grand Theft Auto being delayed for the holiday season. They're going to be a decrease in console sales because of this.
Speaker 2:Well, I agree with that. I think that they go hand in hand. I absolutely agree with that.
Speaker 1:But my thing is and there's also this lawful expectation You're not going to send crap out there. Of course they can. Not going to send crap out there. Of course they can't afford to send a B-minus product out there, no.
Speaker 2:I agree with all that statement, but my thing, what I'm telling you is, I don't think a year delay.
Speaker 1:No, no, no, there's several games. I don't think it is. It's not warranted. A year is not warranted.
Speaker 2:It's not a year is not warranted.
Speaker 1:Are you a game developer? Are you in there and know what's going on?
Speaker 2:No, because when you tease a game for as long as they've been teasing them, then you we've known about this game coming out in 2024.
Speaker 1:That's ridiculous. 2023, 2024, I don't remember now.
Speaker 2:And then you said we're coming out in the fall, so why can't you come out early part of your January? Why does it need? You need a whole entire year. You need literally a whole year for a game that's supposed to come out in the fall. That means you lied. That's what it means to me. It means you lied to the consumers. You knew for a while this game wasn't going to come out. You didn't wake up yesterday and say we're going to push it for a year. That's look at, you lied.
Speaker 1:Say what you want to say.
Speaker 2:They lied, that's what you're saying Keep it real black, this game's coming out in a year from now. Don't tell me it's coming out in the fall. You knew from the beginning this game was going to come out in the fall.
Speaker 1:You had a lot of people hyped up for nothing. Sony has done that before. They say a game's going to come out, but they had to make a delay the game. They've done it before in several games.
Speaker 2:But not this kind of delay. A year's delay, michael. Yes, we've seen months delays.
Speaker 1:I've seen years. We've seen years delays.
Speaker 2:We've seen two, three months, four months, I don't think we've seen a year, mr Mays.
Speaker 1:We've seen games and that's such a stupid game. You've seen games be announced and never heard from again and say post-court next year and never.
Speaker 2:Yes, you're right, you're not wrong at all, but I'm talking about, on such an anticipated game, on one of the biggest games ever. I'm not talking about, I don't know, I can't even tell you. I'm not talking about your typical Goza Yuta, goza Yushishima, whatever. I'm not talking about that. I'm not talking about Mafia 4. I'm talking about a big triple.
Speaker 1:A game.
Speaker 2:The game that's supposed to set the market at a $100 price point that everybody's assuming they might cause. I'm talking about this game. This is not your typical game, the game that everybody goes online for, the game that they were going to have midnight release the only time we see midnight release was back in the days or for new systems like the Switch that's going to come out, we're going to see midnight releases. This is what this game was going to do. So that's what I'm saying. I think that this is not warranted because they lied. This game was never going to come out in the form it never was.
Speaker 1:It never was, and I told you that, but my thing is, you say warranted. You said Please explain that.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I'll tell you what. I'll tell you what was warranted Warranted was saying that, remember you said you thought the game was going to come out this year. I said, hell, no, we haven't seen the trailer yet. Okay, which is true. Remember I said that I said this game's not coming out this year. I said this game's not coming. There's no other games coming out this year. My thing is that when the I can bring this to such a, they already knew that already and Grand Theft Auto, Rockstar has, like you said, from Red Dead and other iterations of their games.
Speaker 1:Red Dead Redemption Part 2. Yeah we saw that we forgot they had a Part 2 to it.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it was a good game actually, but we've seen it before. But my thing is just say we're not coming out. We'll be out sometime next year. Just kept it real from the beginning. You have people hyped for this. You probably had somebody buy their buy an Xbox or a PlayStation already because they anticipated it coming out.
Speaker 1:This fall. It's like Mr Mazin is mad. He's personally mad at everybody. He's taking it out. He's taking it out on developers Mad as hell, and it's so funny because my cousin bought one too.
Speaker 2:Bought what no-transcript? A PlayStation recently, because he thought it was coming out.
Speaker 1:He plays no games.
Speaker 2:This is the only game he plays. He doesn't play no games, but this game, because he still plays Grand Theft Auto V, like it just came out yesterday. He only bought a PlayStation 5 two weeks ago because he thought it was coming out.
Speaker 1:Well, it is what it is man Sorry cuzzo Sorry, all right, it is what it is. Man Sorry cuzzo Sorry, all right. Found some new games to play.
Speaker 2:So there's other games coming out, we do. We do. We can talk about one soon, but go ahead, man. I just think your argument is just.
Speaker 1:I think it's valid, because they lied, they lied, they lied, they lied.
Speaker 2:They knew in January, they knew in February, they knew in March. January, they knew in February. They knew in March. They said damn, we can't do it no more. Tell the guys the truth. We're coming out a year from now. They denounced it. What two weeks ago? Come on, they knew, they knew.
Speaker 1:But I regress man, it is what it is.
Speaker 2:We'll get it in a year from now, unless you said allegedly Allegedly, but we did get a trailer. We can't over talk. We can't talk about this. We didn't mention the trailer. And from the trailer, what did you get from that? It looks good, it looks good, but from that it looks like we're in Miami, right.
Speaker 1:It looks like a next gen game. It does, it said. According to Rockstar, the game feature in-game play and cinematic cut scenes. So within the first 24 hours, rockstar had over 475 million views. I believe that. Yeah, within 24 hours. And the only thing that came close to that is guess what was amazing. It's not a video game.
Speaker 2:Not a video game, no A movie.
Speaker 1:I'm guessing yes.
Speaker 2:Probably one of the Marvels, I'm guessing.
Speaker 1:Yes, something.
Speaker 2:Marvel. I don't know which one though. Avengers, maybe no.
Speaker 1:Marvel Deadpool vs Wolverine trailer. Okay, that got over 365 million views within the same time period. See, it goes to prove my point.
Speaker 2:There ain't nothing bigger than this game. There's no game bigger than this game. I stand on that. There's no game bigger than this game.
Speaker 1:You're about to say there's no entertainment for movie, tv shows or video games.
Speaker 2:I don't know. I'm not going to say entertainment, because I do think there's movies that can outdo that.
Speaker 1:I do think Grand Theft Auto made more money than any movie. That year.
Speaker 2:No, yeah for that year. But I'm just saying in general, I think what?
Speaker 1:Name some what I think a movie like Star Wars?
Speaker 2:No yeah, star Wars, it can't Could probably duplicate that over.
Speaker 1:No, I think it could. No, we could argue that, but I think it could no, mr Mason argument we'll find out we'll start the start with movies. That's not gross that much money. The last three come on. You're right, you're right, you're right.
Speaker 2:I'm just, I'm just thinking I can't think of something off my head right now.
Speaker 1:No, no because you know what. You know why? Because there's nothing, nothing. So stop it, right, you might be right, you might be right.
Speaker 2:I'm not gonna disagree with you on that one yeah I, I to set us to not too long ago. I, I was talking about this is the biggest thing. Biggest game out. You might be able to say entertainment, you might be able to use that word.
Speaker 1:It's true, it's facts. It's facts, it's facts. For now, like Crookano said, it's true, it's true. All right, you're not lying. Stop it, grand Theft Auto 6. See you in a year.
Speaker 2:That's all I got to say, see you in a year, Like I said allegedly See you in a year, allegedly A birthday gift to myself, it comes out to say for us, day before, for the babies, there you go.
Speaker 1:So, mr Mason, yes, sir, let's go to our next topic. Our next topic Xbox handheld Game. An article, new reports indicating the upcoming Microsoft handheld will be like, mr Amazing? You know it's a copycat league. Well, if you go sports league or industry, as you say, video game industry, mr Amazing, it'll be similar to the Switch, will it have a docking and all that.
Speaker 2:Yeah, well, okay, go ahead. I'll let you finish your thought. Go ahead and also.
Speaker 1:not only they reported, windows Central has also reported the handheld created by Microsoft will have a complete docking station, emulating the Nintendo Switch, mr Amazing okay, because now I feel like, okay, let's, let's do a little banter here.
Speaker 2:So, from my understanding, is this Xbox handheld leak known as Project M9? And it's supposed to come out next year.
Speaker 1:Ms Mayling, I didn't get all that 2027 or 2026?
Speaker 2:That I don't know. Okay, this is where I'm getting you. Yeah, well, it's 2027. Okay, okay, got you. But my thought on this was the new Xbox Excuse me, mx, I can't speak English the new Xbox handheld codename Project Canon, canon. Right, it's the new. It's going to be a black version of the Asus Rogue.
Speaker 1:Alley 2. Yeah, that's. I think we Didn't we discuss it before, we discussed it before. It's just going to be, it's not gonna play Xbox games go ahead, I'm gonna let you finish.
Speaker 2:That's not what I'm getting, though I don't believe it's gonna play Xbox games.
Speaker 1:I don't believe it's gonna play Xbox. It's not gonna be a we call focus Xbox focus system that's not what I was getting from this article.
Speaker 2:That I got because, from my head, my thing is this is that one's coming out this year? Yeah. Isn't this supposed to be the Xbox. This is a collaboration.
Speaker 1:No, this is a collaboration, that's a collaboration.
Speaker 2:Microsoft has its own drill from dedicated games system coming out the Asus Rogue Alley 2, with the dedicated Xbox button on there. It has a dedicated Xbox button. It's supposed to run. It's about 7-inch, 120hz.
Speaker 1:LCD display. Okay, we know about that, yeah.
Speaker 2:We might be getting an idea this week, because later this week they're having they're having their conference, asus is having their regular conference for this year, so we might get a full feature and more idea about this. So my understanding is and we all price point we're in over $600 or more. You already know that already, so I thought this was going to be the league handheld.
Speaker 1:There was two handhelds that were going to come out. It was the Asus Asus, so Asus yeah, the Rogue Alley 2. Remember I wanted the Y1 but that was this one is a partnership with Xbox. The new one that Xbox is going to have that's coming out, that new one that's released in 2027, will be an Xbox Focus 1 will be, we'll say, a direct cologne of the Nintendo Switch bad idea, I think.
Speaker 2:I think this idea was better on the Asus. You added the Xbox and you already teamed up with them. You collaborated them, put the Xbox games on that. I thought this was a better idea. But can they put Xbox games like that on there? Yeah, because it's gonna be. It's gonna be run by Microsoft. It's going to be the whole Microsoft Microsoft 11. It's going to be on that. So, yeah, of course you can. It's going to be Microsoft 11 on this system. That's why I thought this was the leak, the leak handle everybody's talking about. So it's going to run Microsoft 11. So of course, you can run Xbox games on this. So, but my thing is now is what you're telling me? Horrible idea, horrific idea that's gonna flop this. I thought can get the numbers in, because this system is already proven. You're adding Microsoft to it. You got the Xbox. You got the Xbox direct button on there.
Speaker 2:I thought this would have been what everyone's looking forward to. You're gonna get the Switch almost 2. Switch 2 is coming out. It's gonna have 2 years on you. We all. There's what everyone's looking forward to. You're going to get the Switch almost two. Switch 2 is coming out. It's going to have two years on you. We all there's rumors about PlayStation Portal 2 coming out and God knows how many other handhelds that are coming out in between now I think Microsoft was. If they were going to make their handheld, it should have came out now, but I think you hold on to to this. Mark my word, mike, remember? I said this If what you're telling me is true, I don't think this handheld's gonna see daylight.
Speaker 1:I don't think it's gonna see daylight. I don't think it's gonna see daylight.
Speaker 2:I think this is gonna end up being the Microsoft handheld that we're all thinking about.
Speaker 1:I think this is this is the worst show you ever had.
Speaker 2:No no, hey, it's horrible. Hey, remember I said it. Michael, why would you want to come out two years after the Nintendo Switch? You're talking 2027? You're talking 2026. Maybe You're saying you're going to come out in 2027, when the Nintendo Switch has two years on you already now. You think that's a good idea?
Speaker 1:Keep it real. I mean, the console is coming out this year, not console. The handle is coming out, it can. Can play Xbox games on Game Pass and Steam and Android apps yes, and the Epic Store yes, and other cloud gaming services Exactly.
Speaker 2:Okay, but my question to you is do you think it's a good idea to drop a brand new handheld two years from a Switch 2 coming out? Who is, as you and I always anoint them, the godfather right? Do you think it's a good idea to come out with a handheld two years after Nintendo's going to have a crazy lineup by then. God knows what other accessories are going to be out for them. You're going to be playing catch-up and then you know the price point is not going to be as cheap as a Nintendo Switch 2. You know Microsoft FanHell is not going to be this cheap. So my thing to you is do you think it's a smart idea?
Speaker 1:Well, I think it's a smart Two years later.
Speaker 2:Don't be on the bush, just give me your answer, man.
Speaker 1:Two years later, we discussed it earlier in an earlier podcast. It's best for Sony and Microsoft to jump on the handheld craze while it's still hot. I don't know what's going to happen in two years from now and with the video game prices soaring, a lot of people are going to buy both of them. I think that's what If Microsoft comes with a new system in 2027. They might just buy the Xbox system, but most likely they might not buy the free handheld because it's probably 500 plus. Or maybe they might not buy the following year because it's a lot of money You're talking about.
Speaker 2:Most of them are going to make $30, $40, $100 easily. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1:So people are going to make decisions Should I buy this or should I buy this? Well, okay, I see your argument. It's about the same price point. Is it a mistake? That's what I want to know. Do you think it's a good idea? Remember, you're playing Xbox games and Xbox games on Game Pass. You can buy the Xbox game on the Asus. On the Asus. I see what you're saying.
Speaker 2:What's the point of coming to? There's no reason for it to dedicated. Microsoft is not dedicated to hardware anymore. I think it's a bad idea. Remember, I said it. I said it 2025, mid-2025, this system is not going to see daylight.
Speaker 1:I mean my thing and I said this in a previous podcast Microsoft is more like a third party to me.
Speaker 2:They're Sega.
Speaker 1:They're the new Sega.
Speaker 1:To me anything else and Microsoft is saying, yo, we're not making no Xboxes no more. I mean else, If I just started to say, yo, we're not making no Xboxes no more, I'd be sad to say that because it does eliminate the competition for the PlayStation. And you know, with no competition, they get lazy. They get lazy and they take advantage of the consumers. You know what I'm saying, Though you do have the Nintendo Switch 2, but they're not the same, we'll say, level of the people that's going to go into the PlayStation ecosystem and the people who's in the Nintendo ecosystem.
Speaker 2:I understand what you're saying.
Speaker 1:If you're a gamer you might play both systems, but there's some people that's dedicated to the hardcore adult games where Nintendo is more of a family-friendly console.
Speaker 2:Well, I agree with that. But remember the Switch 2 is supposed to change that narrative. We'll see. The jury's still out on that.
Speaker 1:It's supposed to change that narrative. It'll change the narrative to a certain extent, but it will still look at the family console as Nintendo.
Speaker 2:And it should be. That's what Nintendo's always been about.
Speaker 1:So that's still Nintendo's main focus. That's what Nintendo's always been about, so that's still.
Speaker 2:Nintendo's main focus. Nintendo's always about that. E, e for everyone, baby yeah. But going back to that console, I think it's a bad idea in 2027. If you're talking about 2026, I think you could argue that Okay, but let me ask you a question when PlayStation come out, me allegedly called the Portal 2. Yeah, is that a bad idea? Not at all. You got success on that and you're coming out between now and next year.
Speaker 1:That's fine and there's success on that and it's not expensive. And it's not expensive. The portal's not expensive and it's still one of the top accessories you sell on Amazon.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it's $200.
Speaker 1:It's affordable Video game accessories, but how much price for Sony Porsche? I don't think you're going to be winning $250 on that. It costs $200,. Michael, why would you go winning $250 on that Portal 2. Yeah, the Portal.
Speaker 2:Michael, first of all, we don't know if it's going to be a true handheld, because the Portal let's keep it real is not a true handheld.
Speaker 1:No, but I'm talking about, if they create a Portal 2. Okay, it's not going. What do you think they're?
Speaker 2:going to do with it. We don't know if they're going to make it a handheld. They're going to make it a handheld, mr Mason. We thought the portal was going to be a official handheld. No, no, they never said that I thought it was.
Speaker 1:I never said that. I thought it was. Sony said what it was.
Speaker 2:We got to see. But I don't think Sony's going to go that route. I don't think. And a rocker yes you're going full ball.
Speaker 1:It's the full ball, handheld right. Let's keep it real 2006, 7, maybe 8. I don't remember the year exactly. This is the worst. This is the worst. Take on any show you have. No, no, no, no, no. Let's finish it, go ahead 2006, 7, 8.
Speaker 2:I don't remember what year exactly it was, but my point is Nintendo Wii U and them came out right. What did the other two systems do? Nintendo basically comes out with their move, xbox come out with their Kinect. Where are they now?
Speaker 1:Where are they now? Where are they now? Yeah, where are they now? Go to used game stores, yeah yeah, where are they now?
Speaker 2:Nobody cares about it. It was a battle you can't compare that they are doing the same thing now you can't compare them two, they're playing catch up to a system that's been doing it for over 10 years, more than 10 years. I'm going to say 10 years, no, no.
Speaker 1:You compare it to that. No, you're talking about the Swiss now for eight years. No, I'm talking about hand.
Speaker 2:I'm talking about hand, I'm talking. No, you didn't listen to me. They wanted to keep, they wanted to be in the same market with the whole moving move, your whole body and all that stuff, right, I'm talking Okay, go ahead.
Speaker 2:Right, that's what they wanted to follow Nintendo's thing. Nintendo blew them out the water. It wasn't even close. Okay, so they do. Okay, now you to present time, right, nintendo again has a big lead on the handheld market with their Switch, switch Lite for the last seven, eight years, and now they're coming with a part two of something that's been very successful with, and then you're not going to see the Microsoft one to two years after that. God already knows when the Nintendo Switch is going to be two years from now, and then Portal this year, maybe next year, I don't know when it's going to come out. But let's give it a greater period Two years.
Speaker 1:Two years.
Speaker 2:So let's give it 2027. Like Microsoft, you think those two are going to be on the same level as the Switch 2? Is that what you're trying to tell me?
Speaker 1:I'm trying to tell you this is my take on it and we said it before you got to get it where it's hot Two years from now, we don't know how the handheld, so you're agreeing with what I'm saying.
Speaker 2:You're disagreeing with what I'm saying in a different way.
Speaker 1:The Portal 2 has a better chance. I think so too, and the new Call of Duty, then the Microsoft.
Speaker 2:But we'll see what the Alloy does, yeah but they Okay with the Alloy, the Steam Deck, they, steam Deck. They came out especially. Let's get Steam Deck, because Steam Deck to me is the most successful one out of all of them.
Speaker 1:Come on, let's keep it.
Speaker 2:The Steam Deck is the most successful one.
Speaker 1:Yeah, but I mean the sales like with 3 million, yeah, but it's still very successful.
Speaker 2:It's very popular.
Speaker 1:They still make it and then they made new light. But if the tender of Sony sold like that, it'd be a failure.
Speaker 2:Of course, it would be a failure Because of the name, because of who you are.
Speaker 1:It's because of your name but, like I said, the only place you get to Steve is from Valve.
Speaker 2:And I think that's what hurts, though I think if you could walk into a GameStop, walk into a Best Buy All the money for the sales Exactly, and I think that's the most they did. I do think the numbers will be stronger if you can walk into any electronic store and pick one up. The stores will be bigger. All right, we'll just keep it going, Mike man.
Speaker 1:We'll be good. Oh yeah, because this is like another worst.
Speaker 2:grab that photo. What happened?
Speaker 1:I was right, you was right, I said the same thing. When the future is right, I said the same thing about the Xbox at home.
Speaker 2:I thought the Asus Roguelike 2 was going to be the Xbox at home. In collaboration with them, I ended up making that all from scratch. That's a hard fucking thing. You're not even supporting your. You don't support that. So two years from now, you're going to tell me well, we just want to be in the cloud, we want to be in the Switch, we want to be in the PlayStation.
Speaker 1:Come on man. Okay, I do see what you're saying, because Microsoft seems damn confused. They are Come on man. I can't support a system that doesn't know what they want to do. Yeah, I see what you're saying. I mean, my thing is I think I have more fate when PlayStation come out of Portal 2. That I agree with you. I think Microsoft is all over the place it's all over the place.
Speaker 2:That's why I think they should just collaborate and do that, and I think that's a win-win for them. The thing plays. Microsoft 11 runs on Microsoft 11. You can play everything Microsoft one day.
Speaker 1:I came more, Mr Mayor, I came more to your side with it. I think it's kind of confusing. You have this, then we have this, you have the Alloy or Ace whatever you call it, how you pronounce it with a collaboration with the Xbox.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:I think that's a great idea for them, and two years later you'll come out with a system that is similar to Switch. Yeah, switch is stupid to me. My thing is like let's keep it 100. Why are you going to have a console? I know? You're not going to have a console, you're not going to have it for too long the way they're going, and on top of that, what did they?
Speaker 2:do to you. You're not going to have a console. Why are you going to have that and have a console? You have the deck On a system that's not even successful.
Speaker 1:My thing is I don't think they're coming to a console. They shouldn't. Why would you have that and have a console I? I?
Speaker 2:I. That made no sense. I'm trying to figure out too.
Speaker 1:Why do you have a handheld with a dock? Why would you have a console separate? You might as well just keep this. It is what it is Basically, if this does come out, basically this cold ripping off Nintendo.
Speaker 2:That's what I'm saying. It's not going to sit in the light of day. You're just going to be like Michael. The system you wanted to get, that like that. The KSC, the KSC system, just like that.
Speaker 1:I just want a damn KSC Michael's supposed to give us an update on this.
Speaker 2:I'm still waiting for the update, michael. I'm still waiting for the update. Cause there ain't no update? Cause that shit coming?
Speaker 1:out exactly.
Speaker 2:It's not coming out. I've been told you that this is the second, we're having a mic.
Speaker 1:I didn't say that we both were speculating how the hell this is going to work.
Speaker 2:Never heard from it again if it does come out, it's going to be like the Jaguar it's going to be the Jaguar or just like that.
Speaker 1:Listen, we're talking about turkey fried chicken. I think they're supposed to have Colgate tasting fried chicken. You heard about that. A what Fried chicken tastes like Colgate Ew.
Speaker 2:What's he that Ew I don't know why chicken tastes like my toothbrush Ew, my toothpaste. What the hell. Oh God, son Yo yo. I hope this is a joke.
Speaker 1:I really hope this is a joke. I thought it was a food joke, but you know, I think it's a limited time.
Speaker 2:offer you better go get that, I'm good, go get that. Ew, go do your breast milk minty fresh. Okay, eat chicken.
Speaker 1:God knows, mr Maze, anything else you want to say to that? Okay, mr Maze, I didn't totally agree with you, but you knocked some sense into me.
Speaker 2:I see what you're saying Well, thank you for coming to join the board. Thank you for coming to join the board, mike Sanderson gives Mr Maze a check plus for that. I totally agree with that.
Speaker 1:Because it doesn't make no sense why you're going to have a handheld with a deck and come out on a console At all.
Speaker 2:It makes no sense of saying that it makes no sense.
Speaker 1:Why the hell?
Speaker 2:are you. It's perfect for what you're trying to do. It's perfect.
Speaker 1:It makes no sense. So I got to be Mr Amazing with this. Sorry, sorry, sorry, xbox.
Speaker 2:Well, good, Like I said before in the show, we're going to find out more in the next week In the show before the next topic Mr Mason, let's talk about pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch.
Speaker 1:Had a chance at getting a GameStop, walmart Online, best Buy. Yo, it was hell. It was hell. People getting the orders turned down. Didn't have the orders but then told they didn't have an order. The system crashing. People are sad, but we've seen this before turned down, didn't have orders, but then told they didn't have an order, the system, the system, system crashing. People are sad, but we've seen this before. Oh yeah, we've seen it in four, we've seen it in five.
Speaker 2:I mean we've seen it in five.
Speaker 1:Sorry, yeah, we've seen it Not much more than Xbox. Let's just keep it 100. I remember when I bought Yo, I had no problems. Getting that from GameStop, no problem. I had so much time to get it. I was like I'm missing a lot of time to get this Yo, I had no problem. Place didn't fly. I tried to get that. Woo Woo, damn.
Speaker 2:But there are recent takes, that recent news, excuse me that GameStop and Best Buy will be getting restocks and they will be having a midnight release. Yes, for sure. So that's hope for our people. That's hope. Are you going to try to do it, though?
Speaker 1:I don't know. I tried. I tried that night. Didn't happen At Best Buy GameStop. I went to the local GameStop in Atlanta Avenue. Queens Didn't have it. Well, I'll try again. But Amazon, they do it. Amazon, they do it, yet they do it yet.
Speaker 2:I think Amazon's gonna be tougher to be honest with you than going to regular retails, because Amazon's good. Everybody goes to Amazon, so that's gonna be really hard to get small store like PC Rich might have some. Yeah.
Speaker 1:PC.
Speaker 2:Richards, maybe you're out.
Speaker 1:Is this store still around New?
Speaker 2:Egg, new Egg 2. Is this store still around? It's like upside down Six. Avenue no Six Avenue.
Speaker 1:I've been dead a long time ago.
Speaker 2:Oh, okay, see, I was assured.
Speaker 1:That's dead, like six, seven years ago. Oh, okay.
Speaker 2:So I guess they're going to have somewhat of abundance of a stock. When do you call it? Next week? No, no, no, no. I mean like after you know abundance, like we could find it, we could start finding them. Next year, next year. Wow, you going that far out, next year gone. You might be right, I don't dispute that.
Speaker 1:It's like saying the best body says 25 hours you might walk in, you get lucky. That's how I got mine, you get lucky. But once the word get out, it's over, son Over. You're right, I don't disagree, it's over I don't disagree at all. Actually, you know what I'm saying. So, people, best of luck trying to get a switch, to give you updates on our journey to get the Switch 2. And that will be what June 5th. Yeah, it's coming out in about two weeks, two weeks, so we'll give you an update.
Speaker 2:Two and a half weeks, I should say, yeah, it's going to be exciting. I can't wait for them to do that show All right, mr Mazin, let's go to Mafia Yo.
Speaker 1:Let's go to Mafia Yo. The newest Mafia, mafia 4, mr Amazing, and we got to make corrections. Go ahead. Remember we were talking about Mafia 4 was compared to Rockstar for pricing and stuff like that, and it's not. We're off a lot, we're off a lot, we're off a lot. But for as for who makes it, rockstar doesn't make it we said Rockstar, make that. Oh, my bad if I said that Rockstar doesn't make it. You know what I'm saying Same publisher yeah, 2k. Same publisher Rockstar does not make it.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I actually knew that I didn't correct you.
Speaker 1:I wasn't sure, but we made a mistake on that one, my bad. But the price point, mr Amazing, very fair $49. For the standard. Yes, for all platforms. Deluxe edition $59. Good price Because the extra stuff, the more stuff in the extended edition. I'm not going to go into it. It was released August 8th, that's correct.
Speaker 2:Yes, and that's a good price point, because when everybody is talking about raising their prices, they actually lowered it, so that's not bad, and you've seen that for a couple of games Fate of Fury or the Wolves.
Speaker 1:What's the full title? Fate?
Speaker 2:of Fury or the Wolves of something I know what you're talking about.
Speaker 1:That was only $59. That was. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2:So there's still hope, guys, there's still hope.
Speaker 1:And what's the most popular game? Claire? I want to talk about that later. Well just tell the price, Claire. What's the name of it?
Speaker 2:You can talk about it later at 33. Something well, I'll get back to you because I always get the name mixed up, that's only 49.
Speaker 1:That's sold over three million copies.
Speaker 2:Clear Opscore, opscore Right 33, right, that's what it's called. Clear Opscore yeah, that's what did you say? Sold over three million copies? Wow, that's good.
Speaker 1:Since we're on that topic.
Speaker 2:Can I mention something? Go ahead and this. I know this is kind of off topic, but If you were this is just my take right now If you were to give and Excuse me, let me give credit to I got some Polygon. That was a very good article Actually from Polygon. Yeah, they were saying If we were to do Game of the Year for 2025, it's not going to be a AAA game. They're saying it's going to be a AA game. It's just a level under the AAA games, but they're very good games and obviously someone is talking. You know which one of them is, which is what we just spoke about. Clear out of score, didn't?
Speaker 1:we see in that one Yep, yep yeah.
Speaker 2:And the second one was the one I wanted to get, and you and Mom got a game in front of me. Why didn't you want to get this game? For this is not, it's another AA game.
Speaker 1:What is this Split faction? I didn't say, I didn't want to get this, you got to play that game.
Speaker 2:Remember I was like, oh, I want to get you. Guys were like, oh no, I don't know about that.
Speaker 1:We never said that this game is getting very good reviews and that's so that's priced very well. I think it's $49. Yeah, same thing too, so that's sold over four million copies.
Speaker 2:Those are leading candidates for game of the year so far. Yeah, but I never definitely going to get it, because at first I was like I got turned up because when you said that, you both looked at it like ah, ah, ah.
Speaker 1:You played both of those games. Well, I played ATH 2. Remember? No, you played the other one too. I didn't play the other one. Yes, you played with Mom and Dad games. No, the first one. You did the first one. Yes, you did. I don't think Me used to start playing the Y'all Y'all. I gave the game to Y'all Y'all, completed it.
Speaker 2:You did that one. Yes, I don't remember.
Speaker 1:You're probably right.
Speaker 2:actually, Some of you don't remember Beyonce sometimes, but those are the two Game of the Year candidates for me, man, and gotta give them their credit. They both nominated those two games for the leading candidates for Game of the Year, which is dope to see. It's not even a AAA game, but what AAA game is coming out this year anyway? I mean, grand Theft Auto 6 was supposed to be one of them.
Speaker 1:I don't remember. Ghost of Tsushima's sequel.
Speaker 2:Oh yeah, that's a AAA game, for sure.
Speaker 1:That's a AAA game for sure.
Speaker 2:Let Metal Gear game I wouldn't consider that, because it's remastered.
Speaker 1:Yeah, so remastered by us, right here, Mr Amazing.
Speaker 2:Eh, it had its run already it had its run.
Speaker 1:Yeah, the run was like oh, how many years ago, mr Amazing, I agree it's a new audience, you're capturing so, but I always felt funny when remastered.
Speaker 2:yeah, we'll see Ghost of Superman could probably change my tone on that, but for now, those are the candidates. Alright, what we got, what we got. Going on now.
Speaker 1:Mr Amazing. We got the other Trail of the Week, mr Amazing we're jumping into that.
Speaker 2:Now what's?
Speaker 1:that the Trail of the Week, mr Amazing and the new Superman trailer oh nice alright, let's yo one, two, three new Superman trailer. Oh nice, All right, let's yo one, two, three. Let's do this oh.
Speaker 2:I didn't even know about that. This is exciting. I heard about it, but I haven't seen it yet.
Speaker 1:Are you being serious right now? Yeah, you'd let me interview you as Superman. Sure Ready, let's do it. Cronkite, superman, miss Lane, recently you've come under a lot of fire. For what some might it's a lot of fire. For what some might it's a lot. Today, the secretary of defense said he was going to look into your actions that's funny.
Speaker 2:My actions, I stopped a war, maybe, uh, not maybe I did.
Speaker 1:in effect, you illegally entered a country. This is how you're going to be. I'm not the one being interviewed. Superman, did you consult with the president? No, you seemingly acting as a representative of the United States. I wasn't representing anybody except for me around the world and doing good. I would question myself in the same situation and consider the consequences. People were going to die.
Speaker 2:Hey, buddy, eyes up here. Your choices, your actions, that's what makes you who you are Superman, he's not a man, he's an it. He's somehow become the focal point of the entire world's conversation. I will not accept that. I cleaned your boots. I'll go get them for you you have a dog, Mr Maisy.
Speaker 1:The new Superman movie coming out July 11. Mr Maisy, I'm Max Theoretist. Yo, I am pumped for this.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I guess it's going to be the new big Independence Day movie, so perfect timing.
Speaker 1:Oh, independence Day, July 4th.
Speaker 2:Well, you know, after release, whatever you know we'll spend, had that hell for so long, I don't even know what to call it. But um, I'm hyped too, but I feel like something's missing.
Speaker 1:And I don't know what it is.
Speaker 2:I feel like what I saw so far. But my thing is do you think Superman still has an appeal in this generation? Yeah, you still think he does. Yeah, I don't know. I feel like he doesn't have as much of an appeal as he did back in the 80s and 90s.
Speaker 1:It's super freaking man.
Speaker 2:Yeah, but I feel like if you go around acts younger generation, hey, who's Give me the best Superman?
Speaker 1:I feel like they're not going to know as much. They know this. When you see that symbol, they know that Superman, who that is? I mean, yeah, you're not saying it's Darth Vader.
Speaker 2:No, you're right, because obviously entertainment has made that symbol popular. It's just one of I would guess it's one of the most popular titles of all time. Yes, I understand what you're saying, but we'll see how. About wrong, because I'm a big Superman fan and I love this guy. I just feel like something is missing. I don't know what it was.
Speaker 1:I think it's probably more entertaining than the Batman one, which I didn't like it. Wait, no, I didn't say the. Batman one I'm lying, I'm not talking about it. I didn't like it, you didn't like it. I thought it was okay. You said okay, you said okay. I didn't like it. I thought it was okay. It was mid, it was mid.
Speaker 2:All right, we can go with mid. I didn't think it was too bad. So, even though I said, Miss, I'm going to agree.
Speaker 1:I think people are going to see it. How much money do you think it'll gross? Perfect timing. How much money do you think it'll gross? The billion dollar mark?
Speaker 2:Billion dollars? I don't know yo.
Speaker 1:Because I feel like something is missing.
Speaker 2:I don't think. That's why I don't see the billion dollar mark, but maybe I see more trailers that might change my mind. Right, yeah, I think it'll be Fantastic Four, I absolutely think they will. Yeah, hell, yeah. Fantastic Four, hell yeah. What did Fantastic Four bring in?
Speaker 1:No, it's what the new one's coming out.
Speaker 2:Oh, I thought about the old one. Yeah, oh yeah, superman's a bigger name than Fantastic Four. Of course it's going to be. I'll beat it, it's a way bigger name than it. Okay yeah, it'll definitely be a Fantastic.
Speaker 1:Four Do you think Superman's going to make a billion dollars? That's the big thing.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that's the new benchmark.
Speaker 1:Yeah for the.
Speaker 2:I'm going to say he's going to flirt with it and I think it will hit about 850 mil Probably fall a little bit short.
Speaker 1:I think it's close to I think it'll come to 900 million change.
Speaker 2:Okay, so you're short also. Yeah, I think it's 150 mil.
Speaker 1:I think Fantastic Four. I'm not saying that that seems like 600. Fantastic Four's, not that popular man. Now, if you get, good reviews and they say there's some connection to the DC, it'll be connected to the MCU, so all of them can.
Speaker 2:Well then that helps. So that's going to be. People said, borderline is going to be good too, michael. Who the hell said?
Speaker 1:Nobody said that crap.
Speaker 2:You stop.
Speaker 1:Nobody said that Get the hell out of here. All right, mr Mazin, I guess we both green-lighted each other. No, I green-lighted for sure Fantastic Four.
Speaker 2:I got to say the truth.
Speaker 1:I think Fantastic Four might make a million, might make a billion dollars.
Speaker 2:Wow, so you have a doing better Superman. I think might go over. Yeah, that's interesting. I ain't even going to go that route. Mike got that DC Marvel bias in them, so we'll see Yo, yo yo.
Speaker 1:We'll see. All right, mr Amazing. Next topic is a Shibu-Kill topic, mr Amazing. Yes, sir, a Shibu-Kill topic is Mr Amazing, virtual Fighter. What Mr Amazing has made a debut again is making a comeback. Mm-hmm, tell us, tell us.
Speaker 2:So it was two comebacks. Actually, this is a two for one we're gonna get right now. So, first off, virtua Fighter 5, originally released in 2006, is in the works by Sega and the developer or what's that thing Ryguy they're the one who came out with it back in 2006. They're bringing it back and they're bringing it back on the PS5 Xbox Series and the Switch 2, and it's going to support cross-platform and it's remastered. Is it coming to PC? Probably it might be coming to PC. I'm assuming it is. So it's going to be cross-platform, so we're going to have that to hold down. It's one of the better ones, one of the very popular ones too. And while that's holding us down, we've been hearing well, it's not a rumor. We know for sure there's a Virtua Fighter 6 brewing, but that's not coming out this year, though. Most likely next year, most likely next year. Yeah, I don't think there's any trailer. There's nothing about it out, right?
Speaker 1:now. Yeah, do you remember at Evo?
Speaker 2:they. You're right, I'm not talking about. I was talking about that. What am I saying? You're?
Speaker 1:right, the new wolf Harkville, which is an individual of Indian descent.
Speaker 2:They showed a brief yeah, you're right, they did have that my bad, I apologize so he's a playable character in Virtua Fighter for many years, yeah so we'll see. It looks amazing. It looks like he's going to be promising.
Speaker 1:I didn't know he, I didn't even notice it. He was actually a debut fighter on Virtual Fighter game in 1993. Wow, when it originally dropped.
Speaker 2:Yeah, wow, that's amazing.
Speaker 1:That's amazing, so he's actually the Canadian professional wrestler, native American.
Speaker 2:Okay, that looks good. We'll find out more. So we got a lot of Virtua Fighter to dive into in the next year and a half.
Speaker 1:Miss Maze. The question is should we care?
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah, a lot, a little, not at all.
Speaker 1:Absolutely, we should care. Man Care a lot, a little, not at all. Tell the people care a lot, mr Mazin.
Speaker 2:I care a lot because I had a great time with Virtual Fighter, especially when I was one of the rare people on the second Saturday playing it.
Speaker 1:I think maybe you're a big fighting fan, so yeah, I care a lot. I'd be interested in playing. I always thought that Virtual Fighter and Tekken should have a crossover.
Speaker 2:That would be good actually, because they're that than that 3D style play. Yeah, I think there's always been a crossover. That'd be good, that'd be very good.
Speaker 1:Then Tekken and Street Fighter was a bad crossover, yeah because you went to 3D, to a TD game.
Speaker 2:I mean it might do take Tekken and Virtua to be more sense, more sense, yeah, I agree with that actually.
Speaker 1:So we both care a lot about Mr Mazin, a gangster or waster of the week. Well, you got this man. Mr Mazin, you know the Godfather game Don't play, no. They don't play, mr Mazin. We see an update on Nintendo agreement accounts, nintendo account agreement including strong warning against authorized use. So, mr Mazin, if you have a Nintendo account, you should have received, mr Amazing, an updated policy.
Speaker 2:Mr.
Speaker 1:Amazing. Spotted in your updated information licensing of digital products section of their agreement, you acknowledge that if you fail to comply with foregoing restrictions on Nintendo, you may render your Nintendo Switch counter services application device permanently unable or partially cannot be playable.
Speaker 2:That's what. Think about spending all that money and then you get bricked by Nintendo. Yeah, I don't know. A lot of people think twice and I'm going to keep it real. My name ain't no names. I know a lot of people with that, Mr Amazing.
Speaker 1:Let's say it again Once you put that check mark on it, you will now lose debt. If you fail to comply With this restriction, Nintendo may render your account. Knowledge that if you fail to comply with this restriction, Nintendo may render your account bricked.
Speaker 2:Is it possible, permanent ban too?
Speaker 1:It is me. Your Nintendo Switch is dead.
Speaker 2:I'll say it again. Mr Mason, I'll say it again.
Speaker 1:Once you make that click, that click check mark, you acknowledge that if you fail to comply with the foregone restriction of Nintendo, it may render your Nintendo account services application, your device, permanently un-illusible. Mr Mason, yes, sir, I said it three times. How?
Speaker 2:many times did I say it Three times, you said it three times. You warned him, we warned you, we warned you. You don't mess with the Godfather gaming. Hey, if you do it, just don't go online, I guess. But this reminds me of a couple of stuff. Actually, you know what this reminds me of? Of in the 90s, with the cable companies. Oh, yeah, where they used to send the bricks to people's houses when you had illegal cable. Oh yeah, I had illegal cable.
Speaker 1:I'll tell you real this was so long ago I got sent the bullet.
Speaker 2:We used to call it the bullet back then. Yeah, we got sent the bullet a couple of times and then you were like, oh, they got me, I have shoe.
Speaker 1:I have shoe Keep it real, I keep it real. I have a budget man. I think I have one HBO, Only my bootleg box. I can only have one HBO, one Showtime. Blah, blah, blah. If I just go anything out of that realm, there's more dangers getting caught.
Speaker 2:Yeah, so this bullet is for real. We seen it in the 90s, so it could easily be done in the 2020s, yo. So, this is so you put the disabled love system. That's illegal. They're within their rights to do it. Once you hit that shot, like Mike said, he repeated it to you three times, so don't be calling us leaving us. Mr Game of Traffic show. I just paid $500 for my new Switch 2, and I can't play no more. We warned ya.
Speaker 1:Yep, the Godfather game ain't playing son, they ain't playing we warned ya so alright, mr Mason, let's go to the shout out week. I give it up to you oh, shoot what did I do? Oh snap, no, no, no. Shout out week. You say you're gonna shout out who on my New York Knicks. Yes, go New York, go New York, go people in New York City were going buck wild crazy in the street. Mr Mazin, they won a championship. I understand.
Speaker 2:I don't know about client polls and stuff like that though, but I understand the hype. I understand the tears.
Speaker 1:I understand the greatness. I understand the happiness.
Speaker 2:It's been 25 years. And, guys, I'm going to throw another fact at y'all. I'm going to throw another fact at you guys Every time the Knicks has played Indiana in the conference final, we've went to the NBA finals. So, hey, hopefully it isn't repeated. So I'm not saying it's going to happen, but I am hoping it does happen. We shall find out. We shall find out. It's been 25, 26 slash years in the making. We're finally there. Go New York, go New York, because if we make it to the finals, I warn you not to come to New York that day.
Speaker 1:It's going to be crazy If they win the championship, you're going to be crazy.
Speaker 2:If they win the championship, you're going to sit down. Forget about it, nobody goes to school or work. No, literally, they should just declare that day off it's about to be a holiday. Because you know what makes New York Knicks so special it's the only New York sports team where everybody can go, because baseball has two teams, football has three teams, hockey has two teams. Basketball is the only Well they got.
Speaker 1:Brooklyn Nets. We don't consider Brooklyn Nets. Brooklyn Nets need to get their props.
Speaker 2:The women's team, the WNBA team. They get their props that play there. But Brooklyn, Brooklyn, Brooklyn has baby. You know what? It is no disrespect to New York, the Brooklyn Nets team, it's just that they were a Jersey team that came and the rest of it knew Less than 10 years. We want to say Less than 10 years.
Speaker 1:This is how I look at the Brooklyn Nets. They don't have much to catch up to the Messi Yankees. They can win four championships. They're going to outdo the Knicks.
Speaker 2:Which is true, but the same thing, because the Knicks only got two. Two, but the same thing. As long as it is true, because the Knicks only got two, yeah, two banners, which is true, but still, it's a big conference. Shout out to the Knicks and let's go, knicks, baby One at a time.
