Y'all yo the games, the top 10 games you play for this summer. Mr amazing, we also gonna talk about yo, a game coming to Xbox that people didn't expect it. We're also going to talk about the Running man, a movie that's a remake of a movie by the great Arnold. Mr Amazing, yo, let's start the list off what you got. All right, man.

Speaker 1:When we talked about this topic, it was supposed to be the summer your top 10 games of summer 2025.
Speaker 2:That's what he told me, but he decided to go with it. When I text you, did I say top 10?
Speaker 1:Yes, he said top 10 games in 2025. Well, Todd gives it for summer, so I incorporated games coming out in 2025. He interpreted it that way, but this guy was just doing it general. So mine, ladies and gentlemen, is going to be a little bit more broad on the fact that I focus.
Speaker 2:Mine's going to be more broad, yours is going to be more general. Yours is going to's more broad than yours, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm more narrow.
Speaker 1:I'm talking about I have a shorter window than he does, but it's fine. It's fine. So, mike, since we're doing it two different ways, you can start the list because you have a broader list than I do.
Speaker 2:I have a better list than you.
Speaker 1:you might, because you have a better option. I kept mine simple, but despite that, I do like the games that I picked, though All right, mr Mazin.
Speaker 2:All right, so there's no type of order. I'm going into this, mr Mazin, I will do this back and forth. I'll do one, then you do one. Okay, so we'll do this, mr Mazin. I picked Call of Duty 6, mr Mazin, black Ops First. Black Ops First part is Shooter. It has single player campaign, multiplayer and multiplayer online with Zombie Mall, mr Amazing. You get your homeboys over. You can play with your boys. You can play Zombie Mall. You can play with strangers. This will keep you out to the wholesome, mr Amazing, for the kids go to school, for you off on your vacation. You're coming back. You want to play some games with your homeboys or you want to play the campaign alone. Call of Duty Black Ops 6, mr Amazing. What do you think of that?
Speaker 1:It's not a bad game. I think it's a great game. But it's crazy. I don't associate it as a summer game because it always comes out in the fall. So for some reason I think it was a fall game. It's weird, I know. Plus it's going to fall but, like I said, not everyone plays the games right from the right place. No season to play, but I just associate it as a fall game. But it's always that it comes out on that time of year. That's why I'm saying that, but it's not a bad call.
Speaker 2:Like I said, you play that game. It's a game you will play during the year. You will play it through the summer.
Speaker 1:I agree with you. It's a good choice. I have nothing against that, so it's a good pick. I like it. It's a game you can play with others and alone. So a little campaign and a multiplayer campaign and online.
Speaker 2:People love the zombies.
Speaker 1:They do, they do Something about. The zombie games always booms it on, whatever genre it is, it goes, it takes off. Okay. Well, it means a little bit different. When I think of summer, I think of Mr Softee, I think of the Icy man, I think of Will Smith's Summertime and, ladies and gentlemen, added to the list of 2025, I think of Mario Kart that came out, which is a multiplayer, family-friendly game, a game that just came out Fun, new system and excitement in the room and Mario's happy. What's the summer about? Happiness? Everybody's smiling. So I think Mario Kart is a wonderful game to go with that man.
Speaker 1:Mario Kart World yeah the one that just came out. Yeah, remember, I'm a 2020, my list is 2025. No, no, hey, hey, hey. So Mario, the new Mario World, so I think of that game, the only issue with that is the only people happy got a Switch 2. Hey then this someone's looking good man, because that's definitely someone getting me right now.
Speaker 2:So it's kind of limited right now. Yeah, it is, it is All right, I'm going to go next, mr Amazing. Yes, sir, the game of games. Yo Fortnite, fortnite, yeah, I mean that game's been on for so long.
Speaker 1:Okay, I Fortnite. Yeah, I mean that game's been on for so long. Okay, I can see why you said Fortnite though.
Speaker 2:Fortnite cause number one it's free.
Speaker 1:Well, we can debate that it's free it's free to play, but not free to maintain. Oh yeah, free.
Speaker 2:I mean you wanna keep up with everything new costumes you're gonna pay some money. I didn't pay one dime. I played Fortnite. I just play regular. I don't buy, you don't know. I did buy a costume. Let me say I did buy a costume and, like I said, mr Amazing, fortnite is free, very kid friendly. They have several different concepts on there Turtles, lego, mr Amazing, superman is on there, the Walking Dead, squid Games, mr Amazing. They have concerts on this. Mr Amazing, fortnite is the game you can play during the summer, all year round, with people online, family and friends. Only thing you can't play oh, you can't play Squid Scream. I forgot, you can't play Squid Scream with Fortnite. Mr Mays, fair, endless fun. Mr Mays, that's fair, it's not a bad call and it's out for all systems, all systems and all ages.
Speaker 1:That's the beauty about it, so can't go wrong with that pick. All right Now to me, ladies and gentlemen. My summer 2025 list keeps going and, ladies and gentlemen, this is a game. I think.
Speaker 1:Michael's going to agree with me. Actually, ladies and gentlemen, I'm going to go with MLB the Show 2025. I was going to put that on my list too. You got to go with that because why Baseball leads us with all the sport leads. The number one summer sport that's on, ladies and gentlemen, is the WNBA and MLB, but MLB's been on longer, so I have to go MLB 2025. And that is the main attraction when it comes to major sports in America. So MLB 2025 is a good game and, mike, you can co-sign to that because anytime, I come here I watch you try to make the league.
Speaker 2:Still, You've been trying to make the league for like 10 months. You know, Yo, not 10 months. I started playing for the past couple of months.
Speaker 1:Mlb 2024, y'all, oh yeah, 2024 ticked me off.
Speaker 2:I hit 80 home runs. I still didn't get called up. I was mad as hell. It's got me stuck in. It's got me stuck in triple A. You know what I'm saying?
Speaker 1:eat ramen noodles so I definitely think it's.
Speaker 2:Uh, that's another one of my 2025 summer picks MLB alright, mr Mazin, I'm gonna go with my next pick Street Fighter 6, mr Mazin. Street Fighter 6 excellent overhaul of Street Fighter. Not overhaul, but a big step, a big leap from uh not overhaul, but a big step, a big leaf from. Street Fighter V, mr Amazing, it includes several features. Mr Amazing, it includes battlegrounds that contain local and online versus battles. Mr Amazing, as you know, the world tour, single player mode, which includes story. You customize your players there. And also Mr Amazing, the third mode. Mr Amazing, the battle hub. It acts as an online lobby. So, mr Amazing, the third mole. Mr May, the Battle Hub acts as an online lobby. So, mr Maysian, what do you think of that pick? And plus, it's season two. Yeah, it's season three. I'm sorry, it's season three coming up.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it's season three pack. You got one of our main fighters coming out, sagat, or Saget, as we say Saget, so you got Saget.

Speaker 1:Well, I can't go wrong, because you know, street Fighter is my favorite fighting game and everyone's jumping back on it, so I think that's a great pick actually.
Speaker 2:I was going to pick Tekken, but Tekken has fallen off a little bit, so with Season I believe it's Season 2, tekken has fallen off.
Speaker 1:Okay, I understand that. All right, so that was Mike's third pick for the summer games. Well, my summer 2025.
Speaker 2:Oh no, also sorry. Street Fighter has several different modes to play Moderate.
Speaker 1:You talking about the fighting skill yeah, fighting. Or modern, yeah, modern.
Speaker 2:and classic Classic which is a big hit in Japan. People love playing that, so newcomers won't have the difficulty of trying to get in and play people like Mr Amazing and his homeboys.
Speaker 1:So I think I'm an old breed on this game.
Speaker 2:Yeah, so I like it. I'm a Street.
Speaker 1:Fighter guy, so I wholly co-sign to this.
Speaker 2:It's a fun game, it's for all platforms, including what Mr Maze the.
Speaker 1:Switch 2. I'm dying to try it on the Switch 2, actually.
Speaker 2:I have no reason. I don't have no reason why you want to do it. You know what?
Speaker 1:it is Because when I got introduced to Street Fighter, it was on a Nintendo, and that's why I'm like, oh shoot, I get to play back on a system that got me into it. For those reasons, to be honest with you. All right, man. So my summer, my third pick for summer 2025 games continues. And guess what? It's another Nintendo game and, ladies and gentlemen, this one's not out yet, but anticipated. I'm going with Donkey Kong. Okay, banzai, we should be out exactly a week from now, well, the 17th.
Speaker 1:I don't know when this show airs, but it's coming out on the 17th of July and that game looks amazing. I think that's going to be. I actually picked this game to be better than Mario Kart, and that's weird. It's hard for me. A lot of people are like, well, really, this game might be more promising than Mario Kart, to be honest, even though I think Mario Kart is would have been on this. But Bonanza is definitely a game I'm looking forward to and can't wait to play it when it does come drop, well, on Michael's Switch 2. I don't have my know yet.
Speaker 2:All right, mr Amazing, a game I included included sorry, included for the summer games to play is NBA Jam. Mr Amazing, that's always a fun game. Actually, I actually agree with that Very fun, fun game you can play currently you can play if you do have these systems PS3, the Wii and Xbox 360. I believe it's backwards compatible with the Xbox One NBA Jam, but, mr Macy, have a PS3. The modding community, the modding. You could actually hook it up with today's players. Yes, sir, so it's a very fun game. Four players can play. Anybody can pick it up and really get into it. So that's my pick, mr Amazing, and, like I said for the modding community, you can mod it and have the current players play on their current teams.

Speaker 1:Yes, all right, man, my fourth summer 2025 game I'm going with, ladies and gentlemen, and this is a perfect one, because out during the summer, tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 and 4, which actually dropped today. I think that's a great summer game for 2025. For those who, for those who didn't play it on the oldest, I think it was a PS3 and 4. That's what they were for Tony Hawk, maybe even older than that. Maybe I played them. They came on 2? It might have been 2, actually.
Speaker 2:You might be right. I think you might be right, man I apologize for not remembering, but that was a fun game.
Speaker 1:I had a blast with Tony Hawk Pro Skater three and four. So the fact that they remastered it dropped today get that perfect summer game for those who like to skateboard.
Speaker 2:Be creative, artistic, show your ways, y'all alright, mr Mazin, I also picked Mario Kart.

It's sold, but not as well as the Mario Kart 8 has sold on the Switch. We sold over 76 million copies, mr Amazing.

Speaker 1:Wii Sports is fun too. Wii Sports was very popular in senior halls when it came out.
Speaker 2:Very popular game, mr Amazing. It's only stuck in the Wii, but in the Wii U you can play it on Mr Amazing. You can play what, mr Amazing? These are the four main games. You can play tennis, baseball, bowling, golf and boxing. Mr Amazing, wow.
Speaker 1:I can't believe Nintendo's dominating this summer topic. I think Nintendo got the win. Be honest with you without even finishing the list, I think Nintendo got the win, man. Hey, I wish I was going to throw another Nintendo one at you, but I'm not. But I'm going to throw a classic at you for my summer 2025 game, coming out the 29th of this month. Ladies and gentlemen, dive deep into Ninja Gaiden. What's it called? Rage Bound? That game looks good, man.

Speaker 1:That looks really fun, man. That, I think, is a perfect way to get the summer going Continuing. You want your one-player mode and enjoy yourself, man. I think that's a good game to get us ready for the bigger games. But go ahead, though. I don't want to talk out of turn at the moment.

The new Ghost of Tsushima, ninja Gaiden, ragebound. You know that whole fight well. It is ninja, but the other one is samurai. But the whole, you know the whole fighting Well. I see, I wonder if you could see the Japanese Fudo era. I guess it could be technically.

Speaker 1:August, august 26th? That's one of my picks, so Mike is doing my pick with me.
Speaker 2:So go ahead, mike, but I put the Gives Award, the old school one. But it's the same thing, though it's just remastered the original Gives Award was released in November 7th for Xbox 360. The Ultra Edition, which is a, I would say, remaster. Okay, that was released in August. Well, wait a minute, let me make sure I make the ultimate edition released August 2015.
Speaker 1:Okay, okay almost a year to date that this one's being released on the PS5. Now, this is coming out on August 26th. Gears of War Reloaded but since you already said, I'm not going to say it, but we pretty much have the same topic on this one, so I agree with Mike on this as well. Another one off the list I'm going to go with for my Summer 2025 picks to play, ladies and gentlemen, comes, ladies and gentlemen, comes out in August, august 8th, and that is Mafia the Old Country. For those who are big fans of Mafia Saga, you got one coming out this way and a lot of people are worried. This game is going to come out because Grand Theft Auto.
Speaker 1:Grand Theft Auto. But no fear, because Grand Theft Auto got pushed back like I predicted, so you're going to get this game in August y'all, so a good one to go with, mr.

Speaker 1:Okay, okay, okay Makes sense. Actually, I'm not mad at that. Well, I'm going to continue my summer 2025 game. This game came out well before the summer, but it's still a 2025 game. And I think, mike, you just bought this game, which is Clear, obscure Expedition 33. I thought about that too. Yeah, so that made the list, because the reason it made the list it's not my type of game but, ladies and gentlemen, the wave behind it, the feeling being nominated for possible game of the year. You got to see what that's about for the summer 2025. I had to make that list so you get your turn-based not really turn-based style to it, features to it.
Speaker 2:I think the main feature is turn-based.
Speaker 1:It is turn-based, but it's different it varies. Yeah, it varies. Yeah, exactly that's what I couldn't find, so that's definitely a 2025 game for me. Mike, go ahead, my friend.
Speaker 2:Alright, so my next one is Elden Ring, Mr Amazing. Oh yeah, that's a good one which won several Games of the Year awards when it came out and it sold I'm going to say it sold, mr Amazing, do you know? Mm-mm. 30 million copies, mr Amazing, wow. And it also came down with Don Noble DLC Wow, shadows of the Tree, and I think it's off of Switch 2, if I'm not mistaken. Sorry, not Shadow of the Tree, shadow of the Entry, entry, yeah. And it also came out recently with a multiplayer-focused spin-off game, elden Ring, night Rain, mr Maze. That came out, I believe, the end of May.
Speaker 1:That's a game I want to play, but I know I'm not going to play.
Speaker 2:And like. I said it's a 60, 70-hour game. I know it's like 60, 70 hour game.
Speaker 1:I know I want to play it, but I know I'm not going to play it, but hey, I believe it's a good game, man, All right, so go back to me now. My next game for the summer 2025 continues in that, ladies and gentlemen, that's going to be Assassin Creed Shadows. I mean, don't get any bigger than that, that'll keep you busy. That'll keep you busy. And you get to see feudal Japan. You get to see the controversy with a black man in the game ain't no controversy.

Speaker 1:You get to see all of that, but I think it's a good pick. It's a game that people can pick up and go and it's a good Assassin's Creed to continue the legacy as I get.
Speaker 2:That said Mr Mason. Uh oh, my last one is Death Stranded at the Beach. Death Stranded at the Beach. Okay, okay, games about 40 to 50 hours, depending on your play, and getting great reviews.
Speaker 1:Oh yeah, the reviews are like they're that good very good very good, okay, okay, okay. Since we both had Gears of War loaded Gears of War, I'm gonna add one to my last one.
Speaker 2:I mean, I got Honorable Mentions too. Oh yeah, bro, okay, so I'm going to add Honorable Mentions and I have to do Honorable Mentions.
Speaker 1:The one I'm going to add is Doom, dark Ages. I feel like that needs to be on someone's 25. To be honest with you, I feel like about it, not really, not really, you're right, but I haven't played it yet. Have you played it yours yet, because you're a big?
Speaker 2:Doom person. I haven't played it because the reason I didn't buy it? Because they said the game's not on the disc.
Speaker 1:Oh yeah, you wanted the thing where you did say that I wanted the disc and the problem with Doom and that thing was Doom 2.
Speaker 2:Okay, and online was out. Oh, I remember this, yeah, and I couldn't play it. I do remember that. Yeah, you had to. Yeah, I connect to online. I'm like yo. Yeah, I remember that. Come on, man, it's a single player game, son. Come on, that's ridiculous. I remember that.

Speaker 2:Let's see. I mean, I cream fried chicken so once he get, once he get a cream. Once he get my cream fried chicken, I will give him his doom fair, I'm not mad at that you know what I'm saying, but you got, mr Amazing, anything else no, I'm done, I'm done, but you got.

Speaker 2:I got honorable mentions until dawn. Okay, not the remaster, that's messed up and shoddy. The original, the original, okay. It came on the PS4, which you also can play on the PS5. Backwards compatibility. You can go through the game. Everybody can die, okay. Or you can save everybody, or you can save two or three people, okay okay, and you got different multiple endings. That's an excellent game to play during the summer.

Speaker 2:We'll go with the Halo 1 and 2. Okay, it's not bad. Multiplayer games you can play online with people. It's a fun game to play, play and you can play co-op with your friends, your partners, homeboys, girlfriend, boyfriend, husband, wife, grandmother, significant other okay, okay, okay.
Speaker 1:Well, I got a question for you. What's your all time summer game, if you was to pick one? I mean basically, just one game, one all time. What I mean by that? Just one game, one all-time. What I mean by that? Not like the best game to play. Like you think of summer, you think of this game. That's what I mean by it. You think of summer, you think of this game.
Speaker 2:It's no, I mean honestly, I'll pick Wii Sports.
Speaker 1:Wii Sports is your all-time summer game, and I'm taking you back, ladies and gentlemen, to 1987. Yeah, that's how old this game was talking about, and this game was classic Nah.

Speaker 1:A lot of people didn't play it, to be honest with you, but if you played it you thought it was dope. All right, california games, man, I love California games that game was fun. I used to love the skateboard All right Ice skating.

Speaker 2:So I mean it's similar to summer. Yeah, similar by summer, that's ah, nah, nah, nah, nah.
Speaker 1:This game was a classic to me, man, even though if you asked me what score you would give this, it wouldn't be high. This game is probably like a 6, to be honest with you, but for what it was, I love this game, man. I love this game.
